Frenchie takes a wild dive into pool while chasing a lizard

This clip shared by Yamile stars a fearless little Frenchie who clearly believes he's on a mission from nature.

While hot on the tail of a speedy lizard, his determination took a sudden nosedive, straight into the pool.

Luckily, his heroic mom was standing nearby, ready to turn into an Olympic swimmer in 0.2 seconds.

Without missing a beat, she leapt in and scooped up her soggy adventurer.

The lizard may have gotten away, but the Frenchie got a dramatic rescue.
