00:24thing to say. Who would think that you have to say that there have been no murders? And nobody

00:28can remember the last time that that's happened because all the thugs are hiding or they're

00:32being sent back to their countries or they're in jail. They needed help. They don't like to say

00:38it. I wish they'd say I need help. I wish the mayor of D.C. would say, you know, we're overridden

00:52about it. They said, oh, we're on a downtrend for 20 years. No, they're on an uptrend for

01:04of the beautiful places. And they come. They're not going to go home in a in a body bag. They're

01:08not going home in a coffin. There's been no murders since I started. And, you know, it's

01:13a terrible thing to say. Who would think that you have to say that there have been no murders?

01:16It's terrible. I wrote it this morning. I said it's hard to say this, but it's actually

01:21good news. But it's a hell of a thing to say. There have been no murders in the last week

01:25and nobody can remember the last time that that's happened. And there won't be murders

01:30because all the thugs are hiding or they're being sent back to their countries or they're

01:35in jail. And it'll only get better. Look, D.C. is a miracle what's happened. I mean, they

01:42can come up with fake numbers like the mayor's doing. Oh, no, it was going down for 20 years.

01:47You didn't live here. You know, have you been mugged? OK. D.C. was a hellhole. And now it's

01:53safe. And in fact, I put out this morning, I said, I hate to say this because it doesn't

01:58sound very good, but there have been no murders in D.C. in the last week. That's the first

02:02time in anybody's memory that you haven't had a murder in a week. And I think the mayor

02:07has to get on the ball because we have a situation. She's a nice woman. But I'll tell you what,

02:14she's got to get on the ball. We have I don't I don't want to see phony numbers. D.C.

02:19hit an all time high last year of absolute total crime. And it continued pretty bad.

02:27And then we put some strength, some strength into it, got the numbers down a little bit.

02:31But we brought in the D.C. National Guard and we coupled them with the police. And it

02:37has been amazing. Then the big question is, how long do we stay? Because if we stay, we

02:43want to make sure it doesn't come back. So we have to take care of these criminals and get

02:47a matter of you. We have we've collected hundreds of career criminals. He's a career

02:52criminal. You're not going to teach him to be nice. These are probably born that way.

02:57I don't know. But they're career criminals. They're very, very dangerous people. They

03:02would love to. They would love to be with you for a little while. They'd slap you around.

03:06But I'd put my money on this guy. He'd take them. Right. He'd take them down so quickly.

03:12He said, I don't want any part of it. No, people don't want to be that. And we're taking

03:17we have over a thousand arrests. We're taking career criminals off the streets. It's my ambition

03:24that when we're complete, we can take everybody out and you have a great, a great capital.
