The Himayat Sagar and Usman Sagar twin reservoirs have become full due to the torrential rains that have been lashing the city for the past two days. As the flood was coming from the upper reaches, the officials opened the project gates and released the water downstream. The flood reached Musi after the gates of the twin reservoirs were opened.
