00:00We wanted to call our friends Jenny and James because they have the best love story that we

00:06heard in the Chicago O'Hare airport. Yeah we were stuck there at the worst possible like you know

00:12the flight attendant show up we end up meeting these guys in line and we just hit it off

00:17immediately. Hi guys how are you? Hey good morning. Hey how are you guys? We're so well. This love

00:24story has so many twists and turns and at the end of this even if you hate love you're gonna love

00:29love. You're gonna end up being like all right love ain't so bad. Do you guys want to kind of well I

00:35mean it's your love story we'd love for you to um to kind of tell everybody your story. So I'll start

00:43um so I was in New Orleans making a reservation at Howard's in New Orleans which is owned by Caesars

00:50Jenny works for Caesars Call Center and I get Jenny on the phone. I was making a reservation with

00:57another um female and I loved her voice because of an Australian accent. Of course that's like a

01:05immediate sucker for that. Immediate. Right right so pretty good. So that's what y'all noticed I think

01:11was her accent. Yes. So I I asked her to leave a message on my voicemail so I could just have her

01:18voice. Are you? And I did it yes. And I did it and I thought I was being sneaky because I thought

01:26I would get her phone number but she called from a random extension at at Caesars. She was like wow

01:32all I got her number finally it's 1-800-CAESAR. Right right. Everyone has my number. Right.

01:38Yeah. So for two weeks I I called and called I didn't realize Caesars had three call centers one

01:48in one one in the Philippines and the one here in Vegas. So after two weeks I I get someone and I

01:56said I'm trying to get in touch with Jamie and she's like oh no you mean Jenny and she connects me

02:02to Jenny. Oh no. And she remembered me. How did she know that you meant Jenny and not Jamie? Yeah I

02:09know there must be a lot of people there. I said I'm trying to get in touch with the Australian

02:13the girl that works in the call center with the Australian accent. Gotcha. Okay. Not many. There's

02:18only one of them. Yeah. In Vegas so and I think about that I think about that a lot I may have married

02:26the wrong person. There's some lady who's a recluse with 20 cats saying to herself I thought that guy

02:36really liked me. Literally amazing. Okay so Jenny let's go to you. Yeah let's go you finally get to

02:42Jenny and Jenny what are you thinking? Okay so I'm thinking okay well yeah I do like his voice because

02:48you know he's from the south he's New Orleans I love the accent but um I'm thinking god this guy's

02:54stalking me. Really? My goodness right? Yeah. And um so I finally sort of started talking to him I gave

03:02in and I said oh yeah and you can find me on Facebook and so um we ended the call you know I

03:08can't really talk at work for a while you know a personal call so I said you know find me on Facebook

03:12I gave him my last name so he found me on Facebook. Wow. We connect yeah so we connected on Facebook

03:17and um and it took me a while to give me I said I'm not giving him my number yet you know we talked

03:24on Facebook then I gave in I gave him my number and um and I said to him oh look it's no point

03:31calling me because I really don't talk on the phone because I don't like to talk a lot because

03:34I speak on the phone all day blah blah blah I'm not going to talk to you. He called me and we ended up

03:39talking for three hours. There we go. See now that's I expect nothing now here's the thing I'm

03:45curious you must have been hit on before. Because of your voice. Yes I have. And what what what made

03:50him different? There was something different about him I don't know what it was I just the voice um he

03:57wasn't sleazy you know he wasn't the type of guy I'm gonna come gentleman yes I'm not coming to

04:03Vegas I'll take you out for a drink. Right right. You know there was nothing like that and you know

04:08what he when we started talking he sent me a a package and I'm thinking oh no it's gonna be

04:14lingerie something sleazy. At the best case scenario yeah. Right right. Anyway and he said um and I come to

04:22find out he sent me a care package with all my favorite chocolates from Australia. Wow okay. That's a good move.

04:29Good move. That's a good move. Right and that took a lot of thought you know right. He's been

04:34Tim Tams. Tim Tams. Oh my favorite chocolates and pizza shapes I'm not sure you know what that

04:42pizza shapes barbecue shapes everything that comes from Australia and so I go oh yeah he didn't win me

04:49at hello he won me at chocolate. Yes that's usually yeah that's usually uh the thing that puts you over

04:54now now this is cute up until this point. Right. This is somewhat normal still weird. Somewhat normal

05:00yes and it's better right. But we gotta get into how you first met. Yes. Because this is bananas. I'm

05:07sorry yeah so we go we're talking and we're chatting for three months and uh I was still living in New

05:13Orleans and I called her and I said um it's time for a vacation and I said I'm gonna take a vacation I'm

05:19probably either going to do an all-inclusive or a cruise and she was like oh if I were y'all do a

05:24cruise. So the next day I call her and I said look I've booked a cruise and the airline a flight for

05:32you to New Orleans. They need your information. Here's their numbers to call. Oh my gosh. And

05:36she called and did it and that was our first date was a cruise out of New Orleans. I flew her to New

05:44Orleans and she was nervous because what what were your friends telling you Jen? Oh he's gonna kill

05:48you. He's gonna you don't get a balcony room. Oh my goodness all these things are going through my

05:57head. I'm thinking what am I doing my goodness. But you know what I got to know him over like

06:02three months. So I didn't see oh I saw a few red flags but not a lot. Just a few. We all got him. We

06:12all got him. So you had two rules on the cruise. No balcony and any excursion there would be no

06:19hiking or anything. No hiking. Yes no. You don't need to get Vander sluted. So so that okay so that

06:26obviously went really well. How how long were you how long ago was this? Um so we met in November we

06:34started talking November of 2016 and met uh the February of 2017 on the cruise. Wow. And then

06:42y'all are married now. Yeah we got married last year in July last year. We just made our one year

06:48anniversary on July 24th. Happy anniversary. It was kind of like a real wedding because for our original

06:56wedding here in uh Las Vegas we only had about 14 people. So my sister threw a big shindig in New

07:03Orleans and it was probably about 90 plus people that couldn't come to the wedding. Oh that's cool.

07:07Due to COVID. So it's really nice. Man oh man. Wow. Well we just love your story so much. We had to

07:12share it with all of Las Vegas. And we're friends now. Yeah oh my goodness. She calls you lovey on text

07:19all the time. Oh my gosh. Jenny when you you've texted me lovey so many times and I'm like oh my god I can

07:23hear her say it when she texts me. I'm falling in love with you Jenny. I'm falling in lovey and the

07:28thing is yesterday I was speaking to this Canadian girl on the phone. She was booking a reservation

07:32and she was my age and she's also and I told her the story. She goes oh you're giving me hope.

07:40I love it. She goes I've got oh you're giving me hope. I love your story. There's hope for me.

07:45She said does he have a brother. You guys are the best. We wish you many many more years

07:54of love and Australian accents. Yes no doubt. Great talking to you guys. Nice to meet you.
