00:15At number 10, the song that changed the way we thought of Green Day.

00:19After bratty punk rock songs, Good Riddance, Time of Your Life,

00:23showed a whole new side of Billy Joe Armstrong's songwriting.

00:26Coming in at number 9, U2's 1991 album Ak Tong Baby came as a huge shock to their fans.

00:33It was dark and sarcastic, filled with dance music beats.

00:37But the song won, showed that beneath their newfound glitz, they were as soulful and introspective as ever.

00:43Number 8, after the demise of Nirvana, everyone was rooting for Dave Grohl.

00:48While on Everlong and the rest of the first Foo Fighters album, he proved that he wasn't going to let us down.
