LION SCARES LEOPARD FROM TREE WITH VID BY Mikey Jones Watch as this scaredy cat leopard runs away from an approaching lion. The big can can be seen jumping from the tree before making a swift exit. The moment was caught on camera by Alexander Ley, 32, who filmed the action in the Serengeti, Tanzania. Alexander said: "We found a pride of lions resting in the shade. "After snapping a few shots, our guide suddenly spotted a leopard up in a distant tree, a rare sight for this area, especially at that time of day. "After watching them for a while, we noticed the lions begin to move… straight toward the leopards. "The leopard was still up in the tree, facing the other direction, and hadn’t seen the approaching danger yet. "The leopard, finally realizing what was happening, leapt down and sprinted to join her. "The lions chased hard, but the leopards just managed to scramble up into the thin upper branches, out of reach. "It was incredibly intense. "A close call, and a reminder that even trees aren’t always safe when lions are involved." ENDS
