00:00This is vital for the British public. We said to them before the election that we're going to clamp
00:05down on illegal workers and that we're going to make sure that British workers come first and
00:10they have the opportunities. So what we've done here is we've increased that intelligence sharing
00:14across government departments and enforcement agencies to ensure that employers that are
00:20scanning the system and bringing people in illegally or what will be illegally are clamped
00:27down on. So we're sanctioning them and we're making sure they don't have access to that
00:31foreign workforce. A lot of people think about small boats as the issue for illegal migration.
00:36That's big. We're working hard on that. But it's also overstayers from work visas that need to come
00:43down. So I mean that's come down already by 48 percent and when it comes to employers the
00:47sanctions have increased by 100 percent in just 12 months.
