01:06Hi, I'm Claire Cohen. I'm the writer and director of Dead End, the short film.
01:11I'm currently a senior, getting my undergraduate degree at Elon University and hopefully my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinema and Television Arts.
01:18From a young age, I've always loved storytelling and the arts, from writing to drawing to dancing and finally landing on filmmaking, where I feel like I've finally found my voice.
01:27I want to create a short film that's going to make you laugh and cry and then laugh again. And hopefully with your help I could do that.
01:33The two main characters are really near and dear to my heart as I pull from my experiences, my siblings' experiences, my friends' and my parents' experiences.
01:41Over the past few years, we've battled a lot of difficult things and through overcoming them, I'm hoping to share our story and encourage others to grow with us.
