After a two-year hiatus we're back at Camelford Show. Join us as we take a look around and see what's been going on.
00:18
Good morning everyone. Welcome to Camelford Show. We feel honoured to be your president for the 2025 show.
00:25
We would like to thank all exhibitors, judges, trade stands, etc. for coming and hope you will have a very successful day.
00:33
The wonderful committee of stewards and helpers who have been here for several days and evenings to get the show field ready.
00:39
And of course to you, the general public, for coming to support us. We hope you will have a lovely day as I am sure we will.
00:46
We now declare the 170th Camelford Agricultural Show open. Thank you.
00:55
I just wanted to say how nice, really nice it is to see Camelford Show backing up and running.
01:10
It's nice that the weather is dry. Nice to see how busy it is. And hopefully you have a good day and a long way the show continues.
01:16
Welcome you all to the Handicraft and Horticultural Marquis and welcome our Vice Presidents David and Pam Langley.
01:21
Who will be presenting all of the trophies to all of the worthy winners.
01:26
On behalf of the show committee, I would like to thank you all for your support today.
01:31
On our first full show back on the show field and what a day we are all having.
02:03
the marquee are full with wonderful produce and handmade exhibits and we are up on entries from
02:09
previous years and there are also lots of new people that have had a go and joined us this year
02:14
so we welcome you to our show. The children's entries are so fabulous as always and each year
02:21
I always comment on the children's exhibits and again they amaze me at just how beautiful they
02:27
all are. I tend to put the categories together each year at the beginning of January and I hope to
02:34
inspire each and every one of the children with my class titles and as you can see today the children
02:39
have excelled themselves so thank you. The adult section again has brought many many wonderful
02:45
items to this marquee. The handicraft, the art, the vegetable and the flower produce along with the
02:51
photographers that are very keen out there have come together and made some fantastic entries so
02:56
again I do thank each and every one of you and congratulations to everyone who has entered
03:02
whether you've had a prize card or not each and every one of you are worthy of being here and showing
03:08
your exhibits on our show bench so thank you and long may this continue keep coming back.
03:15
All of our judges had a wonderful morning here in the marquee and said it was tough job but they
03:20
were very impressed by each and every one of the exhibits on the show bench so we are very very
03:25
grateful to you all thank you very much.
