In Venezuela, the National Council summoned the people to participate in the Mock Electoral Simulation for the regional elections to be held next Sunday, May 25, with the purpose of familiarizing voters with the system. teleSUR

00:00And we go now to Venezuela as the National Electoral Council will carry out on Saturday a nationwide electoral simulation
00:07as part of the preparations for the legislative and regional elections to be held next May 25th.
00:13During this day, citizens will be able to familiarize themselves with the automated voting system to be used in the elections
00:20as well as test the use of the voting machines and learn about the entire process from identification to casting their vote.
00:28Likewise, the National Electoral Council will take advantage of this activity to evaluate the transmission of data
00:36and the totalization of the results in real time, ensuring the transparency and security of the system.
00:43It is expected that the simulation will facilitate citizen participation
00:46and help voters feel more confident and prepared to exercise their right to vote on Election Day.
