00:30El dog trots freely in the street and sees reality, and the things he sees are bigger than himself, and the things he sees are his reality.
00:52Drunks in doorways, moons on trees, the dog trots freely through the street, and the things he sees are smaller than himself.
01:03Fish on newsprint, ants in holes, chickens in Chinatown windows, their heads a block away.
01:11The dog trots freely in the street, and the things he smells smell something like himself.
01:20The dog trots freely in the street, past puddles and babies, cats and cigars, pool rooms and policemen.
01:29He doesn't hate cops, he merely has no use for them.
01:32And he goes past them, and past the dead cows, hung up hole in front of the San Francisco meat market.
01:41He would rather eat a tender cow than a tough policeman, though either might do.
01:47And he goes past the Romeo ravioli factory, and past Coit's Tower, and past Congressman Doyle.
01:57He's afraid of Coit's Tower, but he's not afraid of Congressman Doyle.
02:03Although what he hears is very discouraging, very depressing, very absurd.
02:08To a sad young dog like himself, to a serious dog like himself.
02:17But he has his own free will to live in, his own fleas to eat.
02:22He will not be muzzled. Congressman Doyle is just another fire hydrant to him.
02:28The dog trots freely in the street, and has his own dog's life to live, and to think about, and to reflect upon.
02:36Touching, and tasting, and testing everything.
02:40Investigating everything, without benefit of perjury.
02:45A real realist, with a real tale to tell, and a real tale to tell it with.
02:53A real, live, barking, democratic dog.
02:57Engaged in real, free enterprise, with something to say about ontology.
03:02Something to say about reality, and how to see it, and how to hear it.
03:08With his head cocked sideways at street corners, as if he is just about to have his picture taken for Victor Records.
03:16Listening for his master's voice, and looking like a living question mark, into the great gramophone of puzzling existence.
03:28With its wondrous hollow horn, which always seems just about to spout forth some victorious answer to everything.
03:40With its promise, we are left over to the great and horizontal track of the world, and against the fact that we are recorded in our state of the world.
03:41Canada, Canada, Canada, Canada, Canada has launched the world at the perfect time of the world.
03:42It is exactly together.
03:45We are all right, I think.
03:46It is exactly together, please.
03:47Oh yeah!
03:48The word is exactly together, please.
03:49Speaker 1, 6th of the world.
03:50Oh yeah.
03:52The word is exactly together.
03:53He works exactly together.
03:54Oh yeah.
03:55The word is exactly together, please.
03:56Oh yeah!
