00:00Obviously, the fact that full deposition of funds hasn't been completed is a concern.

00:06You could imagine how that would be a concern for Raj Singh.

00:08It's clearly been a sticking point in the past.

00:11And with good reason, you can understand why Singh would be reluctant to complete a deal until that stage.

00:20I imagine it's completely essential.

00:23But it would also seem as though it's dependent on the other party as well.

00:29Shelley Hammond, who's obviously strongly linked with the takeover took to social media,

00:33she suggested that due diligence is ongoing, but that it's really close to a completion.

00:39So my best guess would be that the reason why funds haven't been deposited is because due diligence hasn't been completed.

00:47So although perhaps the deadline might have passed, I don't think it's passed irrevocably.

00:53Hopefully, pools are going to be able to get something completed sooner rather than later.

00:57But obviously, from the incoming owner's point of view, it is important that they complete that due diligence as thoroughly as possible.

01:05They don't want to take over and start planning and start budgeting and then uncover any skeletons in the closet or nasty surprises.

01:13So clearly, it's significant that they can do that process thoroughly.

01:17Nonetheless, I think it's pretty clear that time is of the essence and you would really like something to be completed,

01:21ideally this week, but certainly before the end of the month.

01:30it was due diligence takes time, but that time is invaluable.

01:34It gives us crucial insight into what's broken, what needs fixing, where the risks and opportunities lie,

01:39and most importantly, how we hit all those important milestones, brackets, promotions, faster.

01:43Due diligence isn't just a box to check.

01:45It's the foundation for genuine long-term stability and success.

01:48And that's what we all want.

01:49And there's no better feeling than getting close to the end of that process, dot, dot, dot, really close.

01:56So Pools fans will cling to those final two words with great hope over the next couple of days and weeks, but we shall see.
