At Designyatra 2025 in Goa, we spoke with some of the most inspiring voices in design, art and innovation. From entrepreneurs and illustrators to global artists and creative technologists, they shared their journeys, insights and the magic of being part of India’s biggest design gathering.
00:00Hi guys, I'm Ayush from Paper Monday. We're launching a business at the event, at Design Yatra, which is, as you all know, one of the most, it is the most, you know, special and paramount event for the design community in India and probably in Southeast Asia.
00:17So Paper Monday is a venture that me and my wife, Nopur, are starting to represent and be talent managers for artists. Our first roster of seven artists, we'll be helping where we take up all their business development, their legal, their admin, their bandwidth and leave the artist to just create.
00:39So we're hoping to also champion the collective and take Indian design global and give it its voice that it's been dying to get.
00:48India is probably one of my favorite countries in the world in terms of color, in terms of beauty, like there's beauty everywhere. So to me as a pattern designer, illustrator, this is inspiration for a long time.
01:06I mean, I'm going to be digesting all this experience for a long time.
01:12India is a wonderful country and it just developed since I was here first time. I cannot even believe it.
01:17You know, now being here invited in an environment, which looks like future environment, if we don't have something like I had here for this talk, technology and environment that we don't have in Austria.
01:30Maxon is basically a 3D design tool that encompasses the entire journey of content creation.
01:36And it's for everybody, not just experts, but for the students as well.
01:39So we have like around six to seven softwares within Maxon, which basically kind of cover features like storyboarding,
01:47designing, 2D animation, 3D animations, particles, simulation, rigging, animation, the entire kind of process.
01:54We've been catering to the media and entertainment vertical, but this is our first presence here at the Design Yatra.
02:00It's been fantastic so far, the kind of engagement, the kind of conversations that we're having from across industries that usually that we don't cater to.
02:08It's opening up a whole new, whole new kind of like market for us.
02:11We cover a wide range of customization tools through an online portal.
02:16We are associated with Design Yatra because we felt what we do is extremely synonymous with what they're trying to achieve in the design space.
02:24We have an incredible number of designers, creative people, artists who work with us to bring their designs to life.
02:33And we felt the association just makes a lot of sense because the speakers, the people participating here are exactly the category of people that we associate with from day to day basis.
02:44So in fact, meeting all of them at the event, them seeing the screen printing process, everything has been exceptional for us because
02:52it's the first time we feel we've connected with an audience that we otherwise speak with over the phone every day.
