00:20Food's always good, entertainment's always good, and some really amazing people in the

00:25room.

00:27Since winning in 2023, it's been phenomenal.

00:32Moved into a bigger office, which has made everything a lot easier, our customer journey's

00:38a lot smoother, and yeah, just love what we do really, really enjoy it.

00:43Look into stuff, so yeah, being one of the finalists for the Startup of the Year is amazing

00:49because it gives me that confidence, you know, like, wow, what we're doing is actually good

00:54for the children in the community.

01:04Good evening everyone, and a very warm welcome to the Portsmouth Business Awards for 2025.

01:11Well, this is a really well-established annual event now, and times are a bit tough for businesses.

01:25They're under all sorts of pressures, so to give them the opportunity to be able to come

01:30together and celebrate success and appreciation, I think, is a really important thing.

01:35So it's brilliant that The News back these awards every year, and it's an opportunity

01:39for people to come together and network and catch up with each other and just get away

01:43from the daily slog and celebrate the amazing businesses we've got here in the city.

01:55I mean, it's fantastic.

01:57Portsmouth is such a brilliant city for us to be based in.

02:01We just love it.

02:02And we believe that there's the opportunity for so many people to thrive in Portsmouth.

02:06So seeing people delivering against that, feeling the vibe in the room, seeing the positivity,

02:12and seeing so many people in Portsmouth kind of pulling people up that ladder so that they

02:17can be successful as well is absolutely part of what we're about, so great to be here.

02:35Started in January of 2024, and here we are today, 40 months later.

02:41Yeah, that's fantastic.

02:49Brilliant. It's brilliant. It's a great night out for the guys, and it's just nice.

03:01It feels surreal. I feel like I'm living in a bit of a dream, actually. It's crazy.

03:06But I am absolutely over the moon.

03:11It's pretty amazing. It's quite ecstatic, especially when I'm up on that stage and

03:18I'm just having this fabulous time. I'm being recognised for all my talents and work that I've been in.

03:30It's a travel. No, it's not.

03:33Look back, it's been great. We've got some really great friends.

03:37I've met some great people, and I've had incredible training. It's just been wonderful.

03:41It's been a wonderful time. It's a lovely time. I can retire now.
