Twister's mile-long path of damage in Californian city

A tornado struck Modesto, California, on April 1, 2025, leaving a mile-long path of damage in just two minutes.

The twister, with winds reaching 76mph, touched down at 2:15pm and caused property damage, uprooted trees, and lifted a trailer.

No injuries were reported. Ashley Munsinger-Alvarado, who captured the moment, described the event as a "crazy" weather moment.

She noted the sudden change in weather, with heavy rain followed by the appearance of the funnel cloud.

Tornadoes are rare in the area, making the event even more striking.
