US Vice President JD Vance delivers a bold message to American troops stationed at RAF Fairford, England, claiming that the US and UK “win every war” they fight together. Speaking ahead of President Trump’s high-stakes Alaska summit with Vladimir Putin, Vance emphasized the strength of the US-UK alliance and warned that adversaries are “afraid” of American military power. 00:00We have worked with our friends from the United Kingdom to achieve great victories.
00:05And if you look at the long sweep of history, every time something big happens for the world,
00:10every time a great victory is won for freedom and for peace and for prosperity,
00:17it is almost always the Brits and the Americans that do it together.
00:22And we win every single time we go to war together.
00:25You guys know that as well as anybody.
00:27World War I to our operations against terrorists in Yemen.
00:32The history of this base, of its mission, of all of the things that we've done with our friends from the United Kingdom,
00:39it is a very, very proud tradition.
00:41We have done so much with our English friends, with our friends from the UK.
00:45We are going to make it our mission as an administration to bring peace to Europe once again.
00:50You make it possible for us to accomplish the president's goals through negotiation.
00:55You make it possible for us to go into a room and say, yes, we want peace.
01:01Yes, we want to work together.
01:02Yes, we'd like to bring an end to this terrible conflict.
01:05But we've also got some great airmen.
01:07Please, airmen, at ease.
01:08It's good to be here with you.
01:09Please have a seat.
01:11I see we have some beautiful families out there.
01:13You know, I served a few years in the Marine Corps, and I've got to say, I'm pretty jealous.
01:18This is a pretty fine duty station, if I do say so myself.
01:22This is a beautiful country.
01:23I've just spent the past few days here, actually.
01:26Some meetings, some downtime with the family.
01:29We've had a very, very good time here in England.
01:32The United Kingdom, of course, is one of our great allies,
01:34so I think I speak for all the Pathfinders here.
01:37Is that right?
01:38What I say?
01:40And all the Red Dragon folks as well?
01:45What I say that we are proud of the special relationship,
01:48and we are proud to work together with our British friends right here at Fairford Base.
01:53God bless you all.
01:55So, here's a simple thing.
01:57We've got a beautiful country here.
01:59We've got a beautiful alliance.
02:01And I think every single one of you know that for over 100 years,
02:05we have worked with our friends from the United Kingdom to achieve great victories.
02:10And if you look at the long sweep of history,
02:13every time something big happens for the world,
02:16every time a great victory is won for freedom and for peace and for prosperity,
02:23it is almost always the Brits and the Americans that do it together.
02:27And we win every single time we go to war together.
02:31You guys know that as well as anybody.
02:33But it's not just about going to war and it's not just winning when we do.
02:37When we work together, when we fight together,
02:39when we make it clear that we always approach every situation with an open hand,
02:45but if things go poorly, we're willing to do what we have to do.
02:49We make it easier to achieve peace and prosperity all over the world.
02:53So I want to say from all of us back home in the United States,
02:57for all the people that you serve with, that you fight for,
03:01that you make it possible to live the American dream and peace and prosperity,
03:05we are proud of you.
03:06We are grateful for you.
03:08And as your vice president, I am damn proud to be here with you today.
03:11God bless every single one of you.
03:13Now, it would be impossible for me to list every single thing that has happened
03:29just from this single base over the past hundred years,
03:32from World War I to our operations against terrorists in Yemen.
03:37The history of this base, of its mission,
03:40of all of the things that we've done with our friends from the United Kingdom,
03:44it is a very, very proud tradition.
03:46So I won't try to list everything that we've done,
03:48but you guys know the mission, you guys know the story,
03:51and you guys know the history.
03:53We have done so much with our English friends,
03:55with our friends from the UK.
03:57And, you know, I started the day, or excuse me,
04:01I started the week in a place called Chevening
04:03with the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom,
04:06further south in the country, in a county called Kent.
04:10And what we did is we worked on our,
04:12one of our most important shared security goals in Europe,
04:15which is the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
04:20The President of the United States came in six months ago,
04:22and I just talked to him right before I came on the stage,
04:25and he said very simply that we are going to make it our mission
04:28as an administration to bring peace to Europe once again.
04:31But as you all know, it is impossible to bring peace anywhere
04:35unless the bad guys are all so worried
04:38that we've got a hell of a fine Air Force
04:40and a hell of a fine military to back up the peace to begin with.
04:44So what you guys do,
04:46even though you may not see it every single day,
04:48is you make it possible.
04:50You make it possible for us
04:51to accomplish the President's goals through negotiation.
04:54You make it possible for us to go into a room and say,
04:57yes, we want peace.
05:00Yes, we want to work together.
05:01Yes, we'd like to bring an end to this terrible conflict.
05:04But we've also got some great airmen
05:06back at Fairford and other bases
05:08that are going to make sure that no matter what happens,
05:11the peace and the prosperity
05:12and the goals of the American people
05:14are going to be well served by what you do.
05:17So I think if you look back at the last six months,
05:21if you look back at the number of lives
05:23that we've saved in Rwanda and the Congo,
05:25the President ended a 30-year war there.
05:28If you look at what we've done in the East Asia,
05:31where the President ended a conflict,
05:33in Serbia, Kosovo,
05:34where the President has brought peace
05:36to that area of the world,
05:37and now in just a couple of days
05:39with the President heading to Anchorage, Alaska
05:41to try to achieve and end to this terrible war
05:44in Russia and Ukraine,
05:46you guys make that possible.
05:48You guys are the reason
05:49why we can go into a negotiation with strength.
05:52You guys are the reason
05:53why we have leverage
05:54in these conversations with world leaders
05:56because they know that if we cut a deal,
05:59it is backed up by the finest fighting force
06:02anywhere in the world.
06:04And that is what makes your job so important,
06:07and that's what makes it so important
06:09and such a proud moment
06:10for me to be here with you today
06:12because nothing that I do,
06:14nothing that we do as an administration
06:16is possible without the hard work,
06:18the courage,
06:20and the skill
06:21that you guys bring to the job.
06:23Now, I mentioned earlier
06:24I was at Chevening meeting
06:25with the British Foreign Secretary.
06:27I've met with a number of foreign leaders
06:29just in the last, actually, hour.
06:32I had a call with about 30 European leaders,
06:35and over the past couple of days,
06:37I've met with a number of leaders
06:38across the UK,
06:39across political parties,
06:41across the generations,
06:42because that's one of the great things
06:43about the UK's special relationship
06:46with the United States is
06:47it cuts across political alliances,
06:50it cuts across political parties,
06:52it cuts across generations,
06:53because we've been working together
06:55for literally centuries.
06:57And you know what every single person
06:59that I meet often tells me?
07:01They tell me about how impressed they are
07:03by the skill, by the determination,
07:06and by the dedication
07:07of the American military.
07:10You all are what make it possible
07:12for us to do what we do.
07:14When Marco Rubio,
07:15our great Secretary of State,
07:16goes to engage
07:17in some diplomatic negotiation,
07:19he knows that he's got
07:20the great people
07:21of the Secretary of Defense
07:22standing behind him.
07:23And that fact,
07:24the fact that people are impressed by you,
07:26the fact that so many people
07:27are frankly afraid of you,
07:29is why we're able to do
07:31what we do as an administration.
07:33So I just want to say
07:35from the President of the United States,
07:36who again I just spoke to
07:37and he told me to give you this message,
07:39we're proud of you,
07:40we're grateful to you,
07:41we know that it's not always
07:43an easy job,
07:44we know there are often long hours,
07:45but I hope you know
07:46that the peace and the prosperity
07:48and the safety of your countrymen
07:50depend on you doing a good job
07:53and we are damn proud
07:55of the job that you do
07:56every single day.
07:57God bless you all
07:58and thank you for having me,
07:59your Vice President,
07:59here in the UK.
08:09Download the One India app now.

08:13Bye-bye.
08:14Bye-bye.
08:29Bye-bye.
08:31Bye-bye.
