00:10In a Facebook post, Anwar said they exchanged views on strengthening strategic ties between

00:21He added that the reciprocal tariff agreement currently under negotiation would safeguard

00:26the interests of both nations and support future business planning.

00:31Also present at the meeting was U.S. Ambassador to Malaysia, Edgard Kagan.

00:36Following his meeting with Anwar, Greer attended the ASEAN Economic Minister's gathering at

00:41the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

00:45On Wednesday, Greer said the U.S. seeks more balanced trade with Southeast Asia and expects

00:50to finalize several agreements with ASEAN countries in the coming weeks.
