00:00What's on your mind when it comes to Vrabel?
00:02What do you want to leave this interview today with and answer to?
00:07I have a full list of questions specifically about one person,
00:11Elliot Wolfe.
00:12Okay.
00:14The 2024 draft is the worst draft in my lifetime,
00:20and it's not even been a year, or a little over a year.
00:22After tomorrow, other than Drake May,
00:25there may be no one selected in that draft on this football team.
00:29But even Drake May is, like I said it last week,
00:32James could have picked Drake May.
00:34There isn't a person that is breathing that wouldn't have picked Drake May.
00:38You needed a quarterback.
00:40The two other guys that were slotted close to him went one and two,
00:44and you got Drake May at three.
00:46Great.
00:46You know, you didn't poop your pants and forget to hand the pick in,
00:49but that pick was a no-brainer.
00:52Right.
00:52There was no decision that needed to be made.
00:54Exactly.
00:54In all the other picks that they had to decide,
00:58they failed miserably.
00:59There may not be a single person from that draft class on their opening day roster.
01:03Which does, it is depressing as a fan,
01:06because it sets your organization back.
01:09Like, you're a year behind if you end up with none of those guys making your football team,
01:14essentially, or being valuable for you, you know?
01:17Right.
01:17And it's not like the drafts prior were any good.
01:19The final drafts of the end of the Belichick reign were not great.
01:21So, you now have a roster that is, you know,
01:25bereft of a middle class of any real discernible note.
01:27And then you have this team this year.
01:30And I'm just curious about, like,
01:32in what way does it benefit Mike Vrabel to have Elliott Wolfe announce to the world
01:36they'll trade a first or a second round pick for talent?
01:39See, that's just interesting to me for Vrabel.
01:41Like, that's the thing that I want to hear from him talk about.
01:45Like, you clearly need help on this football team, certain positions.
01:50You're willing to give up a first and second round draft pick.
01:53Are you picking up the phone?
01:54Are you having real conversations with Cincinnati, Washington, Dallas?
02:01Or where are you going when it comes to that?
02:04Yeah.
02:05I mean, if Elliott Wolfe is the GM and is suggesting that he's willing to give up
02:11whatever he needs to give up, then I would expect that there's a deal that gets done.
02:17But it doesn't seem like there's going to be.
02:19I mean, I don't know.
02:21But Elliott Wolfe saying that would be like Eamon doing the wine order on a night that you take us out.
02:27Like, he's not buying.
02:28Yeah.
02:29The other and I.
02:30And you are the one, as the person at the head of the table that set up the night,
02:34unless you offer it to someone else, you're going to pick the red wine for the table
02:38that's not going to be something you don't want to pay for.
02:41Elliott Wolfe is at the kids' table, and he thinks he's ordering the catering for the whole company.
02:45But don't you think Kraft's made him think that?
02:47Like, I don't.
02:48But then why is Kraft, why would Mike Rabel take this job then?
