00:00and beloved, the words of Jesus in Matthew 7 should make us tremble. Not everyone who says to
00:06me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven. This is not a warning to atheists or pagans.
00:14It is a warning to those who profess his name. We live in a time where millions call themselves
00:21Christians, yet many will not see the glory of Christ when he returns for his bride. They will
00:27be left behind, shocked, confused, and crying out, Lord, why not me? The strange reason.
00:36They believed in a Christ of their own making, not the Christ of Scripture. They were fans
00:41of Jesus, not followers. They sang hymns but never bowed in surrender. They prayed for
00:47blessings but resisted repentance. When the trumpet sounds and the true church is taken,
00:53the world will awaken to a horrifying truth. Half-hearted faith cannot save. My prayer today
01:01is not to frighten you into religion, but to compel you into reality. Unless your life bears
01:08the marks of genuine salvation, the rapture will not be your deliverance. It will be your devastation.
01:161. False assurance in a shallow faith, the tragedy of the modern church, is that it is filled with
01:22people convinced they are destined for heaven, when in reality they are walking toward eternal
01:28separation from God. This false assurance often springs from a superficial understanding of
01:34salvation. Many have been told that repeating a prayer, signing a card, or walking down an aisle
01:42secures eternal life, without any lasting transformation of heart. But the gospel Jesus preached was far
01:50deeper and far more demanding. In Matthew 13, Jesus told the parable of the soils, revealing that some
01:58receive the word with joy, but have no root. When tribulation or persecution comes, they fall away.
02:04Others are choked by the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches, proving they were never truly
02:12transformed. Outward appearances of faith can be deceiving. Religious activity, church attendance, ministry service,
02:22even emotional worship experiences, cannot save. Paul warns in 2 Corinthians 13, 5, examine yourselves to see
02:33whether you are in the faith. This examination is not about doubting God's promises, but about testing the reality of your
02:42profession against the fruit of your life. When Christ returns, those clinging to shallow faith will be left
02:50behind, stunned that their external religion was never genuine salvation. True saving faith produces
02:57repentance, obedience, and endurance. Anything less is a dangerous imitation. 2. The danger of a gospel
03:06without lordship, one of the most destructive lies in the modern church, is the teaching that you can
03:12accept Jesus as Savior, but not as Lord. This easy, believism, strips the gospel of its demand for
03:20surrender and produces, converts who acknowledge Christ with their lips, but reject his authority over
03:27their lives. Yet scripture leaves no room for such a separation. Jesus himself said in Luke 6, 46,
03:36Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and not do what I tell you? Salvation is not merely an insurance policy
03:45against hell. It is a transfer of ownership, where Christ becomes master, and we his servants. The early
03:53church understood this well. Believers turned from idols, abandoned sinful practices, and embraced
04:00persecution for the sake of Christ. Their faith was evident not only in words, but in radical obedience.
04:09In contrast, modern Christianity often tolerates a version of faith that costs nothing and changes
04:17nothing. The gospel without lordship produces nominal Christians, people who believe Jesus died for them,
04:25but live as though they belong to themselves. On the day of the rapture, many such individuals will
04:33discover that a divided heart cannot enter the kingdom. The Christ who saves is the Christ who reigns.
04:413. Worldliness as the hidden idol, the apostle John warns in 1 John 2.
04:4715. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in
04:53him. Yet worldliness remains one of the most tolerated sins in the church today. It is a subtle idol that
05:01steals the affections meant for Christ. Worldliness doesn't always manifest in blatant rebellion. Often it
05:09appears in subtle compromises, an obsession with career success, a fixation on material wealth, entertainment
05:18that dulls the conscience, or a lifestyle that mirrors unbelievers more than the Savior. The problem is not
05:27that believers enjoy God's blessings, but that these blessings often replace God as the source of
05:33satisfaction. Jesus made it clear in Matthew 6, 24, you cannot serve God and money. Divided allegiance is
05:41impossible in the kingdom of God. When our hearts are anchored to worldly pursuits,
05:47our hope for Christ's return fades, and spiritual preparation is neglected. Those who cling to this
05:55world will find it slipping away at the rapture, when Christ calls his true followers home. Many
06:03will be left behind because their treasure was here, not in heaven. If your love for the world outweighs
06:10your love for Christ, you are not ready for his appearing. 4. Deception in the last days,
06:16Jesus warned in Matthew 24, 24, that false prophets will arise and deceive, if possible, even the elect.
06:24The last days will be marked by spiritual deception, truth will be diluted, and false gospels will abound.
06:31We see this already. Preachers who promise health and wealth instead of holiness, churches that affirm
06:39sin rather than call for repentance, and teachers who twist scripture to please the culture. The danger
06:47is not merely in listening to false teaching, but in embracing a counterfeit gospel that cannot save.
06:55In Galatians 1, 8, Paul warns that even if an angel from heaven preaches a different gospel,
07:03let him be accursed. Yet many professing Christians tolerate and even celebrate unbiblical teaching
07:11because it is entertaining, affirming, or popular. Satan's goal is not always to destroy faith outright,
07:19but to distort it subtly. A half, truth is more dangerous than a full lie because it keeps people
07:27comfortable in their deception. The rapture will reveal who has built their life on the rock of
07:33truth and who has built on the sand of error. Only those grounded in the word, discerning by the spirit,
07:41and committed to the unchanging gospel will be ready for that day. 5. The call to self-examination,
07:49the reality that many will be left behind, should compel every professing believer to self-examination.
07:57This is not morbid introspection, but a biblical command. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 13, 5,
08:06Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. A true faith can endure testing
08:15because it is anchored in Christ's finished work, not in human effort. Self-examination asks honest
08:22questions. Am I truly repentant or merely regretful? Do I obey Christ's commands joyfully, or do I resist
08:31His authority? Is my love for Him growing, or is my heart growing cold? These questions reveal whether our
08:39faith is genuine or superficial. Evidence of salvation is not perfection, but direction. A true believer
08:48will stumble, but the trajectory of their life will be toward holiness, obedience, and deeper love for
08:56Christ. In contrast, a false convert will remain comfortable in sin, resistant to change, and indifferent to
09:05the things of God. When the rapture comes, there will be no time for last, minute repentance. The opportunity
09:13is now. Examine your heart today, align your life with the Word, and ensure that your hope rests in Christ
09:22alone. Only then will you be ready when the trumpet sounds.
