Deter car thieves with these anti-theft devices

00:00Quite old school, nice bright yellow.

00:02Got these things which I would call a club lock.

00:05You take this, you put it onto your steering wheel

00:08and it just stops your steering wheel being turned.

00:10Criminals come and look in your car, they'll see this

00:11and they'll hopefully move on.

00:13It works like a deterrent.

00:14An OBD port.

00:15This OBD port goes into the port of your car.

00:18What you do is you plug this little part in

00:20and then this goes over the top with some screws on it

00:23and then people can't then access the port of your car,

00:26like clone your keys and start your car without you being in it.

00:28An engine immobiliser just sits in your car.

00:31You take this out and that kills the battery

00:33and then you plug that back in,

00:35your battery starts and you can start your car again.

00:38Anti-theft screws.

00:39So you can pick these up from Bunnings, which is quite good.

00:41You just need to know what sort of screws you need for your car.

00:43You get them, put them on,

00:44they need a special screwdriver in order to be undone.
