Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is pushing for ICE to buy its own aircraft fleet to accelerate mass deportations, a plan that could cost up to $12 billion. The Trump administration vowed to deport one million immigrants annually, with officials arguing that ICE ownership of planes could more than double removals from 15,000 to 35,000 per month. Aviation experts estimate each aircraft costs $80–400 million. Alongside, Trump ordered the southern border wall painted black to deter illegal crossings.
