Vaping’s lack of lingering smell and fire risk means that many users vape freely wherever they choose. It starts in the home, then graduates to more explicitly forbidden locations as a vaper grows in confidence. For every untriggered fire alarm, a vaper becomes increasingly emboldened. You no longer think, ‘Where shouldn’t I vape?’ but instead ‘Where couldn’t I vape?’

00:00i think it could be like a little bit disrespectful with some people who doesn't smoke or who have like
00:05uh health issues and i think like as gen c they just don't think about it they just do it because
00:11they want to also because of like the lack of smell people feel comfortable smoking around
00:16other people not double like not thinking whether like it might bother other people like personally
00:20it bothers me because i'm still thinking like that that's like physical secondhand smoke yeah
00:24like i don't want to smell that you know even though it smells like i don't know passion fruit
00:29i still like don't want to inhale that one of my classmates just brought away to class
00:33and he started smoking in the restroom like the common restroom of the classrooms and the other
00:39student who was not okay with it he ended up having like almost like a fit because of the whole smoke
00:45because there was no area for it to escape and it all went into people that were not okay with it so
00:49i've seen people they inside trains or like restaurants and like that's pretty standard and then
00:56i see people complain to them older generations complain to gen z and i was thinking this one
01:00specific scenario and she got so mad at him she said i'm not vaping in your face i also agree that
01:04was really rude you shouldn't be vaping inside trains or like public areas but it takes you back to when
01:09smoking was allowed inside of restaurants and that was a regular thing there are people that respectfully
01:15know that they go to the smoking areas or they go out of class to vape there's nothing wrong with that
01:20that's very respectable but then there should be like stricter action taken against people that
01:26decide to do it in a classroom or in a restroom that clearly does not have ventilation enough to
01:31be vaping there usually people stick to the etiquette there's exceptions you know like the odd person who
01:37might vape in the toilets in the airport but it doesn't doesn't bother me i feel like it's been where
01:43it is at for many for like a few years i feel like i'm kind of used to it there are a lot of people that
01:49do know how to do it respectfully so to say that gen z are getting out of hand that's not fair
01:54it's just some people are getting out of hand maybe it's more popular among the young
01:59people but um i think if we need to be concerned about something it's probably about children vaping
02:05and not about you know gen z or adults regulations started to happen towards smoking and i think the
02:10same thing will happen for vaping it's just that it's a new industry that we don't know very much about
02:16yet and it's it's being spoken about like through these things so it's really about education it
02:22comes from home or stricter regulations because people do are scared of fines they don't want to
02:28pay up money for vaping so i think that could work
