00:00Is there a particular game of interest that you would like to start with right off the jump?
00:04I would like to start with the top 10 tilt in Eugene.
00:07Inside Autzen Stadium, it's number three, Oregon.
00:09It's number seven, Indiana.
00:11And one of the reasons I want to start there, Bobby,
00:13is because of the magnitude of this game for both sides,
00:17but largely for the Hoosiers, in their third top 10 game under Kurt Cignetti,
00:21who became the head coach to start 2024 in the prior 125 years of IU football.
00:28They had played in two top 10 games.
00:31I guess that should date back to the start of the AP poll in 1936.
00:34But still, more top 10 matchups for Indiana in the last year,
00:38plus under Cignetti than they had seen in the previous history of that program.
00:43And last year, when they were in their first top 10 tilt in Columbus against Ohio State,
00:48it was that first litmus test for the Hoosiers.
00:50They had been unreal in the way that they had performed against the software competition,
00:56but how would they step up in class?
00:58Wasn't a great success.
01:00Of course, the college football playoff game against Notre Dame, losing by 10.
01:04Not a great success.
01:05And two of those touchdowns in the game coming in the final 90 seconds of regulation.
01:11This year feels slightly different.
01:13This year feels like Indiana is further legitimizing what we saw last year.
01:17Not an anomaly by any means, but it is real.
01:20And we should take even greater stock in Indiana, maybe becoming a football program in Bloomington.
01:27But I think for that to really have legs, guys, they need to stay within this game.
01:31It's a seven and a half point spread in the betting markets are buying into the Hoosiers.
01:35Probably not what you would expect based on Indiana struggles against the best of the best a season ago
01:41and kind of the narrative around Cignetti and this Indiana program.
01:44Line opened at nine and a half on Sunday afternoon, both the betting public and the betting sharps on the Hoosiers
01:50expecting Indiana to stay in this game against one of the best teams in the country in Oregon
01:55and one of the best atmospheres in college football in Autzen Stadium.
