A team of determined charity fundraisers faced the heat last weekend as they walked barefoot across burning hot coals to raise money for Dementia Adventure—a charity that helps people with dementia enjoy the outdoors and live more active, connected lives.

The fire walk, held in July, brought together supporters including the Rev Stella Wiseman, of the Parish of Badshot Lea and Hale, whose parents, Tony and Diana, both lived with dementia in the final years of their lives.
