00:00okay this is the review for the windshield repair kit by rainx so what i'm trying to do here is

00:06repair the crack that i have right here it started two days ago and it ran down to here what i'm

00:13trying to do is stop the crack from getting worse and that's the most important thing and if we could

00:19hide it a little bit that would be also good so uh let's go ahead and get the kit out and then

00:25we'll apply this product here and see it will it would stop the crack okay so since the crack is in

00:33such a awkward position it's really hard to get to here what i did was i took the resin out and i just

00:40follow the line and i just put a layer of the resin there right down the tape is to help me see where

00:49the crack is the kit comes with these uh clear plastic right here and it says to put on top of

00:56the resin and that is exactly what i did okay so another thing you have to do is let the resin dry

01:05in the sun for at least 30 minutes and so i did that and i started to pull the plastic piece off

01:11and what happens is the resin will build up right here you see along the plastic and then it creates

01:19like a layer a really really tough layer and then you have to scrape the the you know the excess off

01:27and so here i started already to scrape it off and the crack that was uh to here kind of disappeared

01:34you see it it you can't see the crack anymore because the resin kind of covered it up okay i cleaned

01:41up everything now and the crack is not as noticeable as it was before uh in the camera you really can't

01:49see much of it but there is actually a a crack line and that you can see it in person but it's not as bad

01:57as it was before we fixed it but i knew that was the case all i wanted was to stop the crack from

02:03spreading so let's go take a look on the inside you can actually see a lot more on the inside

02:09okay so here is the inside and as you can see see if i move it around there you can see the crack

02:15right there and uh yeah you can see pretty well on the inside and that's exactly what i was expecting

02:22i knew this was not going to fix these lines crack so uh i'm gonna drive it for a week and see if the

02:30crack will continue to go down and if it doesn't this product worked exactly as i want it and i will give

02:37it a a plus for that okay i actually drove it around for two weeks and the crack did not go any further

02:45than where it was which is a great thing uh that is what i was expecting it to do so in my book that is

02:53an a plus if i had done it sooner as soon as i found it it would have been just right here to the crack

03:00but i waited too long so it was down here so uh if you are looking for something to stop your crack

03:07from spreading this is a great product but just remember that it's not going to fix uh you know and

03:14make it go away it's just gonna stop the crack from spreading uh if you have a little a little scratch

03:20then it would probably fix it but anyway that is it guys it is a great product for for stopping crack

03:27from uh spreading further so make sure you do it early
