00:00I think the quality overall today was pretty good on what we've seen the last two store sales probably.
00:05We're starting to see some bigger lines line up, some steers come through, a lot of practice and empty heifers coming through.
00:11People are taking the money and running on those, not sure what the season's going to do going forward.
00:16But I'd say overall, your cattle over 300 kilos, very good.
00:20Your cattle under 250 or 300, the quality's probably slipping away.
00:24And you're talking sort of 230 or 40 kilo steers and heifers that might be 12 or 13 months old.
00:31And look, they're still making really good money, but the quality's not quite there.
00:34We've seen most of your feed of heifers, $4.80 to $4.95, the odd pen getting to $5.00, stepping down your weights.
00:43A lot of those heifers are making $4.80 to $5.20, pretty well it costs some more.
00:50You can put a blanket over that for your Angus and all the heifers.
00:52Culled heifers, yeah, you step down a little bit there.
00:56If you come down in your weight, you might be $5.00, $20.00, $30.00 or $40.00, really depending on the actual article.
01:04So we just need to continue to get rain in this area.
01:07We're looking pretty good at the moment, pretty fortunate.
01:10But yeah, people need to make hay, people need to get grass in the panache and get that next record of weaners coming on.
01:15And not be price takers, let's be price makers if we can get that rain.
01:22Let's see.
