All the ways you can cast your vote in the federal election

The Australian Electoral Commission explains the different ways you can vote for the federal election in regional and rural Australia.

00:12vote via telephone voting if you have blindness or low vision. We go to extraordinary lengths to

00:18make voting possible for all Australians. Even if you're in a remote area, we will have mobile

00:25teams out allowing people to vote in remote areas, we visit hospitals, we visit aged care centres and for

00:33this election we've had a dramatic increase in the accessibility of our polling places on election

00:39day. We've almost 50% of our polling places fully accessible. Voting is compulsory in Australia but

00:45beyond that it's an absolute privilege to have the say in who is representing us in the Parliament. Lots

00:53of people in the world do not have that opportunity and here in Australia, plan your vote, get out,
