Everton’s summer window that has kicked into late life ahead of season start

00:00well on to Everton and in terms of the transfer business obviously we mentioned at the start of

00:09the summer that it was very clear the business was likely to go late they have made a few additions

00:14I mean let's start with Keenan Dewsbury Hall I mean he's a player who I think people maybe forget

00:19how good he was in that Leicester championship side before Chelsea obviously grabbed him I mean

00:25Chelsea make a lot of big signings a lot of signings in general as well but you know to

00:30invest straight away in him was a massive statement at the time to come down to Everton now just after

00:36a couple of seasons of being at Chelsea I mean that's a fantastic signing really on paper he's

00:40got Premier League experience and hopefully he can bolster this side I mean how sort of excited are

00:48you for Everton's new signings to come make an impact because there are still some areas that

00:53might need some improvement? Yeah I mean based off Keenan Dewsbury Hall's first appearance against

01:00Roma in the friendly really really impressive player who is cultured, comfortable on the ball

01:07makes things happen I mean he's always so positive he just wants to get on the ball and try and get

01:13the ball moving forward and would take it in tight areas happily as you say it didn't work out for him

01:19in the Chelsea but maybe it was just a little bit of a step too far too soon in terms of he'd just won the

01:26he played for Leicester obviously in Premier League before he'd won the championship Leicester and then

01:30he was going to a team who that was probably Chelsea's strongest area of the pitch wasn't in midfield

01:36with Keis Edo and Enzo Fernandes, Cole Palmer playing in the tent

01:41it was going to be difficult for him to get game time but he did play a lot in the conference league

01:47he did play his part in the Club World Cup triumph as well for Chelsea but it's a really good sign

01:54and 25 million is a real good fear thing for a player who will no doubt be a regular starter this season

02:03you would suspect can play in multiple positions as well and play just off the striker against

02:09against Roma but you can definitely see him playing deeper as well if needed

02:13a bit of a difficult summer for Everton which I'm sure we're going to come on to but

02:18the business so far it's been fine

02:23Charlie Alcaraz made sense signing on a permanent deal

02:29I think a lot of clubs have been struggling to sign strikes this summer and Everton knew they were probably going to be

02:37down the Pesson order in terms of what ones they could bring to Merseyside

02:42and they've decided to go for one who they think has a lot of potential

02:47scored goals in La Liga so he has top plate experience and yeah they showed good signs as well against Roma

02:55Mark Travers has come in in gold, deputized for Jordan Pickford

03:01clearly David Moyes wants a little bit of competition there because David Moyes probably because of when and got a free transfer in

03:08instead he wanted someone who he thinks can probably try and push Jordan Pickford

03:13Adamas knew that the left back

03:16I'm glad to see Evan get a left back

03:18in because for too long they've only has one

03:20reallowing out option in Vitaly Mikhellenko

03:23they've signed Asnu on potential

03:25he looked good against Man Utd and they're friendly there

03:36what's needed to certain games

03:37if you've gone away to an Arsenal or a Liverpool

03:39you play Mikhellenko

03:40if you play in a home against a Burnley

03:44you know it might be

03:46more difficult to break down than your player has to

03:49but yeah, Evan's business is definitely not done yet

03:53and what we all knew was going to be a significant summer
