During a press briefing on Tuesday, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey confirmed that the CDC shooter had prior contacts with law enforcement prior to the shooting.

00:00With 200 rounds, I think you said 200 rounds impacting six CDC buildings,

00:06we know that there was the daycare there.

00:08Can you just give us a sense of the proximity of those rounds to people who were there

00:13and what level, how serious this could have been?

00:17I'm not sure the locations of the rounds that were impacted there.

00:22And it was, I believe I mentioned it was up close to 200 rounds

00:26that impacted six different buildings.

00:28And the exact locations of where the rounds struck, I'm not familiar with.

00:32Can you give us any more specifics about the evidence you said you found

00:36regarding White's discontent with the vaccine, like what that looked like,

00:40or what we know, we know anything else?

00:44We're basing that off some of the documentation that we recovered.

00:47I would describe it as more of a public awareness.

00:51There was no direct threat, as I'll refer to it within it,

00:55but it was his public, making the public aware in his words of his discontent with the vaccines itself.

01:04You suggested that the suspect was on law enforcement's radar in the weeks prior to the shooting.

01:10Was that mainly about his own welfare and his suicidal ideations,

01:14or was there any indication that he might carry out some sort of violence?

01:18Well, we're aware that there were law enforcement contacts made with him prior to it.

01:24We know within weeks prior to it.

01:27Currently, this time, our investigators are getting with the law enforcement that made those contacts

01:32and finding out what the details of that were.

01:35We know that according to a lot of enforcement sources,

01:38that during the warrant, you guys may have found some medication that he was on.

01:42Can we talk about maybe his health makeup just a little bit at this point?

01:45Do you have any indications about what he's suffering from any mental health issues

01:50that he had medication for?

01:51Can we talk about that at all?

01:52I can't speak to that at this time.
