DADLAY, 27, from Sydney, is 97% covered in tattoos and has spent over $100k on his body suit so far, showing no signs of stopping! Dadlay loves getting tattooed so much that he has even had some of his inkings lasered off to start all over again... Dadlay told Transformed: "I will not stop getting tattooed, let's get to $200k! In total, I've spent up to 500 hours in the chair getting inked, and I think I'm only 60% of the way there to my perfect look." Dadlay knew from a young age that he wanted to be tattooed, so it was inevitable for him to get covered head to toe. Dadlay's look has, however, caused a few issues with this father. Dadlay said: "Me and my dad fight all the time, I absolutely love him, but it's not going to stop me from getting more tattoos... Sorry Dad! Let's get tattooed!" Today, after revealing his latest inking on his back, Dadlay has another shock in store for his family, but this time they won't see it coming... With the help of makeup artist Rachel, Dadlay will be covering all of his tattoos to give everybody, including his young son, the shock of their lives! But the question is, will they love or hate the new tattoo-less Dadlay? Will Dadlay's father realise he's grown to love the tattoos after all?

00:00I'm 97% covered in tattoos and my dad absolutely hates it.
00:03I want the artistic look, I want people to look at me and be like, wow, he's beautiful
00:07in the sense of art.
00:08My dad actually didn't speak to me for about three weeks.
00:11The face, I just look at him and go, why?
00:14I'm not harming anyone, I just get tattooed.
00:17My dad despises my tattoos, so today we are covering them all up.
00:22My tattoos are a big part of my identity, huge to be honest, so I don't know how I'm
00:27going to feel when they're gone.
00:28Oh my god!
00:31You look like a rubber stopper.
00:36Yeah.
00:37Who does he look like?
00:39The Grinch?
00:40The Grinch.
00:41Hello, hello, welcome.
00:43Lovely to meet you.
00:44My name's Rachel.
00:45Brandon, lovely to meet you.
00:46Nice to meet you.
00:47Come on inside.
00:49So excited.
00:50Good, good, good.
00:51My name's Dadlay, I'm 27 years of age, I'm a dad, covering tattoos.
00:55I would describe my look as very dark, now prominent, gothic.
01:00I say aesthetically pleasing.
01:02I spent over 100k on tattoos and I will not stop.
01:08Let's get to 200.
01:10My son Tommy absolutely adores my tattoos, man.
01:13He tells me I'm going to get a spider on my chest, Dad.
01:15I'm going to get this on my face, Dad.
01:17Me and my Dad fight all the time.
01:20I absolutely love him.
01:21It's not going to stop me from getting any tattoo.
01:23When he first started, it was okay.
01:25It was different, but now the face, I just look at him and go, why?
01:33Why?
01:34But it's done.
01:35My latest tattoo is my back tattoo.
01:38He hasn't seen any of that.
01:39Okay, so we've got more, have we?
01:40We've got more on this spotty where we're going to fit them all in.
01:43You guys want to see?
01:44Yeah, why not? Show us what else you've got.
01:47So, what do you think?
01:49Okay.
01:51Just do your ears and you're done.
01:53Any other bonus ones, Brent?
01:55No, there's not. Please, there's not. That's it.
01:58There's more?
01:59Other than my face and back, dude, that's about it for now.
02:02For now.
02:03For now, yeah.
02:04Sorry, Dad. I always get tattoos.
02:07Today, I'll be covering Brendan's tattoos.
02:10So, we'll be using waterproof foundation.
02:13You can wear the makeup for a week and it won't come off.
02:16Brendan, did you want to come?
02:18Let's get started.
02:19So, the coral's going to be the layer for the tattoo.
02:22And then we do an extra layer.
02:24And then we'll go in with a light skin colour.
02:31So, where'd you get your tattoos from?
02:32Ah, my first tattoo I ever got was in Ryde.
02:35That was a mistake because that's all covered now.
02:38My first tattoo, I was 17 years old.
02:40It was pursuit of happiness around my ankle.
02:43Mum actually took me.
02:44It was supposed to be an early 18th birthday present.
02:47Dad had no idea.
02:49So, we actually kept that one a secret, me and Mum.
02:51Yeah, Mum fed me a little bit,
02:53which sent me down this rabbit hole of awesome tattoos.
02:57So, what did your dad first say to you when you came home with your head tattoos?
03:02Oh, head tattoos.
03:03I wasn't actually living at home when I got my head tattooed.
03:05But, it's all been a rough ride, I'll tell you that much.
03:10Dad kicked me up the first time.
03:12Tried to mend things with him the whole time.
03:16And then promised him I'd never get another one.
03:19I did.
03:20My parents kind of came to terms with things when they kind of realised that I wasn't going to stop.
03:25It's already like, you can't see a hundred percent, but jeez, I've already got that.
03:30My little brother Preston, I kind of sent him in a direction of getting tattoos as well.
03:35He's covered.
03:36Now I want us to go get his neck done, face done.
03:38Mum and Dad blame me for it all the time.
03:40I might have to hire you every two weeks, so I can get him to clubs and what not.
03:44Oh, they don't let you into clubs?
03:46Nah, nah, nowhere.
03:47Nowhere?
03:48Yeah, nah, here in Australia, I'm not allowed in anywhere.
03:51Even pubs.
03:52When I first started getting tattooed, everyone was like, dude, you're going to wreck every
03:56job opportunity you have, you know, you're never going to get this job, that job.
03:59We're going to build up the skin colour, so he won't be orange for long.
04:03I get judged daily, and you do notice that I'll watch people cross the road or walk the
04:08complete opposite direction.
04:09And you have all the old people who, at the start, think you're a delinquent.
04:13I could not care about anyone's opinion on me whatsoever.
04:17Can I turn it back now, mate?
04:19I know.
04:20I know, right?
04:21At least it's temporary.
04:22This is waterproof.
04:23Are you going to hate me?
04:24Because it's not going to come off?
04:26I do look like an oop-oop-oop.
04:29So we're now doing the final touch of inside his eyes.
04:34Well, my son won't recognise me at all.
04:38Definitely be shocked.
04:39Hey, tell me.
04:40Tell me.
04:41Do you love your daddy's tattoos?
04:44Yeah.
04:45Tell me about that.
04:46Which one's your favourite?
04:48It's my one.
04:49We're just about done.
04:51We'll go inside and we'll reveal you to your family.
04:54Are you ready?
04:55A bit nervous, but, yeah.
04:57Well, this is me with nose-how-do's.
05:02Oh my god.
05:07Yeah.
05:08You look like a bumper stumper.
05:09Oh my god.
05:10Yeah.
05:11Mmm.
05:12Big difference, isn't it?
05:13Your legs.
05:14Tony, what do you think?
05:15Your legs.
05:16I don't like it.
05:18Dude, how freaky is it?
05:20I don't like it.
05:21Who does he look like?
05:23The Grinch.
05:24Grinch.
05:25Grinch.
05:26What do you think, bro?
05:27What do you think, bro?
05:28Yeah, he's like me with the tattoos, don't you?
05:33Bro, I started realise how skinny you look.
05:34I don't mind your arms without me.
05:36I like my legs.
05:37I don't like your legs without them.
05:39I have my son back with no tattoos.
05:42You don't like it.
05:43Wow.
05:44Good.
05:45That's what I said.
05:46I said, good.
05:47I'm glad you don't like it.
05:48What about the face, Tony?
05:49What about the face?
05:50No.
05:51Do you want to go take a look, Tony?
05:52Come here.
05:53Are you ready for the big reveal?
05:56Honestly, no.
05:57But go.
05:58Alright.
05:59One.
06:00Two.
06:01Three.
06:02Oh my God.
06:03I don't like it.
06:04You don't like it?
06:05No.
06:06No.
06:07Give me all my tattoos back.
06:08Give me all my tattoos back.
06:09Not at all?
06:10No.
06:11No.
06:12Not my face the slightest.
06:14Oh, we can even see wrinkles.
06:15I know.
06:16No.
06:17No.
06:18No.
06:19No.
06:20No.
06:21No.
06:22I just like my lower half.
06:27My upper.
06:28My...
06:29Give me all my tattoos back.
06:30I do not like it.
06:31Face?
06:32Yeah.
06:33Face and all.
06:34Oh.
06:35You feel bare?
06:36Yeah.
06:37Too bare.
06:38I think from far it's good, but up close.
06:41Nah, it's just...
06:42You look different because you look bald.
06:44I love the face.
06:45I love the clear face.
06:46You just look good.
06:47But I...
06:48I think the neck and the arms...
06:49I don't mind.
06:50Don't get me wrong.
06:51It was myself before, but I'm definitely not used to it.
06:54It's a real shock.
06:55Yeah.
06:56Actually, you know what I do like?
06:57The only one thing...
06:58I really like my jaw.
07:03I wish I had it back.
07:04Just a little bit.
07:05Bottom half?
07:06I actually don't mind it.
07:07Top half?
07:08Nah, it's not a look for me.
07:09If I woke up like this tomorrow, I would book a tattoo straight away and go get my whole
07:12face blasted again.
07:13Sorry mum and sorry dad, but nah, I don't like this look whatsoever.
07:17Now that he looks bald and looks different, but his actual arms and legs...
07:21It's perfect.
07:22That's what it should be like.
07:24His face.
07:25You can see his face again.
07:26I think dad did come to terms with it more, which is good.
07:28Great seeing his reaction.
07:29I'm glad I did this because it's going to make me appreciate my tattoos a lot more.
07:33My tattoos actually have to do a lot with who I have become as a person in the last 10
07:38years.
07:39Seeing myself with no tattoos, it does make me feel naked.
07:42I feel not myself.
07:44Tommy's only ever really seen me with tattoos, so I knew his reaction would be a bit full
07:49on.
07:50I'm actually glad he had that reaction because now I know he loves me for who I am.
08:03What's going on?
08:04I was going to do.
08:05I know that he was good at the time, but I haven't done anything.
08:06I don't have to follow him.
08:07I'm going to do anything wrong.
08:08There's a reason.
08:09I don't know.
08:10I think he just gave me some stuff, which is good.
08:11But he's good at the time.
08:12I think he's good at the time.
08:13I'm going to do something.
08:14You are uh...
08:15I think he's sure.
08:16I'm going to do something.
08:18I think he wants to do anything.
08:19I think he's going to do something else.
08:20After that, he's going.
08:21He's going to be a super PACA.
08:22He's going to have my posture.
08:23I think the way you can do it.
08:24He's looking at him.
08:25He's going to be a bitiest.
