The Sankalang Bridge has collapsed, blocking a key road, while the main feeding bridge towards North Sikkim has also been closed due to damage. Additionally, the electrical control lab set up for the reconstruction of the Chungthang Dam Project was previously washed away in the October 3, 2023 floods.
