00:00We'll turn our attention to the 3-30 kick in Athens.
00:03No bigger game.
00:05Undefeated Ole Miss goes on the road.
00:07They're seven-point underdogs against Georgia.
00:10Georgia got their 33-game home winning streak snapped a couple of weeks ago by Alabama.
00:16They did get right in back-to-back wins over Kentucky and Auburn.
00:21They now come back home.
00:22The last two wins, Coach, over the Rebels and Athens have been, by an average margin of victory,
00:28of 31 points per game.
00:30We saw Ole Miss struggle last week as a 31-and-a-half-point favorite against Washington State.
00:36How do you see this game playing out Saturday afternoon?
00:39Well, let's go back.
00:41Washington State was a trap game, and they overcame it.
00:43They knew they had Georgia, and that's part of football.
00:47At least they won their trap game.
00:49And now they've got to go to Georgia.
00:52And that's the big issue right now is can that football team
00:55and can that quarterback handle the atmosphere that is playing between the hedges in Athens, Georgia?
01:04That's going to be against a very, very good football team.
01:07And that's going to be the question that has to be answered.
01:10And that's the one I think you won't be ready for.
01:12I don't think anything can prepare that young quarterback for that atmosphere that he's going to get into.
01:18It's a very good football team, and they're going to try to put some heat on him.
01:21And so we'll see where that goes, but I really think Georgia at home, the way they've been playing.
01:27And let me say this.
01:28I don't think Georgia is going to lose two at home in one year.
01:30They've already lost that one game.
01:32I can't see them losing another one at home a week and a half or two weeks after they lost the last game at home.
01:38So to me, this is going to be a tough environment.
01:40The biggest thing they've got is the environment,
01:42and how will that affect a quarterback that really has never stepped into that type of scenery and that type of arena?
01:50I think it's going to be a tough one to overcome.
01:54It's interesting because I think the matchup for me is we talked about last year,
01:58and you were on the game on the sidelines against Georgia and Ole Miss.
02:03You were in Oxford and thought that Ole Miss was the superior football team on both interior lines,
02:08especially on the defensive front seven.
02:10They had one of the best rush defenses in the conference and in all the FBS last year,
02:15only allowing 80 rushing yards per game.
02:18Fast forward to this year, they're giving up $1.57 on the ground,
02:21and that's the strength of Georgia still entering this matchup,
02:25rushing for 185 yards on the ground.
02:28So do you feel like Ole Miss, they shut down Tulane, they shut down LSU in the rushing attack?
02:35Can they have that type of effort on the road?
02:37If so, they potentially could be in margin in this ballgame.
02:41Yeah, LSU doesn't have the running attack that Georgia has.
02:45Georgia is going to run that football pretty well, and by doing that,
02:49they're going to keep Ole Miss' offense off the field.
02:53They're going to control that clock.
02:54Now, Georgia's got to get a quick start.
02:56They can't afford to keep falling behind like they've been doing.
03:00Auburn was the same situation, almost got too far behind to come back and win that football game,
03:05but they did.
03:06So I think Georgia's got to get a fast start, got to drive down and get some points early
03:10and not play from behind, and that includes running the football
03:16because running the football keeps Ole Miss' offense off the field.
03:20That young quarterback cannot even be part of the equation if he's on the bench
03:24while Georgia's offense is driving down the field.
03:27That's a great point.
03:29And the other factor that I did just want to bring up,
03:31because we look at Kirby Smart's defense against the first half against Jackson Arnold,
03:37his mobility put some pressure on the RPO game.
03:40Last year with Jalen Milrow in the first half, he abused them on the ground as well.
03:45So the mobility of Trinidad Chambliss, too, in the RPO game is something
03:49that I think Kirby and that defense have to watch.
03:52How important is it for Chambliss on the ground as opposed through the air
03:55to potentially win this game?
03:57Just get your thoughts about an offensive philosophy from Lane Kiffin in this matchup.
04:02Well, I will have that quarterback prepped.
04:05As they throw the football, don't go to second or third receiver too often.
04:10Hit your first receiver or take off.
04:12Hit your first receiver or overthrow it.
04:14Throw it away.
04:14Do not sit in that pocket and let yourself get hit,
04:17because they're going to pound that quarterback if they can.
04:20So they've got to make sure he understands.
04:22Take a look and take off.
04:23It's not so much that you have quarterback running plays,
04:25but the quarterback back makes good runs out of pass plays.
04:29And I think that's what Trinidad Chambliss can do
04:33if they're going to have a chance to win this game.
