00:03We were considering how to enter Americas.

00:06One option was to buy the existing MRO company somewhere in the United States

00:12or to build a new one.

00:14And to build a new one in the United States or somewhere else.

00:18So after the evaluation of all these options,

00:21we made the decision that we want to have a new MRO somewhere in Central America

00:27because of the low cost.

00:30And we can get the customers

00:32because the airlines in the United States are looking for better cost solutions.

00:38And the establishment of the MRO is much cheaper in this area than in the United States.

00:48We did a lot of investigations of the market and the calculations

00:54and that decision to go for Americas, to go to Punta Cana, to Dominican Republic,

01:00it's not because of the nice climate and sunny weather, you know.

01:04It's based on the very serious considerations, business considerations and collaboration.

01:09We feel the support from the people for that project

01:17because they understand that we bring investment,

01:19we bring new technologies,

01:22we bring more opportunities,

01:24we bring more aircraft,

01:26because each aircraft when it comes to the airport

01:29it pays the taxes to the local airport,

01:32and the airport pays the taxes to the government, you know.

01:35So it's more money to come to the country.

01:39Because what we will do, we will do the export, you know.

01:42If the companies, the airlines from different countries will come to do the maintenance,

01:48they will leave the money into the country.

01:51But the attractiveness was that, you know,

01:54there is the airport which is busy,

01:57a lot of aircraft are coming from different parts of the world.

02:0150% of the passengers are from the United States.

02:05And then we agreed on a good attractive price for the hangar rent and so on.

02:12Location is good, you know, geographic location is good.

02:16And then we made the decision that we can train local people.

02:20And I believe that we will be an attractive employer for the local guys,

02:26you know, to work innovation maintenance.

02:31We understand that there are no experienced bay managers in Dominique Republic.

02:38That's why we bring them from Lithuania, from our hangar.

02:42And to become a bay manager, it will take some time.

02:45But it's a normal situation.

02:48We knew that it will be like this, you know.

02:52And that experience, you know, it takes time as I said before.

02:55So, we don't feel at the moment any challenges that we were not expecting.

03:04You know, because this is the hangar,

03:08New hangar we built in 2014 in Kaunas.

03:12Then 17, 16, 17 Jakarta.

03:15Then last year Bali.

03:17And now we have Punta Khan.

03:22So, Phil Techniques is not one company, it's the group.

03:24It's of 24 companies now.

03:27We have all the certificates which is needed, you know.

03:31Airline industry is very strictly regulated.

03:34Starting from pilot training, aircraft maintenance, aircraft production.

03:41Of course, everywhere people make mistakes, you know.

03:44But the quality system we have in aviation,

03:47it's, you know, it doesn't allow to make...

03:51Retire agencies.

03:52Yeah, so the percentage is very, very, very small.
