00:00We know what the standings look like.

00:01We know our play-in tournament matchups.

00:03We know a couple of our opening round sets around the actual NBA playoffs.

00:08And now the regular season is done.

00:11We look at those NBA championship odds.

00:13It's been a similar story for the final few months of this regular season.

00:18Oklahoma City, the odds-on favorite as the one seed out west.

00:21Our reigning champs, the Boston Celtics, expected to be in the NBA finals all year long,

00:27despite being the two-seed in the Eastern Conference, the odds-on favorite to win the East.

00:32And can that number one seed in the Eastern Conference actually be a challenger?

00:37That's the Cleveland Cavaliers at a plus 490 number.

00:40Those three teams, Vecchio, 5-1 or better.

00:43Everybody else, 17-1 or longer.

00:47What is your assessment of the NBA championship odds at the end of the regular season

00:51before the postseason starts?

00:54As you said, this is where we've been over the past few months.

00:57And, like, there's no real, like, standout.

00:59I will say that as someone that has a ticket on the Nuggets to win the West,

01:03not an NBA title odd, just to win the West, I'm kind of intrigued where they are.

01:07Like, they're dealing with this question mark where they fire Mike Malone.

01:11They're into the playoffs.

01:12They certainly have a very tough series in the first round going up against the Clippers.

01:15But if they were to get past that, and obviously we assume OKC gets past their first-round matchup,

01:21like, that is a very, very interesting second-round matchup.

01:24But OKC, this young upstart team that is finally trying to make a deep push into the playoffs

01:28versus this, you know, veteran team in the Nuggets that have done before,

01:32but we have this, like, unknown factor because they fired their head coach.

01:36If the Nuggets were to win that series, hypothetically, I'm not saying they will.

01:39It would be a seven-game series if they were to do so.

01:41The West is completely up for grabs at that point.

01:44I don't expect the Rockets to win, you know, a second-round series.

01:47They could even be upset by the Warriors.

01:49And then if we were to see Warriors, Lakers, Nuggets as some of the final three teams,

01:54the Nuggets at that price would be amazing to have.
