Portugal is grappling with four major wildfires in its northern and central regions, where over 2,600 firefighters have been deployed.

Authorities reported a third death since late July as soaring heat and drought worsen conditions.

00:13recalled how flames spread with terrifying speed.
00:17I was scared, I was scared.
