J&K government shuts 48 tourist spots amid terror threats

00:15Communication intercepts confirmed that some sleeper cells in the valley were activated

00:18following the Behlgaam attack and had been instructed to initiate further operations.

00:23Intelligence inputs indicated that militant groups were actively planning attacks targeting

00:27security forces and non-local individuals.

00:30Alarmingly, the reports also suggested that Pakistan's ISI was behind plans to carry out

00:35targeted strikes especially against non-locals, CID personnel and members of the Kashmiri Pandit

00:41community in Srinagar and Gandharbal districts.

00:44Continuous intelligence reports further suggested that terrorists active across North, Central

00:49and South Kashmir were planning targeted killings along with a larger, more impactful attack

00:54in retaliation for the destruction of active terrorist houses in the valley following the

00:59Behlgaam attack.

01:05group of Jammu and Kashmir police to sensitive tourist locations including Gulmarg, Sonmarg and
