00:00Are we sure it's not a plane?
00:02Because it could be a plane.
00:03No, it's me, David Cornswet, playing your new Sucomat.
00:13Now, I just want to say congratulations to both of you.
00:15Your performances, the first 30 minutes of the preview,
00:18is something I would like to describe as super califragilistic.
00:22Calidocious!
00:24Woah!
00:25That's enough.
00:26Give yourself a thing.
00:27In effect, you illegally entered a country.
00:29This is how you're going to be?
00:30I'm not the one being interviewed, Superman.
00:33Training to be Superman is not just about lifting weights.
00:36It's about lifting your meals as well.
00:38Duh.
00:39Were there any, like, weird meal prep combo that you had to down?
00:44Or maybe a food or ingredient that you would never, ever want to see or eat again?
00:50Well, there was nothing.
00:51You can't eat anything that you're going to get tired of,
00:53because you just have to keep eating day after day,
00:55hour after hour, day after day, for months and months.
00:57So, what I ate was egg-to-no meal for breakfast.
01:00A lot of them.
01:01I had two 1,200-calorie shakes a day, which I don't recommend.
01:06And a full 32-ounce container of Greek yogurt for a bedtime snack.
01:18Every day.
01:19Over that breakfast we had, we were ordering, like, four plates of eggs, and I was like,
01:23man, that's amazing.
01:25And then we didn't see each other for a couple months, and then you were twice as easy.
01:29Yeah.
01:30It really happened very quickly.
01:31Yeah, you worked really hard.
01:32And also, the Malaysians would like to know if there will ever be a chance of monster invasion
01:38and disruption of the peace in Malaysia, and possibly can we have Superman to save us?
01:44Yes.
01:45I would hope so.
01:46I think that if there is giant monsters in Malaysia or any sort of problem, then Superman would show up.
01:52And I would love a trip to Malaysia.
01:54Maybe I'll come and shoot in Malaysia and have that excuse to, yeah, this is the nice journalist of Malaysia.
02:00People were going to die!
02:04I mean, this marks a fresh start for many fans.
02:07Now, as Lewis and Clark, like, is there a pressure carrying this legacy moving forward into this whole new chapter for many, many, many coming years for yourself?
02:18You feel pressure?
02:19You feel pressure?
02:20No, I didn't.
02:21It's a really nice kind of pressure.
02:23I mean, how lucky would we be if we got to keep playing these characters?
02:27I hope that it's many years.
02:29We're taking the mantle from some of the best to ever do it.
02:32And it's a real privilege, and definitely we feel the weight of the responsibility.
02:36And these kinds of movies can be, like, you know, soul-sucking endeavors.
02:40You know, you hear stories about these big, you know, tentpole films, especially with IP like this.
02:45It was a surprise to me, and the most welcome one, to have the feeling of making a movie with your friends, you know, in the backyard.
02:52That's how James runs his set.
02:54That's how he thinks about movies. He wants to make movies.
02:57We're looking forward to coming back and getting to make more if we get to, because it was just such a great family to get back together and make another.
03:03Was it an easy pick in deciding you're Clark Kent and also Lewis's name?
03:07It wasn't the hardest.
03:09It was harder finding Lex, in a way, because I couldn't figure out what I was going to do.
03:13Clark was, it was difficult because I had to be sure, you know, but David was the second audition I saw.
03:20Second audition?
03:21He was the second audition I saw.
03:23I had seen him in my friend Ty West movie, Pearl. Great movie.
03:27And I thought, oh, this guy could be pretty good.
03:29I see. Was he your first choice as well?
03:31Yeah.
03:32Because you said you knew when you saw him.
03:33I knew he looked like Superman. I knew he was a good actor from Pearl.
03:37I didn't know he could handle the playfulness or humor of Superman.
03:42And then I saw his audition and I'm like, oh my God, this guy gets it. Like, he really gets it.
03:46Luther is going to hurt people. I have to stop him.
04:07He was a great actor.
04:08He was a great actor.
04:09He was a good actor and a little guy.
04:10...
04:15He was a boy.
04:19And then he saw him.
04:20I need to get out of time.
04:21I know that good actor.
04:22I want to get out of time.
04:24You know what I'm was trying to get out of time.
04:25He was a good actor, that was his actor, that was a good actor for that.
04:28But he was like, oh boy, he was a good actor.
04:30He was a good actor.
04:32Oh boy.
