Candied cheese crackers? Don’t knock it till you try it! In this video, Nicole shows you how to combine sweet and salty flavors with this recipe for candied cheez-its. Coated in a buttery brown sugar glaze, the cheez-its are baked in the oven for around an hour before they’re ready to be served as your next crowd-pleasing party snack.

00:00I'm making candied Cheez-Its.
00:02Don't knock it till you try it.
00:03Start by combining butter, brown sugar, corn syrup,
00:06and salt.
00:07Bring this mixture to a simmer,
00:08stirring often until the sugar is dissolved,
00:09and then turn off the heat.
00:10Stir in baking soda,
00:11and then quickly pour it over Cheez-It Crackers.
00:13Then you're gonna bake this in the oven
00:15for about an hour at 250 degrees,
00:17and you wanna stir it every 15 minutes or so.
00:19You have to let this cool completely,
00:21and then it turns into candy.
00:24Mm.
00:25Every time I eat something sweet,
00:26I always wanna follow it with something salty,
00:28and vice versa.
00:29This is like a two-for-one special.
