00:00The fastest race I have on video is 60 meters in 5.8 seconds.

00:08We always went for short walks and when we would head back home, she wanted to race to

00:13the door.

00:14We lived in an apartment in the city, but we would spend the weekends in our country

00:17house.

00:18It was a perfect way for her to burn energy.

00:20She isn't very active indoors.

00:26She just eats, sleeps, and cuddles.

00:31Racker Catan is definitely an outdoor game.

00:34I gave her access to the backyard and forest and a whole new world was open for her.

00:43She loves running, so we decided to have these races.

00:47We started when she was about two years old.

00:49In the summertime, maybe two per week.

00:54One year to two per month.

01:01First time we did a race, she was a bit surprised that I was so serious when I ran.

01:07But she loved it.

01:09She's very eager to start running when we're close to the starting line.

01:19She always wants to win.

01:21In 12 years of doing these races, she's never lost.

01:26In the winter, I almost never cut her claws.

01:29They're nice and sharp and she can get a good grip on the snow.

01:33I think she likes the grip she gets to dive into the snow and jump around.

01:51She likes summer best.

01:57In summer, she can run in the forest, in the fields, or on the country road.

02:10She spent all of her time outdoors, exploring everything.

02:23She loves climbing on big boulders and exploring.

02:27She always looks super happy outside.

02:30When she was seven years old, we decided to permanently move to the country house.

02:39I'm so grateful to have her in my life.

02:40She's such a good and fun friend.

02:45She's taught me to slow down and spend more time at home.

02:49She taught me that it's amazing to just sit and enjoy the forest.
