00:00You're the reason I've been locked away in here.
00:03You're not my mother. You're my master.
00:07Or should I say?
00:09You were.
00:10Wednesday Addams. We both know that she's the real enemy.
00:14She's here, in the building, right now.
00:17Hello, my friends.
00:18In today's video, we're diving into the new season of Wednesday, the first four episodes.
00:22If you haven't watched the first season for whatever reason,
00:25you can check it out using the link in the description and the pinned comment.
00:28So let's get started.
00:30Season 2 opens with Wednesday tied up in a dark, eerie basement,
00:34surrounded by unsettling porcelain dolls.
00:36How did she end up here?
00:37He's under the delusion that I'm his next victim.
00:40I'll let him chair a set notion while I explain my predicament.
00:43Six weeks earlier, she had finally mastered control of her psychic abilities
00:47with the help of Goody's Book of Shadows.
00:49With her power steady, she set out to fulfill an obsession she's had since childhood,
00:53taking down the Kansas City Scalper,
00:55a serial killer who murders women and uses their hair to craft lifelike dolls.
00:59To launch her mission, Wednesday sent Thing to sneak into the police station
01:03and steal a prized bowling ball belonging to the scalper's 11th victim.
01:07Touching the ball allowed her to psychically track the killer's location,
01:10sending her to Kansas to hunt him down.
01:12At the airport, Wednesday sets off an alarm at security
01:15and reluctantly hands over her brass knuckles.
01:17The guards grow more suspicious, so they scan her with a metal detector.
01:21She's forced to surrender an arsenal of hidden weapons.
01:24Which part of prohibited items don't you understand, young lady?
01:28The part where you believe that cramming hundreds of people into a metal tube
01:31flying through the air creates some sort of utopia where weapons aren't needed.
01:34Can we get a bank check over here?
01:37I'm headed to the Junior and Balmers Convention in Kansas City.
01:40It's a prosthetic hand.
01:41Yeah, that's not the problem.
01:43You care to explain this?
01:44Curious.
01:45I have no idea how that ended up in there.
01:48This is over 3.4 ounces, which means it's a big no-no.
01:50Sun cream?
01:51Seriously?
01:53Wednesday eventually tracks down the scalper and tries to tase him,
01:57but he blocks the attack.
01:58The moment he touches her, she's pulled into a vision,
02:00this time with black tears streaming from her eyes.
02:03That's how she ended up in the killer's basement.
02:05The scalper enters, carrying torture tools,
02:07and shows her a doll made in her likeness,
02:09explaining this is how he remembers his victims.
02:12He removes her gag, and Wednesday coolly tells him,
02:14Let me show you some of my own handiwork.
02:16As she locks eyes on another doll,
02:18Thing bursts out and attacks like a maniac,
02:20giving her the chance to break free.
02:22After Thing knocks him down, he notices the black tears.
02:25It's nothing.
02:26Just a minor psychic glitch.
02:27But Wednesday warns him to keep it secret.
02:29She then grabs a knife and lunges at the scalper.
02:31Back home, Wednesday sits before a framed newspaper with the headline,
02:35Scalper Scalped, in the killer's photo.
02:37She searches Goody's spellbook for answers about the black tears,
02:40but finds nothing.
02:41Morticia enters, urging her to get ready to return to school,
02:44and says she can't wait to read Wednesday's novel.
02:46When do I get to read your novel?
02:48When the sun explodes and the earth is consumed in a molten apocalypse.
02:52Soon, mother. Soon.
02:53On the way to school, her brother Pugsley,
02:55now enrolling at Nevermore, shows off his electrokinesis.
02:58Morticia and Gomez praise him,
03:00and Gomez notes he shares the same gift as Uncle Fester.
03:02When Pugsley asks why his father didn't inherit it,
03:05Morticia says being an outcast is a state of mind.
03:07Wednesday, however, only cares how his power might help her.
03:10She tests his aim, ordering him to hit the O on a stop sign ahead,
03:14or be ejected from the car.
03:16Only Dad's button can do that.
03:17I had things rewire it.
03:21He succeeds, but the shattered sign causes a car pileup and explosion.
03:26At Nevermore, the Addams family arrives.
03:28Morticia notes it's the first time Wednesday has willingly returned to a school.
03:32Wednesday boasts that she'll bend the school to her will.
03:35Students immediately swarm her for autographs.
03:37I only signed my name in blood.
03:38I would expect nothing less.
03:40I never said it was my own blood.
03:41Until Bianca uses her siren power to disperse them.
03:45She explains that Wednesday's heroics against Marilyn Thornhill and the Hyde made her famous.
03:50The new principal, Barry Dort, arrives to introduce himself,
03:53calling her the savior of Nevermore and announcing the return of the founder's pyre,
03:57a long-lost outcast tradition featuring a massive bonfire.
04:00He invites her to be the student of honor,
04:02saying he wants to restore the school's glory and criticizing the former principal's leadership.
04:07Wednesday declines, saying she won't speak ill of the dead and prefers to demonize the living.
04:11In Jericho, private investigator Carl Bradbury secretly photographs a couple about to have a picnic.
04:17Suddenly, a one-eyed crow and a swarm of others surround him.
04:20He retreats into his van, locks the doors, and calls someone to say he's been made,
04:24adding that if he dies, the evidence is safe at the bullpen.
04:27He doesn't notice the crows already inside until he turns around, and they attack.
04:32At Nevermore, in her dorm, Wednesday is stunned to find her roommate Enid hosting a party.
04:37Enid greets her warmly,
04:38Howdy, roomie!
04:39then sends everyone out.
04:40She chats about her summer vacation and gifts Wednesday a black t-shirt from a festival.
04:44In return, Wednesday offers a doll she took from the scalper's basement.
04:48It's made from real human hair.
04:50Enid awkwardly accepts.
04:52Enid shares her goals for the year, including joining the Nightshades.
04:55Wednesday says she plans to avoid people and finish her novel,
04:58showing Enid the two years of work she's put into it.
05:01Call it death by a thousand notes.
05:02This one here just looks like a typo.
05:04It's not.
05:04It's the old English spelling for dismemberment.
05:06This novel was two years of my life.
05:08I'll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands before I change a single word.
05:11Ajax knocks, prompting Enid to hide.
05:13He asks after her.
05:14Is Enid around?
05:15But Wednesday lies.
05:16Do you mind giving her this?
05:17After he leaves, Enid admits she no longer feels the same about him.
05:20She's changed.
05:21Wednesday urges her to talk to him.
05:22Suddenly, a crossbow bolt shoots out of their closet,
05:25striking the wall beside a photo of Wednesday and Principal Dort from earlier.
05:29Scrawled across it,
05:30Welcome back, Wednesday.
05:31I'm still watching.
05:32Wait, you have a stalker?
05:33Don't be jealous.
05:34Wednesday grabs the photo and tries to psychically identify the stalker, but fails.
05:38I didn't see the stalker.
05:40You've got a little something.
05:42It's nothing.
05:42Meanwhile, Morticia and Gomez settle Pugsley into Caliban Hall, Gomez's old dorm.
05:47Pugsley meets his roommate Eugene,
05:49and cheerfully asks how it felt to be mauled by the hide.
05:52Eugene says he still wakes up screaming.
05:54That's awesome.
05:56Gomez offers advice before leaving the boys to bond.
05:59Eugene shows Pugsley his bug collection.
06:01They're so juicy.
06:02Perfect for late night munchies.
06:04They're pets, not snacks.
06:07And explains he only agreed to room with him because he owes Wednesday.
06:10Ajax drops by to announce he's the hall's resident advisor and asks if the boys have any questions.
06:15Do you have any questions?
06:16Can you storm me with your snakes?
06:18That's not gonna happen.
06:19Are you and Enid still together?
06:21Or has she finally come to her senses?
06:22I know the chances of her asking me are next to zero, but I don't care.
06:26I'll keep putting myself out there until Enid finally sees me.
06:29And if she never does?
06:30She will.
06:31I'm playing the long game.
06:32Okay, Ajax and I will go check out the conservatory.
06:35What's he doing in your room?
06:37Calm down, Eugene.
06:39That Gorgon is a moron.
06:41Do you two have any dorm-related questions?
06:42When they don't, he leaves.
06:44Later, Wednesday joins her family and principal Dort, who mentions Morticia may be spending more time on campus.
06:50He asks her to chair the Gala Fundraising Committee, explaining that Xavier's father, the former chair,
06:55stepped down after Xavier was falsely accused of murder last year.
06:59Xavier is now transferring to a school in Switzerland.
07:01Dort urges Morticia to consider his offer, then takes them to Rotwood Cottage,
07:05the former home of Marilyn Thornhill now in prison, where they'll spend the night.
07:09Who decorated this place?
07:11A homicidal maniac.
07:13Nothing your putrefying touch couldn't fix, gotta beat ya.
07:17He adds that the cottage could be hers if she accepts.
07:20After Dort leaves, Wednesday questions her mother's interest in the role.
07:23Morticia says it's a chance to stay close and act as her temporary spirit guide,
07:27since no one else in their bloodline remains to fill that role.
07:30Temporarily, of course, until a new guide presents themselves.
07:34Wednesday dismisses the idea, saying Morticia is a dove, psychics who see positive outcomes,
07:39while she's a raven, destined to see doom.
07:41Morticia reveals she knows plenty about ravens because her sister Ophelia was one,
07:45and admits Wednesday reminds her more of her aunt with each passing year.
07:48Wednesday insists she'll be fine, and urges her to focus on Pugsley.
07:52After she leaves, Morticia tells Gomez she's certain Wednesday is hiding something,
07:56and she won't let history repeat itself.
07:58In the woods, Wednesday brushes off things advice to listen to her mother.
08:01She spots police removing the remains of Carl Bradbury, his eyes gouged out by crows.
08:06At the scene, she meets the new sheriff, Santiago, and notices a hooded man watching.
08:11When he sees her, he bolts.
08:12Wednesday chases and intercepts him, only to discover it's Tyler's father,
08:16former Sheriff Donovan Galpin.
08:18He explains that he and Bradbury were working a case,
08:20and Bradbury uncovered something that could endanger outcasts,
08:23something that got him killed.
08:24You care about outcasts now?
08:25My son is an outcast.
08:27Yeah, I know what he's done, but it's Thornhill.
08:29She turned him into a monster.
08:30Tyler was always a monster.
08:31Donovan asks for Wednesday's help, but she refuses and walks away.
08:35Before leaving, he warns her.
08:37The crows are always watching.
08:38That night at Nevermore, Principal Dort summons Bianca to his office,
08:42asking her to serve as student liaison for the fundraiser.
08:44She refuses, but he reminds her that she's on a scholarship,
08:47and if the event fails, some students, including her, may be cut.
08:51Using your powers of persuasion for a good cause should be applauded.
08:55I'm sure you agree.
08:56We all want what's best for Nevermore,
08:58so why don't you take another look at that schedule of yours
09:01and see if you can squeeze this in.
09:03You can give me your decision tomorrow.
09:04Meanwhile, Ajax tells the Caliban Hall freshman
09:07a legend about a boy with a weak heart
09:09who built himself a mechanical one.
09:11He spent his days in bed,
09:12drawing all the incredible machines he planned to build someday.
09:15Now, the doctors, they only gave him months to live,
09:18so he decided to design his own heart
09:20so that his body could keep up with his dazzling mind.
09:23The operation was successful,
09:25but the clockwork hard had changed the boy.
09:27He became cold and driven by ambition.
09:30When he arrived at Nevermore,
09:32he was hailed as the greatest mind to ever walk the halls.
09:35But his inventions became more dangerous.
09:38His inventions later killed him,
09:39and he was buried under the skull tree,
09:41where the ticking of his heart can still be heard by the brave.
09:44Pugsley listens with a wicked grin.
09:46Thing, what are you doing out here?
09:48Winston yelled at you?
09:49Man, the sudden popularity's really getting to her.
09:51I think some people just aren't built for fame.
09:53Enid cheers up a sulking thing
09:55by building him a miniature room
09:56and officially welcoming him into her pack.
09:59Thing slips on the pack's ring.
10:00In his room, Pugsley finds the skull tree's location
10:03and uses his powers to revive a dead spider.
10:05The new head of music, Miss Capri,
10:07enters as Wednesday plays,
10:08urging her to feel the beautiful chaos in the music.
10:11Miss Capri, the new head of music.
10:13Is this the same as Adora Capri,
10:15who completed her first classical album, Wolfhauer,
10:17at the age of 10?
10:18I didn't realize I had any fans left.
10:19I've always been fascinated by child prodigies.
10:21Wednesday dismisses her,
10:23saying she isn't looking for a lesson.
10:24The next day,
10:25Da Vinci students use telekinesis
10:27to build a massive eagle-shaped pyre
10:29for that night's bonfire.
10:30Principal Dort and Morticia arrive,
10:32and he flatters her
10:33while pressing for an answer
10:34about chairing the gala.
10:35Have you made your decision
10:36about chairing the gala yet?
10:37She says she's still considering.
10:39When he offers to find her a student liaison,
10:41Bianca steps up.
10:42Which is why you would have
10:43a liaison student to assist you.
10:45And I am on the hunt
10:46for that perfect person.
10:47Look no further.
10:48She's here.
10:48Dort invites Morticia
10:49to attend the pyre
10:50and make her decision afterward.
10:52That night,
10:52Wednesday receives a letter
10:53and painting from Xavier.
10:55I tried texting,
10:56but I guess you lost the phone I gave you.
10:58Welcome to the 21st century, Adams.
11:03My number's in there already.
11:04You have a phone?
11:05I dropped it in the bath.
11:07The painting shows
11:08a one-eyed crow
11:09perched on a tombstone.
11:10In his letter,
11:11Xavier says he's certain
11:12the image is connected to her.
11:13Wednesday then notices
11:14her typewriter has been tampered with
11:16and her novel is gone,
11:17replaced by a riddle
11:18and a photo of her
11:19with the eyes cut out.
11:20From the riddle,
11:20she deduces that her stalker
11:22plans to burn her novel
11:23at the founder's pyre that night.
11:24My stalker's going to burn
11:25my manuscript
11:26at the founder's pyre.
11:27That's not your only copy, right?
11:30Seriously?
11:30Copy machines
11:31aren't even 21st century technology.
11:32Determined to save
11:33two years of work,
11:34she rushes to the ceremony.
11:36By the way,
11:36can someone tell me
11:37what happened with
11:38Wednesday's skin retouching
11:39this season?
11:40Her cheeks and nose
11:41look obviously too blurry
11:42compared to the others.
11:43Just pay attention
11:44and you'll notice
11:45what I'm talking about.
11:46At the pyre,
11:47Wednesday asks Enid
11:48to keep watch for the stalker,
11:49but Enid gets distracted
11:50by students wanting pictures.
11:52Some slip Wednesday
11:53a blade-laced note
11:54from the stalker
11:54telling her to meet
11:55under the pyre
11:56or lose her novel.
11:57She heads inside the structure.
11:58Meanwhile,
11:59Pugsley tells his friends
12:00he'll sneak off to the skull tree
12:01once the ceremony starts,
12:03but none join him.
12:04Ajax finally catches up
12:05to Enid to ask
12:06why she's avoiding him,
12:07but she dodges the question.
12:09Bruno,
12:09her new boyfriend,
12:10invites her to sit with him,
12:11but she hurries off
12:12to help Wednesday instead.
12:14The ceremony begins
12:15with Miss Capri
12:16and the sirens
12:16performing the Nevermore Anthem.
12:18Principal Dort makes
12:19a grand entrance,
12:20welcomes the crowd,
12:21and announces
12:22he's abolishing
12:23the nightshades
12:23and all other secret societies.
12:25The news clearly
12:26displeases Bianca.
12:27Therefore,
12:28we are all nightshades.
12:31Enid warns Wednesday
12:32to get out
12:32before the pyre is lit,
12:34but Wednesday refuses
12:35to leave without her novel.
12:36Dort ignites the pyre
12:37with his powers,
12:38and the da Vinci's
12:39use telekinesis
12:40to fly the massive eagle-shaped
12:42structure around.
12:43Seeing the danger,
12:44Enid alerts Dort,
12:45but Wednesday escapes
12:46with her manuscript
12:47just in time.
12:48She rejoins the crowd,
12:49only for Dort to welcome her
12:51as the student of honor
12:52and unveil a commemorative painting
12:53of her and her friends.
12:55Disgusted by the painting,
12:56Wednesday delivers
12:57a fiery speech
12:58that begins to win cheers,
13:00until she turns on the crowd,
13:01calling them imbeciles
13:02for celebrating
13:03something so ridiculous.
13:05You thought I was your hero?
13:06I'm not.
13:06I always play dirty
13:07and I never fight fair.
13:08The only side I'm on is my own,
13:10and the only place
13:11I'll lead you
13:11is off a cliff.
13:12So do not put me
13:13on a pedestal,
13:15because I will burn it down.
13:16She drops the mic,
13:17grabs a torch,
13:18and sets the portrait ablaze,
13:20leaving everyone stunned.
13:21Meanwhile,
13:21Pugsley reaches the skull tree,
13:23slips,
13:24and accidentally uses his powers
13:25to revive the long-dead man
13:27buried beneath it.
13:30As Wednesday heads back inside,
13:32Enid grabs her shoulders,
13:34triggering another vision,
13:35and causing black tears
13:36to stream down her face,
13:37In the vision,
13:38Wednesday stands in a graveyard,
13:40staring at a headstone
13:41with Enid's name on it.
13:42Perched on the stone
13:43is the crow from Xavier's painting.
13:45Suddenly,
13:46Enid seizes her by the neck,
13:47accusing her of being
13:48the reason she was killed.
13:49In real time,
13:50Morticia rushes over
13:51as Enid sobs,
13:53watching Wednesday
13:53collapse into a seizure.
13:55Wednesday wakes in Morticia's room,
13:57still weak from the vision.
13:58I know what those tears mean.
14:00Morticia explains that
14:01the black tears
14:01are a sign of psychic exhaustion
14:03brought on by overusing her powers.
14:05She urges Wednesday
14:06to give up Goody's spellbook
14:07and wait patiently
14:08for her true spirit guide.
14:10Goody was my spirit guide.
14:11That book belongs to me.
14:12Morticia pleads
14:13that she's only trying to help,
14:14but Wednesday snaps back
14:16that she liked her better
14:17when she was far away.
14:18After she storms out,
14:19Morticia scolds Thing
14:20for failing to protect her.
14:22On the ride back to Nevermore,
14:23Wednesday tells Lurch
14:24to make a detour.
14:25She visits Donovan Galpin's
14:27abandoned, vandalized home
14:28and finds his lifeless body,
14:30eyes gouged out
14:31just like Carl Bradbury's.
14:32A swarm of crows
14:33bursts from his mouth,
14:34all flying out the window
14:36except for one,
14:37the one-eyed crow.
14:38She tries to trigger a vision
14:39by touching the body,
14:40but nothing happens.
14:41My ability.
14:42It's not working.
14:43Before she can investigate further,
14:44the police arrive
14:45and Sheriff Santiago arrests her.
14:47At the station,
14:48Santiago points out
14:49that she was present
14:50at both murder scenes.
14:51The last person
14:52to have his eyes packed out
14:53called Galpin
14:54right before he died.
14:55I wanted to know
14:56what they had discussed,
14:57but Galpin wasn't
14:58answering his cell.
14:59A phone that has since banished.
15:02There was no trace
15:02when we searched Galpin's house.
15:03I didn't take his phone.
15:05Wednesday explains
15:05that Galpin had invited her over
15:07before his death
15:08and urges the sheriff
15:09to investigate his son Tyler
15:11who hated him.
15:11Santiago replies
15:12that Tyler is safely locked away
15:14in Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital.
15:16Gomez suddenly arrives,
15:17posing as Wednesday's lawyer.
15:19He demands Santiago
15:19get a court order
15:20before questioning her further
15:22and escorts her out.
15:23In the car,
15:23Gomez asks why she was
15:25at Galpin's house.
15:26Wednesday explains Galpin
15:27was working a case
15:28and had asked for her help.
15:30She presses for information
15:31about Aunt Ophelia,
15:32but Gomez insists
15:33that's Morticia's story to tell.
15:35Meanwhile,
15:36Eugene catches Pugsley
15:37sneaking out of the Hummer's shed.
15:39Inside,
15:39Eugene is stunned
15:40to find the chained up corpse
15:42of the boy from the skull tree
15:43alive.
15:44Pugsley wants to keep him
15:45locked up forever,
15:46claiming he can't hurt them
15:47because he has no brain.
15:48They feed him honey,
15:49but he vomits it all over them.
15:51Pugsley names him Slurp.
15:52Wednesday confides
15:53in Thing
15:54that her last vision
15:54showed Enid's death
15:56and it's somehow tied
15:56to the one-eyed crow.
15:58She warns him
15:58not to tell Enid.
15:59Entering her room,
16:00Wednesday is horrified
16:01to see Enid lying
16:02in a pool of blood
16:03on the balcony.
16:04She rushes over,
16:04but Enid bursts out laughing.
16:06It's a prank.
16:07She says it's revenge
16:08for the fake eyeball
16:08Wednesday left on her pillow.
16:10What fake eyeball?
16:11But when Wednesday
16:11checks the eyeball,
16:12she realizes it's real
16:13and it belonged to Galpin.
16:15A crow must have dropped it there.
16:16So real looking.
16:18Where'd you get it?
16:18Little birdie
16:19must have dropped it off.
16:20Before she can react,
16:21Enid's phone pings
16:22with photos of Wednesday
16:23and a message
16:24from the stalker.
16:25I won't be ignored.
16:26Calling the number
16:26only leads to Galpin's voicemail.
16:28Why is Galpin stalking you
16:29on my phone?
16:30And why were you at his house?
16:31This isn't Galpin.
16:32He was murdered last night.
16:33This must be his killer.
16:34What?
16:35Are you pranking me now?
16:36Enid is shaken
16:36to learn he's dead
16:37and storms off
16:38to her driving lesson.
16:39Wednesday tries again
16:40to trigger a vision
16:41with the eyeball,
16:42but fails.
16:42She orders Thing
16:43to search Goody's spellbook
16:44for a way
16:45to restore her powers.
16:46Outside,
16:46never more students
16:47celebrate prank day.
16:48Ajax watches sadly
16:50as Enid laughs
16:50with her new boyfriend,
16:51Bruno.
16:52Pugsley and Eugene
16:53approach with a jar
16:53of Eugene's
16:54blood-sucking flying fleas.
16:55You know the best medicine
16:56for a broken heart?
16:57And release them on Bruno.
16:58As Bruno arrives
16:59on the ground,
17:00the boys laugh
17:01and Ajax thanks them.
17:02Thanks, guys.
17:03Then turns them both to stone.
17:04Happy prank day.
17:06At Rotwood Cottage,
17:07Bianca visits Morticia
17:09to discuss the gala fundraiser,
17:10showing her a list
17:11of potential donors.
17:12She explains
17:13that Principal Dort
17:13hopes Morticia
17:14can contact her estranged mother
17:16for a sizable contribution.
17:17Morticia refuses,
17:18claiming the last person
17:20who asked her
17:20for a donation
17:21died of fright.
17:22Wednesday approaches
17:23Principal Dort
17:23and Dr. Orloff,
17:25who are discussing
17:25how Orloff isn't fond
17:27of prank day.
17:27Last year,
17:29someone put eels
17:30in my dog.
17:33Principal Dort
17:34assures her
17:35he's not upset
17:36about the pyre incident,
17:37saying acts of defiance
17:38are what make
17:39a good outcast.
17:40Wednesday asks
17:40if they know
17:41of any students
17:41or teachers
17:42who can control birds.
17:43Dr. Orloff replies
17:44that they haven't had anyone
17:45with that ability
17:46in the past 10 years.
17:47Meanwhile,
17:48Eugene and Pugsley
17:48visit Slurp
17:49at the Hummers' shed.
17:50Pugsley offers him
17:51a sandwich,
17:52which Slurp
17:52snatches and devours.
17:53After the boys leave,
17:54Slurp begins
17:55breaking free
17:55from his chains.
17:59Desperate for answers,
18:00Wednesday decides
18:00to visit Tyler
18:01at Willow Hill.
18:02To get a ride,
18:03she steals
18:03Enid's driver's ed
18:04consent form.
18:05When Enid rushes
18:06back for it,
18:06Thing insists
18:07he hasn't seen it.
18:08Morticia enters
18:09and after Enid leaves,
18:10she orders Thing
18:11to hand over
18:11Goody's spellbook.
18:12At the school gate,
18:13Wednesday pretends
18:14to be Enid.
18:15Do you have any
18:15previous driving experience?
18:17Video games don't count.
18:19My uncle used to let me
18:20sit behind the wheel
18:20while we ran errands.
18:23Punch it, chutz!
18:27Sure.
18:28Once in the driver's seat,
18:29she tries to speed off,
18:30but the instructor stops her.
18:32He has his own
18:32set of controls.
18:33I'm the captain
18:34of this ship,
18:35young lady.
18:36When Slurp's escape
18:37attempt distracts him,
18:38Wednesday disconnects
18:39the controls
18:40I'm the captain now
18:42and takes off.
18:44Back at Nevermore,
18:45Pugsley disrupts
18:46Dr. Orloff's class
18:47by hiding behind the desk
18:48and zapping him.
18:49Eugene rushes in
18:50to tell him Slurp
18:51has escaped.
18:51At Willow Hill,
18:52the guards refuse
18:53to let Wednesday in,
18:54assuming she's just
18:55another Hyde-obsessed fan.
18:56She drops a stack
18:57of paperwork
18:57and insists they tell
18:58their supervisors
18:59she's Wednesday Adams.
19:01Inside,
19:01the secretary explains
19:02that only Dr. Fairburn,
19:04an outcast psychiatry specialist,
19:06can authorize the visit.
19:07Dr. Fairburn appears,
19:08saying she's been expecting her.
19:09She explains that Tyler
19:10has been uncooperative
19:12and manipulative
19:12and she hopes
19:13Wednesday's visit might help.
19:15When Wednesday asks
19:16about Marilyn Thornhill,
19:18Fairburn says
19:18she's in another facility,
19:20an act meant
19:21to weaken her bond
19:22with Tyler.
19:22Dr. Fairburn escorts Wednesday
19:24to Tyler's maximum security cell
19:25and monitors their conversation.
19:27Tyler mocks her,
19:28saying she came
19:29because she can't
19:30stop thinking about him
19:31and claims she fell in love
19:32with the monster inside him
19:33because she's one herself.
19:35Wednesday tells him
19:36his father is dead.
19:37Who else would want him dead?
19:38You looking for my help?
19:39I'm flattered.
19:40It's gonna be so much more fun
19:42watching you
19:43grope around in the dark.
19:44Say hi to Enid for me.
19:46Tell her I'm gonna kill her
19:47the next time I see her.
19:48Make her pay
19:49for sticking her snout
19:50in my business.
19:51I want her screams
19:52to haunt you
19:53for the rest of your life.
19:55You're right.
19:55I couldn't resist seeing you.
19:57Witnessing you chained
19:57and caged up
19:58makes my dark heart grin.
20:00Thornhill chose you
20:00to be her murderous marionette,
20:02not just because she saw
20:03some hide hibernating
20:04inside of you,
20:04but because she saw
20:05the real you,
20:05an expendable nobody.
20:06I don't need to visit again.
20:08I already take up
20:09enough space
20:09in your twisted head.
20:12In Principal Dort's office,
20:14he tells Bianca
20:15how crucial it is
20:16to secure a donation
20:17from Morticia's mother,
20:18Hester Frump,
20:19believing it will
20:20inspire others to give.
20:21Then why don't you
20:21have that conversation
20:22with Mrs. Adams?
20:23Because you can be
20:24so much more persuasive.
20:26You're not seriously
20:27asking me to siren song her.
20:29Of course not.
20:30I'm ordering you.
20:31You will never
20:33try and coerce me again.
20:36Nice try, Ms. Barclay.
20:37Dort reveals a charm
20:38made of Corinthian
20:39coral shards
20:40that makes him immune
20:41to siren song.
20:42He threatens to pull
20:42her scholarship
20:43if she doesn't comply.
20:44Meanwhile,
20:45Enid brings Bruno
20:45into her room
20:46and finds a gift
20:47addressed to Thing.
20:48Opening his little room,
20:49she catches him drinking.
20:50Thing?
20:51Have you been drinking?
20:52How is that even...
20:54It doesn't matter.
20:55Inside the gift
20:56is a mugshot of Thing
20:57and a note from Uncle Fester
20:58wishing him a happy birthday.
21:00Thing?
21:00Is it your birthday?
21:02No, Wednesday didn't tell me.
21:04Did the entire Adams family
21:05forget it was your birthday?
21:07I'm really sorry.
21:08She invites him out
21:09to celebrate.
21:10Before they can leave,
21:11someone enters,
21:12knocks out both Enid
21:13and Bruno
21:13and locks Thing
21:14inside his chest room.
21:16Later that night,
21:17Wednesday finds Thing
21:18locked up.
21:19He warns her
21:19that something happened
21:20to Enid.
21:21Enid's phone rings
21:22and a voice tells Wednesday
21:23she has 30 minutes
21:24to save her friend.
21:25A note is then slipped
21:26under the door
21:27reading,
21:27Play Dead.
21:28Wednesday rushes outside,
21:29but the messenger is gone.
21:31Enid and Bruno wake
21:31to find themselves
21:32chained together
21:33in an abandoned clock tower.
21:34At first,
21:35Enid thinks it's a prank.
21:37Okay, Ajax.
21:39Great prank.
21:40But after a knife
21:41drops from the ceiling,
21:42she realizes it's real.
21:44Searching for Enid,
21:45Wednesday runs into
21:46Miss Capri,
21:46who invites her to join
21:47the fundraiser
21:48Gala Orchestra.
21:49Wednesday refuses,
21:50recalling Capri's
21:51past criticism,
21:52but Capri insists
21:53she only meant
21:54to help her improve.
21:55Afterward,
21:56Wednesday realizes
21:56the letters
21:57on the stalker's note
21:58are actually musical notes,
21:59and the heart symbol
22:00means the organ.
22:01Playing the notes
22:02on the organ
22:02reveals a hidden passage,
22:04which she follows.
22:05Meanwhile,
22:06Enid apologizes to Bruno
22:07for dragging him
22:08into trouble.
22:08This isn't your fault.
22:10It kind of is.
22:11Whatever's going on here
22:12is clearly connected
22:12to my roommate.
22:13She's like this
22:14Dark North star
22:15for psycho killers.
22:16Why are you friends
22:17with her?
22:17Because even though
22:18Wednesday is literally
22:19the tunnel at the end
22:20of my light,
22:21I can't imagine my life
22:22without her in it.
22:23They try to break free
22:24but fall.
22:25Bruno panics,
22:25but Enid helps calm him down
22:27and they share a kiss.
22:28As Wednesday moves
22:29through the tunnel,
22:30a masked figure
22:30follows silently,
22:31then vanishes,
22:32leaving only the mask
22:33with the message
22:34Time is Ticking
22:35carved into it.
22:36She finds Enid,
22:37but the ceiling knives
22:38begin to lower.
22:39Thing tries to free them
22:40but gets trapped.
22:41On a nearby typewriter,
22:42a riddle awaits.
22:43Wednesday solves it
22:44just in time to save them.
22:48The stalker reveals
22:49herself as Agnes,
22:50a 13-year-old
22:51with invisibility powers
22:52and Wednesday's
22:53self-proclaimed
22:53number one fan.
22:55Happy prank day Wednesday.
22:56She admits to blackmailing
22:57some Da Vinci's
22:58into helping her
22:59with the prank
22:59just to get
23:00Wednesday's attention.
23:01I just asked myself
23:02W, W, W, D.
23:06What would Wednesday do?
23:07That's my line,
23:08you little psycho.
23:09I just asked myself
23:10W, W, W, D.
23:12What would Wednesday do?
23:14Admit it.
23:15You're a little impressed.
23:16I doubt Wednesday
23:17is impressed by your tricks,
23:19Mr. Thorpe.
23:20Admit it.
23:20You're a little impressed.
23:21Why don't I return the favor?
23:23Park your claws,
23:24Rainbow Barbie.
23:25Besides,
23:26I got you some alone time
23:27with a pack hottie.
23:28Then why kill Galpin
23:28and place his eyeball
23:29on Enid's cushion?
23:30That eyeball was real?
23:32I didn't kill Galpin.
23:33Agnes denies knowing
23:34anything about Galpin's death
23:35or the eyeball
23:36left in Wednesday's room.
23:37She hands over Galpin's phone
23:39and offers to help
23:40find the real culprit.
23:41Later that night,
23:42Wednesday approaches Thing
23:43to apologize
23:44for forgetting his birthday,
23:45presenting him
23:46with an antique thumbscrew
23:47as a gift.
23:48I'm willing to be
23:48your first victim.
23:49Thing accepts the apology
23:50and shares his worry
23:51about Enid,
23:52but Wednesday reassures him
23:53she can protect Enid
23:54if she regains her powers.
23:56She asks if he uncovered
23:57anything useful
23:58in Goody's spellbook,
23:59but Thing reveals
23:59Morticia has taken it.
24:01Just then,
24:02Wednesday spots
24:02the one-eyed crow
24:03watching them.
24:04It takes off
24:05the moment she notices.
24:06At Rotwood Cottage,
24:07Bianca visits Morticia again
24:08and discreetly uses
24:09her siren powers
24:10to compel her
24:11into persuading her mother
24:12to attend the gala
24:13and make a substantial donation
24:14to the school.
24:15Before leaving,
24:16Bianca ensures Morticia
24:17has no memory
24:18of her visit.
24:19Meanwhile,
24:20Slurp roams the woods.
24:21Driving instructor
24:22Gabe Packard
24:23leaves a voicemail
24:24for Principal Dort,
24:25reporting Wednesday's
24:26earlier actions.
24:27Distracted,
24:28he accidentally hits
24:29Slurp with his car.
24:30Thinking it's an injured animal,
24:31Gabe gets out to check,
24:32but Slurp vanishes,
24:34only to reappear behind him
24:35and devour him.
24:36Morticia and Gomez
24:37treat Thing
24:37to a luxurious pedicure
24:39to make up
24:39for forgetting his birthday.
24:41Morticia vents about
24:42the stress of chairing
24:43the gala fundraiser
24:44while caring for the children,
24:45adding that she suddenly
24:46felt compelled
24:46to call her mother
24:47to donate.
24:48To lighten the mood,
24:49Gomez puts on music
24:50and dances with her.
24:51At that moment,
24:52Wednesday sneaks into the house
24:53to retrieve Goody's spell book,
24:55but Morticia,
24:56anticipating the move,
24:57intercepts her.
24:58She warns she isn't foolish enough
24:59to leave the book
25:00somewhere accessible.
25:01Wednesday confides
25:02her latest vision
25:03of Enid's death,
25:04the crow's,
25:04and a possible link
25:05to Galpin and Bradbury's killer,
25:07insisting she has mastered
25:08her ability.
25:09Galpin was murdered
25:10by that same one-eyed crow,
25:11and his former partner
25:12was also killed
25:12by these birds.
25:13These aren't random attacks,
25:14someone is behind it all.
25:16A Navy?
25:16I need to find the killer
25:18before they get to Enid.
25:19Morticia still refuses.
25:20You sound just like Ophelia.
25:22She was impatient
25:23and strong-willed
25:24and allowed her ability
25:26to drive her to madness.
25:28But the only answers
25:29I have are in that book.
25:30They're not answers.
25:32They're shortcuts
25:32that will lead you down
25:34a treacherous path
25:35filled with pain.
25:36I'm not your sister.
25:37No, you're my daughter,
25:39and I won't fail you
25:40the way that my mother
25:41failed Ophelia.
25:42As Wednesday investigates
25:44the one-eyed crow,
25:45Enid packs for the
25:45Nevermore camping trip,
25:46fussing over a missing bikini.
25:48Annoyed,
25:48Wednesday tricks her
25:49out of the room,
25:50only for Agnes to appear,
25:51begging to join the mystery hunt.
25:53How long have you been here?
25:55Since this.
25:57So, what's our next move?
25:58There is no next move.
26:00I already have a right hand.
26:01I don't need another.
26:02Go find somebody else to stalk.
26:03The more you push me away,
26:05the more I'll want to please you.
26:06Classic emotional manipulation technique.
26:08I'm late for a funeral.
26:10And if you're here when I get back,
26:11I'll be early for another.
26:13At Galpin's funeral,
26:14Wednesday finds only Sheriff Santiago
26:16and Dr. Fairburn in attendance.
26:18The sheriff warns her
26:18to stop hunting the killer
26:19before she ends up dead.
26:21After she leaves,
26:22Dr. Fairburn reveals
26:23that Galpin once visited
26:24Tyler at Willow Hill,
26:25a visit that triggered
26:26a violent Hyde transformation.
26:28It took five minutes
26:29of electrocution
26:30to force him back
26:31into human form.
26:32She also confirms
26:33that Willow Hill
26:33has no patience
26:34with bird control abilities.
26:36Wednesday departs,
26:37unaware the one-eyed crow
26:38is watching from a distance.
26:40Meanwhile, Slurp
26:41has wandered back
26:42to the Hummer's shed.
26:43Pugsley feeds him
26:44and notices he's healing
26:45and growing a brain.
26:46When Slurp lunges at Eugene,
26:48Pugsley quickly shocks him
26:49back to his senses.
26:50Eugene warns
26:51it's dangerous to keep Slurp,
26:53especially leaving him unattended
26:54while they're at camp.
26:55He urges Pugsley
26:56to tell the school,
26:57but Pugsley refuses,
26:58claiming he has a plan.
27:01Did you hear that?
27:02He said his first word.
27:03That's right,
27:03I am your bra.
27:04He's a zombie.
27:05He's not trying
27:06to call you his bra.
27:06He's trying to save brains.
27:08Elsewhere,
27:08Bianca enters the Apple Hollow Inn
27:10and uses her siren powers
27:12on the receptionist
27:12to obtain the key
27:13to her mother's room.
27:15This guest is not to be disturbed
27:16and I was never here.
27:18Inside,
27:18her mother confesses
27:19she's been glued
27:20to the news
27:20of her ex-husband Gideon
27:22being wanted by the feds.
27:23Bianca delivers supplies
27:25and says the only way
27:26her mother could have left the cult
27:27was in handcuffs
27:28or a body bag,
27:29so she made sure
27:30it was neither.
27:31She reveals Gideon married her
27:32only to exploit her
27:33for recruitment
27:34and to steal people's wealth,
27:36but promises
27:36to keep her safe.
27:37Much to her annoyance,
27:38Wednesday reluctantly enlists
27:40Agnes' help
27:41to unlock Galpin's phone.
27:42Agnes,
27:43when you sent me
27:43their stalker text messages,
27:45how did you unlock
27:45Galpin's phone?
27:46The nose is a little bigger.
27:48With assistance
27:49from Agnes'
27:50shape-shifting friend,
27:51they bypass the face ID.
27:52Agnes also hands over
27:54belongings she salvaged
27:55before the police
27:55cleared the scene.
27:57Dismissing the girls,
27:58Wednesday combs
27:58through Galpin's voicemails
27:59and finds one
28:00mentioning evidence
28:01at the bullpen.
28:02I don't make it.
28:03The evidence is safe
28:03at the bullpen.
28:04Among his things,
28:05she discovers a photo
28:06of a cabin
28:07with an address on the back.
28:08A quick map search
28:09shows it's near Camp Jericho,
28:11the destination
28:12of Nevermore's
28:13upcoming camping trip,
28:14forcing her to tag along.
28:15Pack weapons.
28:16On departure day,
28:17Principal Dort
28:18rallies the students
28:19to have fun.
28:20While grabbing a snack,
28:21Ajax teases Enid
28:22about her overpacking
28:23and offers to help,
28:24but Bruno steps in
28:25to block him.
28:26Miss Capri pulls Enid aside
28:28to lay down wolfpack ground rules
28:29for the full moon campout.
28:31After she leaves,
28:32Enid lights up
28:33at the sight of Wednesday
28:34joining the trip.
28:35Agnes appears
28:36and proudly declares
28:37she's Wednesday's
28:38new assistant,
28:38only to be sent off
28:39by Wednesday
28:40to secure a window seat.
28:42At Camp Jericho,
28:43Wednesday spots Pugsley
28:44struggling to carry a coffin
28:45and asks what's inside.
28:47He claims it's firewood
28:48for the campfire.
28:49Moments later,
28:50the rest of the Adams family arrives.
28:52Gomez explains
28:53they volunteered
28:53as parent chaperones
28:54to enjoy nature
28:55and spend time
28:56with the kids.
28:57Larsh,
28:57can you give me
28:58a hand with this?
29:02Hoping to ease tensions
29:03between Morticia
29:04and Wednesday,
29:05Gomez tries to spark conversation,
29:07but Wednesday walks away
29:08without a word.
29:09Pugsley sets up camp
29:10and positions fireworks outside.
29:12When Eugene asks about them,
29:13Pugsley explains
29:14their early warning signals
29:16in case Slurp escapes.
29:17Eugene is horrified
29:18to learn Pugsley
29:19brought Slurp to camp,
29:20but Pugsley argues
29:21that Eugene himself
29:22said they couldn't
29:22leave him behind
29:23at Nevermore.
29:24Just then,
29:24they hear Gomez approaching
29:26and rush out to block him
29:27from seeing Slurp.
29:28Later,
29:28Gomez suggests Morticia
29:29return Goody's spellbook,
29:31but she refuses,
29:32insisting it's better
29:33for her daughter
29:33to resent her
29:34than risk losing her,
29:35and she needs Gomez's
29:36full support.
29:37Meanwhile,
29:38Principal Dort
29:39welcomes the students
29:40to Camp Jericho,
29:41greeted with cheers
29:42and excitement.
29:43Mid-speech,
29:43Phoenix cadets
29:44led by Ron Kruger
29:45arrive,
29:46claiming they reserved
29:47the ground
29:47six months earlier.
29:48Kruger produces a contract,
29:50but Dort counters
29:50with his own.
29:51Signed by the camp's owner.
29:52Old Jack.
29:53Yeah, he retired Orlando.
29:54His son's run the business now.
29:55Must have double booked.
29:56Sounds like normie incompetence.
29:58As tempers flare,
29:59Wednesday steps forward
30:00and proposes a competition
30:01to decide who stays.
30:02The winner keeps the camp,
30:04the loser leaves.
30:05Both sides agree.
30:06Dort explains
30:06the outcasts
30:07versus cadets challenge.
30:08Two teams of 10
30:09split into attackers
30:10and defenders
30:11racing to capture
30:11their opponent Zephyr
30:12and bring it to the watchtower.
30:14The first to succeed wins.
30:15The game begins
30:16with the cadets
30:16quickly outsmarting Ajax
30:18and Bruno
30:18who are guarding
30:19the outcast Zephyr.
30:20The outcasts struggle
30:21to advance
30:22as the cadets
30:23fight back with tear gas.
30:24Things signals Eugene
30:25who unleashes a swarm
30:26of bees on their opponents.
30:28Wednesday charges into the gas
30:29and retrieves the cadets
30:30Zephyr with ease.
30:32But as a cadet
30:32is about to score,
30:33she fires a zip line
30:34from a cliff
30:35to the watchtower,
30:36zips across
30:37and kicks the Zephyr
30:38from his hands.
30:39She places it in the goal,
30:40securing victory
30:41for the outcasts.
30:42Later,
30:43Kruger berates his cadets
30:44for losing,
30:45vowing to reclaim
30:46the camp that night.
30:47Tonight,
30:47we recapture
30:48Camp Jericho.
30:50Sir, yes sir!
30:51That evening,
30:51while Morticia
30:52and the Sirens
30:52captivate the camp
30:53with song,
30:54Wednesday slips away
30:55to Galpin's cabin.
30:56Inside,
30:57she finds obituaries
30:58of outcasts,
30:59all former
30:59Willow Hill patients,
31:00all linked
31:01to the name Lois.
31:02All Willow Hill patients.
31:03She tries to trigger
31:04a psychic vision,
31:05but nothing happens.
31:06Goody's book
31:07is the only way
31:07to get my ability back.
31:09I've asked nicely.
31:10It's time to try
31:10something more pointed.
31:11Deciding her only option
31:12is to challenge Morticia
31:14for Goody's spell book,
31:15she turns to leave.
31:16Outside,
31:16the one-eyed crow
31:17watches from the shadows.
31:19At camp,
31:19Bianca compliments Morticia
31:21on her beautiful singing voice.
31:22Principal Dort joins them,
31:24asking if she's managed
31:24to persuade her mother
31:25to restart her donations
31:26to Nevermore.
31:28Morticia admits she called,
31:29but her mother didn't answer,
31:30adding that she's a hard nut to crack.
31:32Dort urges her
31:33to set aside their differences
31:34for the school's sake.
31:35Nearby,
31:36Ajax interrupts a conversation
31:37between Bruno and Enid,
31:39asking why she decided
31:40to move on
31:40without making her feelings clear.
31:42Enid admits she should have been
31:43more open,
31:44but says things escalated
31:45quickly with Bruno.
31:46Hurt!
31:47Ajax walks away
31:48just as the girl he likes
31:49drops that revelation on him.
31:51From the shadows,
31:52cadets,
31:52perfectly camouflaged,
31:54slip into the camp.
31:54Ron Kruger leads his cadets
31:56deeper into camp,
31:57instructing them to watch and learn
31:58as he heads for Pugsley's tent.
32:00But he accidentally triggers
32:01the firework signal
32:02meant for Slurp
32:03and stumbles inside.
32:04Slurp pounces,
32:05devouring his brain
32:07as the horrified cadets look on.
32:08Slurp!
32:09Later,
32:10Wednesday confronts Morticia
32:11in her room,
32:12accusing her of crossing boundaries
32:13and stealing Goody's book.
32:15She challenges her
32:16to a blindfolded fencing duel.
32:17And when they inform Gomez,
32:19he's thrilled.
32:20Before the duel begins,
32:21Wednesday and Morticia
32:22agree to the terms
32:23with Thing as the witness.
32:24If Wednesday wins,
32:25she gets the book.
32:26If she loses,
32:27Morticia burns it.
32:28Both wear glass hearts
32:29on their chests.
32:30The first to pierce
32:31the other's heart
32:32claims victory.
32:33Thing rings the bell
32:34and the fight begins,
32:35both moving
32:35with exceptional skill.
32:37Still bringing a knife
32:42to a sword fight?
32:42Elsewhere,
32:43Eugene and Pugsley
32:44rush into the tent
32:45and find Ron's body.
32:46They panic.
32:47Agnes appears,
32:48saying Wednesday told her
32:49to keep Pugsley out of trouble.
32:50Slurp never tried
32:51to eat my brain.
32:52Because that would be
32:53empty calories.
32:54The three set off
32:55to find Slurp.
32:56In the woods,
32:56Slurp arms himself
32:57with an axe
32:58and storms into
32:58a rustic bathroom
32:59where Gomez is bathing,
33:01bursting through the door
33:02while Gomez remains oblivious.
33:04Pugsley arrives just in time,
33:05electrocuting the creature.
33:07The noise alerts
33:07the entire camp.
33:08Slurp recovers,
33:09grabs his axe
33:10and heads straight
33:11for the duel.
33:12Morticia wins the match,
33:13but before she can savor it,
33:15Slurp emerges behind her.
33:16Wednesday reacts instantly,
33:18hurling her sword
33:19through his skull
33:19and pinning him to a tree,
33:21saving her mother's life.
33:22Later,
33:23police arrive
33:23to take Slurp away.
33:24The cadets give Ron Kruger
33:26one final salute
33:27before his body is removed.
33:28Wednesday,
33:29quietly processing her loss,
33:31faces the reality
33:32of continuing her investigation
33:33without her powers,
33:34still haunted
33:35by the mystery of Lois.
33:37Then she spots
33:38the one-eyed crow again,
33:39this time perched
33:40on a shadowy figure
33:41that vanishes moments later.
33:42At Willow Hill,
33:43Dr. Fairburn orders
33:44constant surveillance
33:45on a new patient
33:46she says is responsible
33:47for at least two homicides.
33:49As the cell window opens,
33:50the prisoner is revealed,
33:51Marilyn Thornhill.
33:53Marilyn is escorted
33:54into Dr. Fairburn's office.
33:56Sitting across from the doctor,
33:57she casually admits,
33:58I've read your book,
33:59Unlocking the Outcast Mind.
34:01Came in very handy
34:02when I was grooming Tyler.
34:03Fairburn explains
34:04she brought her in
34:05to learn exactly
34:06what was done to Tyler
34:07so she can rehabilitate him
34:08and that she needs
34:09Marilyn's cooperation.
34:11I thought keeping you two apart
34:12would diminish
34:12your emotional hold over him.
34:14But it hasn't, has it?
34:15But Marilyn resists,
34:17laying out her own terms
34:18for helping.
34:19Only if you'll agree
34:19to have me transferred here
34:21permanently as a patient
34:22and not a prisoner.
34:24Fairburn refuses
34:24and orders her locked in solitary
34:26and sent back to prison.
34:27Ugh, you've made your point.
34:30I'm willing to help.
34:30All I ask is that
34:32you let me see Tyler
34:33face to face,
34:34just once, please.
34:36When they bring her to him,
34:37Tyler approaches silently.
34:39I know, baby.
34:40I missed you too.
34:41Until his body contorts
34:43into the hide.
34:43He seizes Marilyn by the throat
34:45Well, mom, I'm down.
34:46I promise I'll get you out of here.
34:48And hurls her into the wall.
34:50Elsewhere, in a quiet cemetery,
34:52Wednesday finds the urn
34:53of Patricia Redcar,
34:55an outcast whose obituary
34:56she discovered
34:57in Galpin's cabin.
34:58Her grandmother,
34:59Hester, arrives.
35:00Curious about her interest,
35:01Wednesday shows her
35:02the collection of obituaries.
35:04All patients at Willow Hill.
35:05They're all cremated
35:06and buried here.
35:07Explaining she witnessed
35:08her roommate's death
35:09in a vision
35:09and believes these deaths
35:11are connected.
35:12Hester urges her
35:13to smell Patricia's ashes,
35:14and Wednesday realizes
35:15they're fake.
35:16Squirrel and raccoon,
35:17and I said I'll finish
35:18a shih tzu.
35:18Very good.
35:19What's missing?
35:20Human.
35:21Watching from above,
35:22the one-eyed crow swoops in,
35:23snatching the obituary papers
35:25before flying off
35:26to a shadowy figure.
35:27Wednesday gives chase
35:29but loses them both.
35:30Turning to her grandmother,
35:31she asked her
35:31to buy the cemetery.
35:33I need you to buy
35:33the cemetery
35:34and find out
35:34who authorized
35:35those cremations.
35:36Why would I do
35:36something so rash?
35:38Because once you told
35:38my mother that you're
35:39finally getting me
35:40into the family business,
35:41all of her childhood
35:42insecurities will come
35:43bubbling to the surface.
35:44Well played, my dear.
35:45Back at Nevermore,
35:46the one-eyed crow
35:47lingers nearby,
35:48tracking Wednesday's
35:49every move.
35:50She barges into Enid's room
35:51to find her and Bruno
35:52mid-makeout,
35:53only to realize
35:54Agnes is there as well.
35:56How long have you been here?
35:57Somewhere between...
35:58and...
35:59Let's go.
36:02Stay out of my room,
36:03you little creep.
36:04After the two leave,
36:05Agnes hands Wednesday
36:06a letter from her publisher.
36:08Wednesday opens it
36:09to find a rejection
36:10of her novel,
36:11along with the suggestion
36:12that she seek
36:12psychological help.
36:14Regrettably,
36:14I must drop you
36:15as a writer.
36:15Please seek help.
36:16Any luck getting
36:17your work published?
36:18Editors are short-sighted,
36:19fear-based life forms.
36:20One wants to square my writing
36:21as gratuitously morbid
36:23and suggested
36:23I seek psychiatric help.
36:25Ironic, isn't it?
36:25How did you take that?
36:26I sent her a thank you.
36:32I've always been open
36:33to constructive criticism.
36:34I'm glad to hear that.
36:36I'm sorry.
36:37Why?
36:37I'd rather no one
36:38read my novel
36:39than make a compromise.
36:40Still smarting
36:41from the blow,
36:42Wednesday heads
36:42to the clock tower
36:43to meet Uncle Fester.
36:44She tells him
36:45she has a mission
36:46that will require him
36:47to infiltrate Willow Hill.
36:48Fester recalls
36:49the last time
36:50he was there
36:50was to check on
36:51Aunt Ophelia
36:52for Morticia.
36:55Nobody sneaks up
36:56on me, kid.
36:57She with you?
36:58This is my stalker.
36:58I turned her
36:59into an unpaid
37:00expendable gopher.
37:01A stampede
37:01of chupacabras
37:02makes less noise
37:03than you.
37:04Learn to hold your breath
37:05and walk on the seams
37:06of the floorboards.
37:07She produces
37:08a blueprint
37:08of the hospital.
37:09Wednesday tells him
37:10his job
37:11is to get inside
37:11Willow Hill
37:12and locate someone
37:13named Lois.
37:14Could be a patient,
37:15could be a doctor.
37:16Later,
37:16Fester checks into
37:17the Apple Hollow Inn
37:18with money stained
37:19by an anti-theft dye pack.
37:21Within minutes,
37:21he causes a disturbance
37:22that prompts the receptionist
37:24to call the police.
37:25Sheriff Santiago arrives
37:26with backup,
37:27ordering her deputies
37:28to search the other rooms
37:29while she deals
37:30with Fester.
37:31In one of those rooms,
37:32a deputy finds
37:33Bianca's mother
37:33and takes her into custody.
37:37Santiago also places
37:38Uncle Fester
37:39under arrest.
37:40At the station,
37:41Sheriff Santiago
37:42questions Fester,
37:43but his erratic antics
37:44make any straight answers
37:45impossible.
37:46Check this out.
37:47Bank robber
37:48who eluded arrest
37:49last year.
37:50Putting these up
37:50around town
37:51is a bank robbery
37:52suspect
37:52and he's a real creep.
37:54You haven't seen him,
37:55have you?
37:55Frustrated,
37:56she orders
37:56Dr. Fairburn called in
37:58so he can be transferred
37:59to Willow Hill.
38:00Santiago also learns
38:01that Bianca's mother
38:02had been living at the inn
38:03in secret,
38:04an unsolved mystery
38:05no one saw coming.
38:06At Nevermore,
38:07Eugene, Pugsley
38:08and Ajax
38:09are serving punishment
38:10for the slurp incident
38:11at camp.
38:12Ajax protests,
38:13claiming he's just
38:14their resident advisor,
38:15but Principal Dort
38:16isn't swayed.
38:17Bianca joins them
38:18to sort fundraiser invitations,
38:20only to be bombarded
38:21with texts from her mother
38:22urging her to come
38:23to the station.
38:24She asks to leave,
38:25but Dort refuses
38:26and instructs Dr. Orloff
38:27to keep watch.
38:29Ajax notices Bianca's phone
38:30lighting up again.
38:31She admits her mother
38:32is in trouble,
38:33but says she can't leave
38:34and her siren song
38:35won't work on Dr. Orloff,
38:37whose head lives
38:37in a glass tube.
38:38Ajax simply removes
38:40his beanie,
38:40turning Orloff to stone.
38:42Eugene and Pugsley
38:43beg to come along,
38:44but Bianca hits them
38:45with a siren command
38:46to stay.
38:46At the police station,
38:47Bianca arrives with Ajax
38:49and claims the woman
38:50they've detained
38:50is her mother.
38:51She smoothly sirens
38:52the officers into
38:53dropping the case
38:54and erasing
38:54all related records.
38:56At Rotwood Cottage,
38:57Wednesday visits Morticia,
38:58who assumes she's come
38:59to beg for Goody's book.
39:01Instead,
39:01Wednesday asks
39:02why Aunt Ophelia
39:03was sent to Willow Hill.
39:04After some hesitation,
39:06Morticia explains
39:07that Ophelia shed
39:08black tears,
39:09just like Wednesday,
39:10and pushed her abilities
39:11too far.
39:12I pleaded with Grandmama
39:13that Ophelia
39:14would only get worse
39:15in Willow Hill,
39:15that her problems
39:16weren't mental,
39:17they were psychic.
39:18But my appeals
39:19fell on deaf ears.
39:21Grandmama was always
39:22better at burying things
39:23than fixing them.
39:24To Morticia's surprise,
39:25Hester arrives,
39:26handing Wednesday
39:27the deed to the cemetery
39:28she just purchased.
39:29As Wednesday departs,
39:30Hester whispers a name.
39:32Augustus Stonehurst,
39:34let's assign
39:34those death certificates.
39:36Morticia accuses her
39:37of trying to turn
39:38Wednesday against her.
39:39They argue over Ophelia
39:40until Hester offers
39:41to donate to Nevermore
39:42in exchange for giving
39:44Wednesday Goody's
39:44book of spells.
39:45Morticia refuses,
39:47pulls out the book,
39:48and throws it into the fire.
39:49At Willow Hill,
39:50Uncle Fester chats
39:51with Dr. Fairburn,
39:52revealing he spent
39:53most of his life
39:54in psychiatric hospitals.
39:55Fester Dubois,
39:58Fester Fumagalli,
40:00and my personal favorite,
40:01Fester Fiesta.
40:03What is your real name?
40:05It's just Fester.
40:06Like an open wound.
40:07A brain scan confirms
40:08he literally has nails
40:09and scissors
40:10lodged inside his skull,
40:12prompting Fairburn
40:12to officially admit him.
40:14While poking around
40:14for Lois,
40:15he mistakes the cook
40:16Louise for her.
40:18Lois?
40:19No.
40:20Oh, your name's Louise.
40:22The misunderstanding
40:23doesn't stop him
40:24from making out with her,
40:25thanks to their
40:25instant chemistry.
40:27Meanwhile, at Nevermore,
40:28the mysterious crow controller
40:29infiltrates the school.
40:31Agnes informs Wednesday
40:32that Augustus Stonehurst
40:33was once a normie
40:34science teacher
40:34at Nevermore
40:35and a doctor at Willow Hill
40:36now lying in a comatose
40:38state there.
40:39Wednesday sends Thing
40:40to relay the intel
40:41to Fester.
40:41I think he might be
40:42our key to finding Lois.
40:43Enid confronts her,
40:44demanding to know
40:45why she's been shut out
40:46and whether their friendship
40:47still means anything,
40:48or if she's been replaced
40:50by Agnes.
40:51Before Wednesday can answer,
40:52a swarm of crows descends,
40:54attacking.
40:55Controlled by the mystery figure,
40:56they force Wednesday
40:57and Enid
40:58to duck behind a table.
40:59Principal Dort
41:00and Morticia
41:00rush in,
41:01Dort hurling fireballs.
41:03One crow snatches Thing,
41:04but Dort's aim
41:05forces it to drop him,
41:06and Enid catches him midair.
41:09Wednesday spots
41:10the hooded figure fleeing
41:11and gives chase,
41:12but they escape,
41:13leaving only their
41:13dark hoodie behind.
41:15Backtracking,
41:15she finds Dr. Fairburn
41:16in the same room
41:17and grows suspicious.
41:19I think you dropped this.
41:20Excuse me?
41:21What brings you to Nevermore,
41:22Dr. Fairburn?
41:22Fairburn claims
41:23she's visiting Miss Capri
41:24about musical therapy
41:25at Willow Hill.
41:26Capri enters,
41:27out of breath.
41:28You seem out of breath.
41:29It's been a long day.
41:32I assume you're here
41:33to drop out of the gala orchestra.
41:35I've decided to stick around.
41:37Every Mozart needs their Salieri.
41:38As Dr. Fairburn leaves Nevermore,
41:40Thing slips unseen
41:41into her car.
41:42Watching from a window,
41:44Wednesday is approached
41:44by Morticia,
41:45who demands to know
41:46why Uncle Fester
41:47is at Willow Hill.
41:48We both know
41:49he only gets caught
41:50when he wants to.
41:51When Wednesday admits
41:52he's helping
41:52with her investigation,
41:54Morticia warns
41:54that pressing forward
41:55will only make things worse,
41:57but Wednesday refuses to stop.
41:59Inside Willow Hill,
42:00Thing meets Fester
42:01and instructs him
42:02to find Augustus,
42:03who is the key
42:04to uncovering Lois.
42:05Fester asks a guard
42:06about Augustus,
42:07and the man leads him
42:08directly to the comatose
42:10former doctor.
42:11Augustus is unable to speak,
42:13but his parrot
42:13answers for him.
42:15Lois?
42:15Shut your pie hole.
42:16Excuse me?
42:17Eat shit, Baldy.
42:18After a small jolt
42:19of electricity from Fester,
42:20the bird blurts out
42:21a number connected to Lois.
42:2251971.
42:2451971.
42:25Fester wheels Augustus
42:26back to his room,
42:27passing Marilyn,
42:28who instantly recognizes
42:29his name.
42:30Fester, get a move on.
42:31Lights out in 20.
42:33Fester Adams.
42:34As they pass a door
42:35marked maintenance room,
42:37Augustus points
42:37and says,
42:38Lois.
42:39Once Augustus is in bed,
42:40Fester sneaks back
42:41toward the door.
42:42In Dr. Fairburn's office,
42:44Marilyn reports
42:45spotting Fester
42:45at the facility,
42:46warning it can only mean
42:48Wednesday is prying
42:48into the doctor's business.
42:50In exchange for the tip,
42:51she demands to work
42:52alongside Fairburn on Tyler.
42:54Moments later,
42:54Fairburn and her guards
42:55catch Fester trying to
42:56enter the maintenance room
42:57and knock him out.
42:59When he wakes,
42:59she informs him
43:00he's being sent to solitary
43:02with slurp.
43:03Thing watches from the shadows,
43:04then races back
43:05to Nevermore
43:06to tell Wednesday.
43:07At Nevermore,
43:07Bianca and Ajax
43:09smuggle her mother
43:09into the school.
43:11Navigating the tunnels,
43:12they nearly run
43:12into Principal Dort,
43:14but manage to slip away unseen.
43:16Meanwhile,
43:17Wednesday questions
43:18Dr. Orloff
43:18about Augustus' past
43:20as a science teacher.
43:21She learns he was a normie
43:22and had a young daughter
43:23at the time.
43:24Thing reports Wednesday
43:25of what he saw.
43:26She sends him
43:26straight back to Willow Hill
43:27to keep watch on Fester
43:28until she has a breakout plan.
43:30Wednesday gathers her friends
43:31to outline the infiltration.
43:33Ms. Capri's upcoming music class
43:34at Willow Hill
43:35will provide their window.
43:36Capri has a music therapy class
43:38tonight at Willow Hill.
43:39She's her way in and out.
43:40Thing has already secured
43:41help from the cook
43:42who will get her to Fester
43:43so they can find Lois together.
43:45Agnes will create a distraction
43:46at the gates
43:47to ease entry.
43:48Enid, tired of being sidelined,
43:49demands to join.
43:51Wednesday agrees,
43:51assigning her as lookout
43:52and instructs her
43:53to call Sheriff Santiago
43:54if things go wrong.
43:56Wednesday hides inside
43:57Ms. Capri's trunk
43:58as she drives toward Willow Hill
43:59where Agnes is already stationed
44:01at the security post.
44:02When a guard begins
44:03searching the car,
44:04Agnes triggers an explosion
44:05in the security bathroom.
44:07Pulling attention away
44:08from the checkpoint
44:08and letting Wednesday
44:09slip through.
44:10Inside, the cook guides
44:12her past patrols
44:13and straight to Fester's cell.
44:14She breaks him out
44:15but leaves the door ajar,
44:16allowing Slurp
44:17to tear free of his chains.
44:19The creature barrels
44:20through the facility,
44:21attacking the guards
44:22holding Marilyn,
44:23giving her a chance
44:24to escape.
44:24As she sprints past Wednesday,
44:26the two lock eyes,
44:27neither speaking.
44:28Meanwhile,
44:29Ms. Capri's music class
44:30turns into a dramatic
44:31piano performance.
44:32The sirens cut her short
44:33as Dr. Fairburn is alerted
44:35that the zombie is loose.
44:36Wednesday and Fester
44:37reach the maintenance room
44:38only to discover
44:39its affront,
44:40an entrance to the
44:41long-term outcast
44:42integration system,
44:43or LOIS.
44:44Beneath the hospital
44:45lies a secret lab
44:46where outcasts,
44:47whose obituaries
44:48Wednesday has been investigating,
44:49are imprisoned
44:50for experimentation.
44:51Among them
44:52is a pale,
44:53unrecorded woman.
44:54Hello?
44:55Are you here to kill me
44:57and leave me alone?
44:58The crow-controlling stranger
44:59steps forward,
45:01revealing herself
45:01as Judy Stonehurst,
45:03Augustus' daughter.
45:04She explains
45:05Lois' true purpose,
45:06extracting unique abilities
45:07from outcasts
45:08and transferring them
45:09to normies.
45:10She was her father's
45:11first success,
45:12a normie turned avian
45:13after invasive experiments.
45:16Experimenting on his
45:17own daughter,
45:17that's twisted.
45:18Even by my own
45:19six standards.
45:20That, I volunteered.
45:22My father and I
45:22were a team.
45:23He needed a subject.
45:24I wanted to be part
45:25of his legacy.
45:26Until he lost his mind,
45:27he wanted to be a Da Vinci,
45:29but his body
45:29couldn't take it.
45:30With no other escape,
45:31Fester unleashes
45:32a massive shockwave
45:33that knocks out
45:34the hospital's
45:34entire power grid.
45:36Enid, on lookout,
45:37immediately calls
45:38Sheriff Santiago.
45:39In the chaos,
45:40the test subjects
45:40break free,
45:41swarming Judy
45:42as she struggles
45:43to fight them off.
45:44Wednesday seizes
45:44the moment,
45:45pulling the pale woman
45:46from her cell
45:47and disappearing
45:47into the dark.
45:48Chaos erupts
45:49as guards
45:49try to contain Slurp.
45:51Marilyn breaks free
45:52from her handcuffs
45:53and releases Tyler
45:54from his chains.
45:55Still resentful
45:55over the past,
45:56Tyler grabs her,
45:57threatening to kill her.
45:59Marilyn pleads,
45:59revealing that
46:00Wednesday is in the building
46:01and is the real enemy
46:02they should target.
46:03Tyler agrees to handle
46:04Wednesday,
46:04but gives Marilyn
46:05a five-second head start
46:06to run.
46:06As soon as she flees,
46:08he transforms
46:08into the hide
46:09and hunts her down.
46:10She isn't fast enough.
46:11He catches her
46:12and fatally impales her
46:13with his claws.
46:14Elsewhere,
46:15Uncle Fester
46:15bids the cook farewell
46:17with a passionate kiss,
46:18thanking her
46:18for all her help.
46:19In her office,
46:20Dr. Fairburn
46:21shields Augustus,
46:22unaware that Slurp
46:23has slipped inside.
46:24Slurp attacks
46:25and devours her,
46:26then greets Augustus
46:27as an old friend
46:28before making him
46:32his next victim.
46:33In the hospital hall,
46:34Tyler locks eyes
46:34with Wednesday.
46:35He charges,
46:36but she stands her ground.
46:37Tyler shoves her
46:38through a window,
46:39sending her crashing
46:40to the floor
46:40just as police arrive.
46:41They open fire,
46:42but he attacks the officers
46:44and escapes.
46:45This concludes
