00:09are in favor of abiding by the Supreme Court's ruling on Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment complaint.

00:17Estrada said this on Thursday night, July 31st, asserting that the trial should no longer proceed

00:23after the High Court's ruling that declared the impeachment complaint unconstitutional.

00:27He also warned of a constitutional crisis should the Senate defy the Court's decision.

00:35Earlier, Senate President Francis Cheese Escudero said the chamber, in an all-member assembly,

00:41agreed to set a specific date to deliberate on the matter, giving senators time to study the SE's decision

00:47and the opinions filed by five or six justices.

00:51The Senate will decide on August 6th on whether or not to proceed with the impeachment trial

00:57of the Vice President following the Supreme Court ruling.
