00:00It's an honor to be here. It's an honor to honor this person. I'm here to present the

00:08billboards executive of the year to Miss Stacy V tonight. So I love Miss Stacy. Everybody that

00:16knows her knows why. Give me about 90 seconds up here. So let's just cut the chase. Everything

00:24that is a blessing is a curse. And everything that is a curse is a blessing. The curse in

00:31this business, like so many businesses, a female needs to work a thousand times harder than

00:36a male to get his tenth as much as the male gets. That's just how it is. Always been.

00:41The blessing on that, I think that's what makes Dolly Parton Dolly Parton. I think that's

00:47what, and I was firsthand watching this, makes Reba McIntyre Reba McIntyre. You can't outwork

00:53her, right? I'm married to one of the greatest singers of any format. And I watch her. I watch

01:00her every day work a thousand times harder than me to get a tenth as much as they give

01:04me. So with that, I think that kind of describes Stacy. But the thing with her that sets her

01:11apart from anybody else for me is her own conviction. She truly believes where she's going. She knows

01:17where she's going. So I'm trying not to make this a gender thing. So there'll be no comments

01:22about who has a bigger pair of balls, her or most of the men in this industry, because

01:26it's no competition. But the thing that I want to say is it is my honor to present the billboard

01:33executive of the year to a sweet, sweet soul, Ms. Stacey V.

01:39I mean, this is an example of what I love so much about working in this genre and working

02:02in this vibrant community here in Nashville. It just goes to show you that anything is possible.

02:12And I'm so grateful to billboard for this award. I'm so grateful to so many people who have championed

02:18me, many of whom are in this room, agents, managers, artists, my team at AEG, my team who works so hard

02:29on all of the events I produce. I get to stand up here and accept this, but I represent so many people's

02:37hard work who carry out my vision. In particular, I want to thank Sabrina Sarmiento, who's here with me

02:44tonight. Her impact on the company and our festivals are immeasurable. And I'm so proud to accept this

02:54award. And it means the world to me. And thank you so much.
