20:45star product we have isn't priced as the ring the ring is much more volume wise they need to sell a
20:50couple of rings and they'll hit big numbers for us we need to sell a lot of air fryers 18 functions in
20:56one okay it's healthy it's easy yeah it basically fulfills every purpose showing off their bling this is

37:39one of my favorite tasks TV selling very simple select products sell them live on television on this
38:00particular task I had the advantage of watching every move that you made because I watched you live on TV
38:08and no parts going in EastEnders or anything like that for sure well let's start with diverse shall we
38:18actually you put yourself forward as the project manager about a week or so ago so what was the
38:25criteria for choosing the product firstly they were solving a problem so I went with the steamer I
38:31thought that was mass market a lot of people relate to it went with a portable massager as well
38:36everyone has pain that looked quite good that product yeah I watched you use that yeah when
38:41with this very unique cream it's a snail cream how did them get all this mucus they put them on a
38:45treadmill or something or what um 80 quid a pop apparently yeah 80 pounds and I thought this
38:51product is maybe I should invest 250 grand in snail snot yeah I like the uniqueness I think it solves a
38:58problem people looked younger got rid of wrinkles and had a great backstory yeah okay so what was the
39:04star buyer that you went for so we actually wanted to go with the ring we showed a lot of passion during
39:10the conversation so when we spoke to Raghu the rings he got yeah so when we spoke to Raghu and
39:15asked him why they got it they said that they have experience selling jewelry actually it was their
39:19charm and passion we were showing so much passion and interest I was actually really shocked that we
39:24didn't get the ring wasn't enough though was it yeah in terms of my personal opinion I wasn't happy the
39:29fact that we lost the ring in a jewelry channel big setback anyway you didn't get it no unfortunately
39:34we didn't get it so we were so you went for the next thing which was the air fryer yeah it's got the
39:3918-1 functions we just thought there was more um kind of 18 what functions 18 and 1 functions and
39:45we also thought obviously um people are trying to eat healthy and so that could also be another USP
39:54okay so on day two actually you are in the gallery as the gallery producer that's correct yeah now
40:01ladies when I was watching you were talking over each other from time to time yeah that was on the
40:06massager I was meant to leave that and Stephanie was meant to just be there to kind of demonstrate
40:10but I couldn't really get a word in in a lot of places really I was meant to just come on and be
40:14the model so I wasn't prepared to sell that at all and then actually like once or twice but you kept
40:20going and I honestly couldn't get a word in and I was meant to be leading the product but I was trying
40:24to remain professional as I knew that I mean the reason I wanted to say I don't want you silent in
40:30there it wanted to be a natural conversation one of the things they said to you talk as if you're
40:34talking to your friends yeah I mean you were quite loud at sometimes your friend deaf it was actually got
40:41louder so the louder he got I was trying to hear myself so I saw every move you made yeah including
40:47a little expletive that happened to come out from somebody was it me yes I'm sorry someone told me
40:55that afterwards I apologize for that I can't remember you remember you had a microphone still
41:00switched on sorry that was the first thing the viewer saw yeah yeah yeah yeah on the next I'm so sorry
41:05that can also affect credibility for the next product as well but how did you find me as a project
41:10manager from your opinion I think the when we were on TV and you were in Aria that was you training for
41:19this position that's the dream you're not in the bar having a little chat well anyway I mean yes the
41:27project manager I mean was he any good it was just in when we were actually presenting we did find it
41:33really difficult when we were trying to kind of say points even just like the motivation so before we
41:36went in I did say try not to say something we don't need basically and you did do that quite a lot
41:43hmm right well um Brittany yeah you always dreamed of being on TV selling and this was right up your
41:53alley that's correct when you announced the task I knew I wanted to PM straight away I've bought quite
41:58a lot of items from these type of channels and on top of that I knew that my skills would be
42:02utilized selling in this way okay who actually went through the items so Aaron and I went to the star
42:08product and I came in Harpreet went to select these small items the solar owl yeah yeah you know this
42:16flamingo thing yeah do you realize that you could buy them for about three quid or four quid at the
42:23petrol station along the seaside yeah well why'd you choose it then I just thought the flamingo really
42:29stood out it could be a fun product and it could be an impulse buy I just thought it would pop on TV
42:34hmm star product was the ring yes that's right and we knew the air fries would be popular at the
42:42moment for selling but I took a risk and went high ticket and decided to go with the ring for the star
42:46product all right let's move on to the next day when you two first came on you look very nervous it
42:53looked like it was marriage counseling yeah as well in fact the owl looked more relaxed than you you two
42:59yeah I was watching you talking about this owl and he says it's handmade handmade with a hand I tell you
43:16only one of the problems I had repetition okay I mean apart for it being handmade with a hand that you
43:24needed some more kind of assistance and who was doing the owl so that was me I was providing a
43:30lot of the unique selling points so I was feeding that in which was extremely important I will be
43:35honest when we initially found out the products and we were trying to be like okay what information do
43:38you have for us to be able to sell them there wasn't very much on any item I feel that specifically for
43:43the owl that we actually provided quite a bit of information so what did you tell me then so it was
43:48durable it was weather resistant it was solar powered yeah I think in hindsight we could have
43:56found out a little more yeah so I understand that Harpreet being Harpreet from what I heard kind of ended
44:02up taking over the gallery totally um I think that we had actually yeah I think yeah yeah I thought that
44:11we collaborated quite well actually so well you can collaborate if you shut up and let her get on
44:16with it that's good collaboration um I feel like that we definitely just shared the roles quite
44:22equally especially when we switch yeah you were quiet and she was noisy um I felt that I was perhaps
44:28a little bit more composed but at the end of the day the the aim is just to get the job done and I
44:34think if you've got something valid to say just say it all right so anyway you then went on Aaron to sell
44:40the bedding yeah yeah the irony of it was you could have given him the bedding and he could put his
44:45three pillars in it and the other thing was Aaron you said that the only thing that you don't get
44:52with his bed set is me in it goodness the thought of you in it would have dropped the price down to
44:58nothing it'll end up and yeah it's not one of it's not my finest hour it's sales isn't it a little bit
45:05carried away right anyway let's see how we all did you may have expectations of what you think you sold
45:16but as you know people change their minds so these are the real confirmed sales figures from the
45:24shopping channel so Karen perhaps you can tell me your final results of your team oh well Alan um not
45:34all of the bids went through including two of their style product the airfryer but they did sell a lot of
45:39products 83 products across the hour total sales 2089 pounds and 17 minutes okay and Tim what about
45:49your team well infinity also had a few problems in terms of confirmed sales not all of the bids went
45:55through including free sales of the ring so across the hour they sold 56 products totaling two thousand five
46:04hundred and forty four pins it's four hundred and eleven pounds difference hmm okay well for your treat

46:42and as you know at least one of you will be leaving the process today off you go nine tasks eight wins and I
47:03finally got a win at p.m. under my belt so I am literally so so happy on this task I've got the
47:16most sales so it really really filled me with a lot of confidence if I can sell a blow up flamingo to
47:22millions of people on TV then I think I've done a good job today I think Lord Sugar recognizes that
47:34I'm a strong leader and if you know what you're doing and you know exactly the perfect way to win
47:39and succeed you should be able to bark out orders we lost by 900 pounds and I would say yeah you know
47:55what it was the star product that did it but if we change the minimums of some of the products then
47:59we could have made up that 400 pounds losing out on that ring has cost us this task we have lost out
48:04because of that negotiation when it came to actually selling I did sense you panicked a little
48:09bit you were going on and on in my ear and I couldn't I wasn't going on and on firstly I can
48:13clarify that you were in panic mode I was not in power other people said they could Catherine could
48:17hear you I do think actually is quite big on lay and blame other people but actually this was the
48:21one opportunity that he had to project manager task and show that he can lead a team and win a team
48:26and he hasn't done that I did feel throughout Lily the whole of my product I didn't want to speak in
48:31that feels like you did but can we just say I don't know that's a fundamental issue to this talk
48:35yeah well it could have been because we could have sold probably a lot more had it not been a mess
48:38I thought my massager pitch was really unprofessional it was messy and I think that did impact the sales
48:56yes could you send me three of them in place
49:01okay well you ladies you were unable to convince the seller of the ring to choose you he gave it
49:19to the other team not that they set the world alight they sold one but that one changed the whole game
49:27gave that we sold more units as well one because it was eight hundred and ninety nine pounds I think
49:32they got for it or something like that obviously just say with that if our products had a higher
49:35price point that maybe we could have caught up the money elsewhere so if we didn't drop to that
49:41lowest price as the other team didn't we could have closed that gap we wouldn't have had as much
49:45volume and also you could have picked the star product as the project manager do you want me to
49:49pick the best four products to be honest I'd love to do everything by myself right I said that I was
49:56happy to do what you did you would love to do everything by yourself in this task definitely
50:01yeah but we could have to see after seeing the results of how it's performed actually you always
50:05say that you think you can do better but you never put yourself in the position to test against
50:09why couldn't we have chosen those four products well Catherine on the massager the company told Karen
50:16that normally when the massager goes on at that time of night they sell around about 85 correct you
50:24sold four I really struggled with that Lord sugar just because I felt like I couldn't speak I felt like
50:29it was a constant battle with Stephanie trying to get what I was trying to say out that was never the
50:34plan can I just add to that like in that situation that was a losing situation for me I'm getting
50:39told by Catherine I spoke too much but I've got actually me a going Stephanie can you please say
50:42something so how do I said it about once or twice definitely you were constantly you wouldn't even
50:47let me say that I think I'm trying to know about the sales no not at all not at all I just felt it
50:51was very messy if actually said don't speak I would not have said a word in that whole thing carrying
50:57on and go in and get you he also didn't tell me to stop so where's there's no guidance there to tell me
51:00when to stop or when to start well look Stephanie you you you were responsible for selling the clothes
51:06steamer right yeah you know I saw you like virtually screaming it was because actually honestly it was
51:12so loud in my ear I was not screaming or shouting believe me I was not panicking I weren't talking a
51:18lot one of your great strengths you're saying your CV is to remain calm on this task you're about as
51:23calm as basil 40 but that's something that I would turn people off that screaming really it was I
51:30understand what you're saying but honestly it was so hard to just hear myself think I had to like go
51:35louder because you were just I thought you were panicking we can't think you won't let us finish I
51:40disagree with that I was coming there I was speaking a lot okay okay okay I've I've had enough of
51:49listening to this I think it's time for me to have a chat with Karen and Tim and then you're going to
51:57come back in here and you're going to tell me why you should remain in this process gone I'll see you

53:01yeah never mind a season ticket I'm thinking of putting a a plaque up on the wall actually
53:07Thakwa was here in 2022 yeah what would you say if you had to tell me about your claim to fame for
53:16your nine weeks in this process in terms of my individual performance I have shown that I can
53:21negotiate I can sell on each task I accept I've lost so many times except I've been at six times hmm
53:28Catherine yeah in the nine weeks you've been here what do you think you're what's your claim to fame if you had to
53:35tell me so on the first task I put myself forward when no one else did want to everyone trust me to be a
53:40leader that's why I've been a sub team leader and a leader five times people trust me because they know
53:44that I'm good at what I do right okay well let's talk to you Stephanie shall we you know I've done a lot of
53:51sales throughout this process many times I have been top seller and you know I am a valued team member I'm not in
53:57here a lot of times despite you know being on losing teams because people do think that I have
54:01you know good things to contribute hmm yeah actually if you were me who would you get rid of
54:08my personal opinion is I think Stephanie's responsible why explain she was sub PM you've got great sales
54:15experience we lost the star product I think you panicked when selling you swore on camera that's
54:20unprofessional I think you're trying to say I'm swearing is the fundamental no it's not fun and at the same
54:25time what you're saying is that she was trying to distract you I only said once or twice Stephanie
54:30say something so it doesn't seem like I did do 37 units of you did I feel like we could have got
54:35more massage guns had you not been distracted but we could have got more moisturizer we could have
54:40got more can I just say also who's responsible I would say had the massage gun sold war we could
54:45have done better and you honestly would not let me speak we're so unprofessional on air I think
54:50trying to put this down to the massage gun is just a little bit of a stress there's other elements but I'm just
54:54saying from my point of view I felt that I can't sell because you would not let me speak like I'm
54:58sorry that you thought that I was talking loads but I was just trying to help I was focused on selling
55:02on my end when you know someone's telling me to keep talking and then like I'm being told like where
55:06do you go with that I've had enough for listening to this bad errors made in this particular task
55:12bad errors made by all of you really Catherine you were responsible for selling the massager
55:20you only sold for previously people had sold about 84 and you actually you said in your CV you can sell
55:30cages to lions but clearly you were scared of selling wrinkle cream to women Stephanie you were sub team
55:40leader you were responsible for getting the ring and the bottom line is you didn't get it it's very hard
55:48this is difficult for me actually no smoke without fire you have lost eight out of nine tasks you're not
55:59a bad fellow but my gut feeling is telling me you're not for me so actually it is with regret that you're
56:07fired thank you more sugar I've learned so much thank you Karen thank you appreciate it in touch
56:12I've got nothing to say to you two ladies other than you need to really blossom in the next tasks go back to the house
56:25the first thing I'm gonna do when I get home is get back on my business there's so many plans so
56:51many ideas it's time to scare it up I have no idea who's coming back absolutely no idea actually
56:58is the obvious choice I think Katherine could be in a bit of trouble it was obvious that one of the
57:02major failures that they had was not secure in the ring and that is down to the girls actually
57:07obviously he's been in the bottom three five or six times if anyone was going to walk out from this
57:13is going to be action is anyone else here what happened in the boardroom was it quite intense
57:28I'm just trying to be honest yeah that was really hard what was the reason that he said that actually
57:33was fine he said you are really nice but he said my guts telling me that you're not the right business
57:39partner I'm still expecting one more to go then we're at the final five now six candidates remain the
57:50search for Lord Sugar's next business partner continues next time I want you to create a baby food tears
58:01okay we need to just stop vocalizing the image tantrums you know what you can I do a straight line it
58:08needs a complete overhaul and in the boardroom four people in what used to be the famous final five
58:14that's what you've done to me tension you're fired so the time has finally come for Akshay out and face
