With more pubs - including Wetherspoons - closing down, we ask people in Birmingham what they think should be done to protect pubs, and why they’re so important to local communities.

00:00I think that's important because this place is famous for pubs, like UK is famous for pubs,

00:10so it shouldn't be closing, definitely. But yeah, I think so there should be something done by the

00:18councils or the government to actually reserve it because people around the world, they come here

00:23actually to explore the culture and everything and if that closes it's actually a very sad thing.

00:33It brings life to the communities really, it gets everyone together, there is the people who are

00:40take their drink a bit too far and don't know how to handle their drink which security and that are

00:45they're always there I've noticed there's always security so I'm not sure about that.

00:49Pub should always be because it's just summit like everyone gets together have a laugh,

00:56it brings good vibes in my opinion.
