00:02:32Tonight is the home of World Championship Wrestling and WCW Monday Nitro.
00:02:40For three hours, with your ringside, with the superstars of World Championship Wrestling,
00:02:46Tony Schiavone, the one, the only, Bobby the Brain Heenan.
00:02:51Last night at Fall Brawl, we were going in wondering the answer to the question,
00:02:56who do you trust? Who's telling a lie?
00:02:59Well, the man we know that you cannot trust is the man who is the new heavyweight champion of the world,
00:03:05Sting, who brutally attacked Hulk Hogan and turned his back on all the fans.
00:03:10Well, I always thought Sting was like that. Now he's going to be a better wrestler.
00:03:14Nine times now, heavyweight champion of the world. You watch. You watch.
00:03:18You're going to see a new Sting like you've never seen before.
00:03:20We know the world champion is here, but Sting is the only tip of the iceberg from last night at Fall Brawl.
00:03:26A new United States heavyweight champion. It is Big Sid Vicious now at 80-0 as well.
00:03:33Oh, what a big man. I made a comment that he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
00:03:36I didn't mean the man was stupid. I mean, you can't trust this man.
00:03:39He can beat you many different ways. He's not wrapped too tight. He's loose, and he's dangerous.
00:03:44Harlem Heat becomes the world tag team champions for the ninth time in their glorious career.
00:03:49Nine times to become world's tag team championship. That's something unheard of.
00:03:54What is unheard of is what Sting did last night. We'll talk more about that, show you some of what went down last night at Fall Brawl.
00:04:01But remember last week when Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko went at it one-on-one to determine who would have a title shot this week on Monday Nitro?
00:04:09Well, here's what happened, and it all happened at the hands of Big Sid Vicious one week ago.
00:04:14For all their hard work, who's going to prevail? Who's going to be the man to go on?
00:04:21To face the world champion next Monday.

00:04:29Good move by Malenko. He held on to him, brought him back into the ring, but it was Benoit who got the advantage.

00:05:39Since that time, World Championship Wrestling has had many meetings, and they have come to a decisive decision on this whole matter,
00:05:48and that is that tonight, Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko will wrestle one more time.

00:06:21And what a way to start off Nitro tonight with a match like this.
00:06:24You know, it could have gone either way last week, until, like you said, Sid got himself involved.

00:06:36It's very, very difficult to pick a winner, and we're picking winners here tonight, though,

00:34:27And as we expected in the matchup, these two men would go at it, giving it their all.

00:34:35And you know, Brain, we had all the remnants of a great match early on in that telecast, didn't we?
00:34:41Oh, they went at each other.
00:34:42They took their time.
00:34:44They wanted to see what the other man was going to do.
00:34:47It was a good match.
00:34:47It was a great match.
00:34:48But then it all broke down near the end.
00:34:50Hulk Hogan using his power.
00:34:52It went on the outside as we anticipated with both men going at it tooth and nail.
00:34:57Hogan trying everything he could to retain the world title like he told us he was going to do.
00:35:02He kept saying, this is all to try to keep the gold belt that means so much to everyone around my waist.
00:35:07And Hogan really had it going his way.
00:35:10But then, of course, we were talking about who do you trust?
00:35:13Sting with some great moves as well.
00:35:15Splashing Hogan with a big stinger splash.
00:35:17Hogan came away late in the match with a big leg drop, going for the win.
00:35:21But then out comes Diamond Dallas Page, and it all breaks down.

00:35:28And it all ended up with Sting using the baseball bat and winning the world heavyweight title.

00:38:57And they're like, oh, and then they get real happy because it's not that many people that speak and hear that take the time to learn sign language as well.
