00:00if you want to go ahead and compress out last videos for upload or email then what you can
00:16actually do is you can utilize handbrake for it so for that I can go around over here on
00:21to file menu and let's just go around over here on to the videos folder itself where I have a
00:28particular video right here and if I were to go around on to properties you can see that this is
00:3341.4 megabyte right here so this is not compressed so this is uncompressed so let's just go ahead and
00:40select this and open it up and the video gets loaded so now in order to compress it I'm going
00:46to go for web optimized right here which is much more much more efficient for web uploads so over
00:54here you can see that mp4 format is the file right here and that is what you have so now on the
01:00dimension side you can see that the same dimension is here which is fine but you can also go ahead
01:06and then decrease out the dimension if you want to as well so let's just go ahead and select out let's
01:12say for example 720p right here just like this or you can go around for optimal size so let's just go
01:18around on to 480 and then it decreases the file size right there as well so over here you don't need to
01:24work around with filters or anything but over here in the video section you might want to change around
01:29the bitrate right here so I'm just going to go ahead and then add in a lower bitrate like 500 kbps
01:36right here which is ideal for a web uploads right here so you can see that the video encoder is s.264
01:44right now but you want to make it smaller so I'm just going to go ahead and utilize s.265 right here
01:50so you can go ahead and choose the encoding level at the highest as well and then what happens is that
01:56it goes ahead and utilizes that out so I'm just going to go ahead and change this out to mp4 right
02:03here just like this and start the encoding process right here so utilizing that particular options it
02:10simply goes ahead and then compresses this out right here so you can see that it's using double pass
02:18it's analyzing all of the contents right here so that it can turn it into a final efficient video
02:24file so you can see that it's completed now and then this is what you have right here so this is the
02:32compressed one so let's just go ahead and rename it out right here and see its file size so let's just
02:38go around over here onto properties and you can see this is 1.43 megabytes right here compared to the
02:45uncompressed right here which is actually 41.4 so now with the regular windows player it does not play
02:52out because it is s.265 so let's just go ahead open it up with vlc media player and you can see that this
02:59is the file that you have right here and all of this right here 23 seconds of footage has been fit into
03:06a one megabyte file and that is how you can compress out lost videos for upload an email and fit a lot of
03:15uh video details in small file size using handbrake so i hope you guys learned something as always
03:23and as always please like comment share and subscribe
