00:00Greetings, Traitors superfan, and welcome to the Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked with me, Ed Gamble.
00:06This is your official companion visualized podcast unpacking everything from the show.
00:11So, make sure you've watched episode 4, please, because a world full of spoilers is coming at you right now.
00:17Coming up on Uncloaked, we catch up with Claire Balding straight after her shocking banishment.
00:23Murdered Ruth Cod spills the tea on her castle experience.
00:26We have the exclusive moment I revealed to them both the identity of our traitors.
00:30Plus, it's only castle royalty. Series 2 faithful Diane and Series 2 traitor Paul are both here.
00:41Diane and Paul, welcome back to Uncloaked, the pair of you. Very excited to have you with us again.
00:46Thank you for having us.
00:47Yeah, this is lovely.
00:48And we should clarify right at the top, Diane, Paul isn't your son.
00:53But Ross is.
00:54Well, thank you. It's a legal requirement that you have to do that every time you're on, Diane, so thank you.
00:58Indeed.
00:59We're going to chat to Murdered Ruth very shortly, but first, I have to get your reaction to that Wailing Banshee's mission.
01:06La, la, la.
01:08La, la, la.
01:14La, la, la.
01:16Right.
01:17I've got it.
01:18La, la, la.
01:19Well, Diane, you were saying, weren't you, we were just practising that you could do the wailing.
01:25I was saying that, but actually, I wasn't. That's an absolute lie.
01:28Paul was a traitor and continues to be a traitor.
01:31He was demonstrating the Banshee noise, so go for it.
01:35Oh!
01:36Something like that, wasn't it?
01:37Yeah.
01:37Were you one of the Banshees?
01:38No, I wasn't, Ed.
01:41Oh, you think I was?
01:42Well, you know.
01:43There's a bit of, you know, there's a bit of talk of maybe I was involved in traitors at some point.
01:46One of them had a little bit of swagger.
01:49Yeah.
01:49He had some nice trainers on, and I was thinking, hold on a minute, I recognise that.
01:53He had corduroys on.
01:54Which Banshee had nice trainers on?
01:56I think that, look, this is a show with very high production values.
02:00I don't think they'd let Nike slip through on a Banshee.
02:02No, definitely not.
02:04The one thing about the mission was it just emphasises, again, that all the celebrities that are lined up for this show are so invested because they were really going for it, which makes it even better.
02:20It does.
02:21You know, you would expect maybe some of the celebrities wouldn't be up for dunking their heads under the water or screaming down a well.
02:26I know.
02:27We can't talk about the Banshee mission without hearing what Celia's first thought was.
02:32Well, you know what you're doing in a well, don't you?
02:35What?
02:36Put the pussy in.
02:39Exactly what we're all thinking, Celia.
02:41I think I speak for everyone when I agree with you there.
02:44Can we have a small explanation?
02:46It's one of those nursery rhymes.
02:49Well, come on.
02:50What we were all thinking, might as well say.
02:52We were not all thinking it.
02:54That was my first thought.
02:56Just a total legend.
02:58So what nursery rhyme?
02:59I don't know.
03:00I've been going through all the nursery rhymes.
03:03Is she thinking of Cat Bin Lady?
03:04I don't know what she's thinking of.
03:06No, it is ding-dong bell, pussy in the well.
03:09Ding-dong bell, pussy in the well?
03:10Yeah, but I can't remember the rest of it.
03:12I think no one remembers the rest of it.
03:14As soon as you get to pussy in the well, you're like, there's no point seeing it anymore with this.
03:18I mean, she put in quite a shift across the whole mission.
03:21Let's have a look at that.
03:22Help! Help! Help!
03:24Help!
03:24Help!
03:27Celia let out a noise that I've never heard.
03:30Before in my life.
03:33No! It's the...
03:35Celia!
03:38No!
03:39No!
03:39No!
03:40No!
03:40No!
03:42The skill of projection is very important.
03:46It's a lot to do with breathing.
03:47A lot to do with enunciation, I guess.
03:50No!
03:51Stop it!
03:52I can't stop!
03:54Stop it now.
03:54Stop it now.
03:55I mean, at least the sounds are coming out of her mouth this time.
04:00That is true, yeah.
04:02That's a bonus.
04:03Yeah.
04:03Who was your favourite celebrity to dunk their head under the water?
04:07The Stephen Fry one was very good for the reason of him kind of almost storming away going,
04:11you're a grown man, what are you doing?
04:13It still kind of catches me off guard.
04:14Yeah, I think that's Stephen Fry actually.
04:16That's Stephen Fry.
04:17Like, this is incredible.
04:19It was Claudia's face when Stephen Fry was dunking his head under the water.
04:22Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:23Stephen Fry's dunking his head.
04:24Let's talk gameplay now.
04:26Because there were some very different approaches to the shields.
04:29So Kat got a shield, took the shield.
04:31She was first there.
04:32She took the shield.
04:33I'm having that.
04:33Yeah.
04:34Let's not tell anyone else in the other group.
04:36Yeah.
04:36About the shield.
04:37Jonathan found the one in the watering can and just immediately just offered it to Stephen.
04:42Oh, it's a risk, isn't it?
04:43So do you think that's a risk?
04:44Is that something that you would have done, Paul?
04:46Jonathan's doing that thing where, like, I imagine, like, for people watching him,
04:50he looks so obvious, but he's so compelling at the round table that he can kind of do the
04:54slope of shoulders thing.
04:55And I imagine when people watched me in season two, they were doing the same.
04:58Like, it's so obviously this person.
05:00Yeah.
05:00And people would name it the round table, but then he would just throw it all away.
05:03Yeah.
05:03But I do think that kind of, like, nonchalant, well, you can just have it.
05:06It's kind of like a subconscious move.
05:09But I think he's so smart and he's so good at kind of battling people at the
05:12round table.
05:13It almost doesn't really matter.
05:14I think Jonathan's being quite smart sometimes, though, because when his name does get brought
05:17up, I think Celia brought his name up to him.
05:20Said, I think I'm suspicious of you.
05:22He'll say things like, well, we've got to investigate that.
05:24Yeah, you're right.
05:24Yeah.
05:25But a lot of them mentioned his name on the last episode, but they then didn't vote
05:29for him.
05:30Yeah.
05:30So I don't understand that.
05:31It seems to take them a while for a theory to warm up to the extent that they're willing
05:35to put it into practice.
05:37Because I think they're all so worried about getting it wrong, which makes it so much harder.
05:40Except for Joe Marler.
05:43Joe's not as intelligent.
05:45He's very funny.
05:46Yes, he is.
05:47But then his theory is very good about the king of the big guys, Stephen, against Jonathan.
05:52He's nailed it.
05:53But they're not pushing for that, though.
05:55I know.
05:56I know.
05:56It's great.
05:57Now, just before we hear from Ruth, I need quick thoughts on that cliffhanger.
06:01We don't know who's going to be murdered, but the Banshee is coming for someone.
06:04And it's one of Kate Garraway, Charlotte Church, or David Olesoga.
06:08I think David, because he's the quietest of the group.
06:13I think Kate could help stir the pot a little bit, but she can also bring loads of attention
06:17onto herself.
06:18Who's the other one?
06:19Charlotte Church is the other one.
06:21Charlotte Church has been getting some heat as well.
06:22If people are getting heat, you leave them in there.
06:24And sometimes the ones that aren't getting heat and aren't really contributing.
06:27I think Kate's more of a danger out of the three of them, because she asks a lot of questions.
06:32Charlotte's not got anything correct yet.
06:34Well, whoever it is, I'll be chatting to them on the next episode of Uncloaked.
06:38But without further ado, it's time to hear from our next murdered player, Ruth Codd.
06:43She's joining us very soon, but first, I caught up with her in Scotland straight after she was
06:47murdered to get her first reactions and reveal who the traitors were.
06:55Hi, Ruth.
06:56Hello.
06:57Welcome to Uncloaked.
06:58Thank you so much.
06:59Thank you very much for coming.
07:01Take a seat, please.
07:05It's very nice to see you, and thank you for coming on the show, but sad to see you leave
07:10the game so early.
07:11How are you feeling now that you're out?
07:13Delighted.
07:14I have a 15-year-old dog at home.
07:16She hasn't much time left, so I kind of needed to get back, you know what I mean?
07:20So the dog's on the clock.
07:22You're thinking that during your time in the castle?
07:24Yeah, big time, yeah.
07:25Someone's looking after her there, right?
07:27No, I just left her home alone.
07:29She can look after herself.
07:31So you were so confident that you'd be out at this point, you just thought, she's not
07:34due a feed, I'll be back before episode five.
07:36Yeah, that was the plan.
07:39It's all right, I left the back door open.
07:42You know, I had a plethora of tactics going in, and it all went tits up the second I got
07:48in there.
07:48I thought I'd play it quiet and then kind of coast my way through, you know, and not
07:56be, get too mouthy.
07:58But again, it's me, round table number two, just running my mouth off left, right and
08:05centre.
08:06I think whenever I speak to people who played the game, it's always the people who say,
08:10I'm going to go in and change my personality.
08:12And then within two round tables, it's like, there's no point doing that.
08:15You've got to be yourself, right?
08:16I fear a lot of them in there think we're at summer camp.
08:21You're not going to figure it out that way, if you know what I mean, if people aren't
08:23being open and honest about their theories.
08:26Because there was a couple of things people said around the table, and you'd be like,
08:28oh, yeah.
08:29And then things start to click together in your head.
08:32Yeah.
08:33So if people did more of that, then it might be a more successful first couple of round
08:37tables.
08:37Well, they're definitely not going to now.
08:38Muggan's over here.
08:41They'll be like, oh, Root told us all to speak up.
08:43Also, she got murdered.
08:44Yeah, that's a very good point.
08:46You were the one who spoke up, and that was the end of you.
08:48I literally knew last night.
08:50I was like, I'm either going to get recruited or murdered.
08:54And was that because you spoke up, you thought, that's me marked out now?
08:57Yeah, and I kind of knew, to be honest, when I was speaking up.
09:02In my head, it was like, Root, stop talking.
09:07So you said after that round table that you thought there might be a target on your back.
09:11Oh, I absolutely knew it.
09:12I went, I'm pretty sure Jonathan was going around moving and shaking, like making sure
09:17everyone knows, you know, he wasn't telling corky pies.
09:20Right.
09:20Why don't you tell me first of all, who do you suspect of being a traitor?
09:25Well, suspect number one is Jonathan, obviously.
09:28Yes.
09:28Suspect number two, Kate.
09:34And suspect number three.
09:36I kind of just have this gut feeling that it might be Celia, just because she's so chaotic.
09:42So it's the chaos of Celia that makes you suspicious.
09:44Yeah, but also I wouldn't, I don't think I would have ever voted for her at the round table,
09:50just because she's so entertaining to have around.
09:52What about your definite faithfuls?
09:54Definite faithfuls?
09:56Is there any definites in this game?
09:59Really?
10:00Well, who did you trust the most?
10:03Well, obviously I trusted Claire the most.
10:05I swear to God, if she's a traitor, I'm never, I'm, I'm never going to be able to trust.
10:10My career is based off of instincts in acting.
10:13I'm going to have to go back to being a barber.
10:16We're going to have to open a hairdresser's if Claire Balding is a traitor.
10:22People were kind of accusing Kat, but I think Kat's a faithful.
10:26I mean, if Lucy is a traitor, give that woman a BAFTA immediately.
10:32I think it's time.
10:34I'm going to give you the scroll.
10:36Has anyone ever not opened the scroll?
10:39You're contractually obliged to open the scroll.
10:41I'd rather live in ignorance.
10:43It's like when it comes to watching myself in films, I'd rather live in ignorance.
10:47Let's see the first one and read the name out for me.
10:55Oh!
10:55Oh, I was right!
10:59Okay, I don't have to open the hairdresser's.
11:02I was right!
11:03You were right.
11:03It was Jonathan.
11:05Should we see the next one?
11:06Yeah.
11:13It's Kat.
11:15Good for her!
11:17Yeah, fair play!
11:19You're feeling quite positive about that.
11:20I'm quite positive about that one.
11:22Can traitors kill off other traitors?
11:24Well, they can lead people towards them and get them banished.
11:27So do you think that might be...
11:29Can you see the traitors turning on each other?
11:31Depends who the third traitor is.
11:34Who do you think?
11:34Do you have a sense of the third traitor?
11:35Now you've seen the first two.
11:37Now I've no idea.
11:39Let's see the third.
11:39Alan!
11:47Alan!
11:49He killed Paloma!
11:51Yeah.
11:53I'm ingenious, but he's going to need to move to Mexico when he gets out of here.
11:58She's going to kill him!
11:59Yeah, I mean, we've talked to Paloma.
12:01It's not going to end well.
12:03Oh, well, that does mean a best friend spot is up for grabs.
12:06I think she's quite cool, so, yeah.
12:07And we're joined by Ruth now, live from Belgium!
12:15Yay!
12:18Ruth, welcome to Uncloaked.
12:20We should ask you straight away, how's the dog?
12:23Was the dog okay when you got back?
12:25Dead.
12:27And did the burglars tick much as you left the back door open?
12:32No, no, that's the thing.
12:33The back door closed and she couldn't get to her water bowl.
12:36Right.
12:37Right.
12:39Honestly, I am joking.
12:41Benny is alive and with.
12:42She's like, my mummy is looking after her.
12:44Now, let's talk about your two roundtables.
12:47In that first roundtable, you voted for Kate.
12:50Why were you so suspicious of her?
12:51Well, you're just really pissing in the wind, the first roundtable, aren't you?
12:55Yeah.
12:55So, not a lot to go off.
12:59I hadn't at that stage done any, I hadn't done the challenge where they change us all up in the little hut yet.
13:05So, I really didn't know at that point that she was so theatrical and over the top and loud.
13:15But, I kind of just thought that was a, that was an act.
13:18But, turns out it wasn't.
13:20It was just Kate.
13:21I wouldn't be hard on yourself.
13:22I think, I think plenty make mistakes like that.
13:25When you're in there, it's a different planet, isn't it?
13:26Yeah, well, I was at a disadvantage as well because I've only been in the industry a wet week.
13:33And, apart from Nico, I didn't know really, and Claire Balding, obviously.
13:37Yeah, yeah.
13:38I didn't really know anyone or had ever met them, you know, at events and whatnot.
13:46So, I had nothing to go off of at all.
13:50I think it's incredibly bold at the second roundtable to go after someone.
13:55And, it proved right.
13:55You were going after Jonathan, and we're all sat at home, absolutely punching the air, going, yes, she's actually doing it.
14:02How did it feel going toe-to-toe with him at that second roundtable?
14:06It was scary because I knew nobody really in there knows who I am, and everyone knows who he is.
14:14So, I knew I probably wasn't going to get that much back up.
14:18And, I was like, on a scale of one to ten, how much of a Jonathan-shaped hill are we willing to die on here?
14:25And, it turns out, it was a ten.
14:28It was a big, fat ten.
14:30Let's see a little clip of you and Jonathan going at each other on the roundtable.
14:34One of the first things you did was make an alliance with Nico and me and Claire in the car.
14:42You said it in the car, did he?
14:44Mm-hmm.
14:44Yeah.
14:44What did I say?
14:45Yeah, you said we're an alliance.
14:47I did not say we're an alliance.
14:48Yes, you did.
14:49We're an alliance?
14:49Yes, you did.
14:50Guys, I swear, I have not said the words.
14:52You did?
14:53No.
14:54OK, I'm not going to say, I'm saying you've misremembered.
14:56I have not said to anyone, I'm an alliance.
14:59OK.
14:59I've said to people, I totally believe you're faithful.
15:01I've said to people, I'm not voting for you.
15:03I have not said to anyone, we're an alliance.
15:06I did not say that.
15:09Wow.
15:09Right, well, let's settle it once and for all.
15:11Let's wind the tape back.
15:12OK, settle it then, Ed.
15:14Go on.
15:15Did Jonathan say you're in an alliance?
15:18Let's have a look.
15:20We've got now a one in 13 chance of death.
15:23If you form alliance people, that might swing it in your favour.
15:27Yeah.
15:28Some people know each other already.
15:30I don't know anyone.
15:32We're in trouble.
15:33No, you're not.
15:33And you've got two older allies here already.
15:35Exactly.
15:37So I think maybe from Jonathan's perspective,
15:40he'd created a very loose alliance.
15:42Maybe he was just throwing that word around
15:44in quite a general way.
15:46The sentiment of what he said remains the same.
15:49He lured Nico into a false sense of security.
15:53He created an alliance.
15:54He blindsided him at the round table.
15:57Doesn't matter, though.
15:58You stood up for your conviction,
16:00so that's what's important.
16:02Yeah.
16:02Yeah.
16:02Yeah.
16:03You know, better to be dead and right, I suppose.
16:07Exactly.
16:08Yeah.
16:09That's the old phrase, isn't it?
16:10Why do you think Alan Carr's getting away with it?
16:13Why are the people not realising that he is a traitor?
16:17Well, Claire did.
16:19It's just that thing of, like, I look back,
16:21I look back on episode one, he's sweating so much.
16:24Sweating.
16:24Yeah, yeah, yeah.
16:25I know.
16:26I was like, I just, because I didn't know him,
16:29I just, he said, oh, I have a sweating problem.
16:32And I just believed him.
16:34But just because he's so unserious, I suppose.
16:37Yeah.
16:38Yeah.
16:38None of us, none of us thought, apart from Claire.
16:41Took him seriously.
16:42Yeah.
16:43But his sweat problem disappeared, though, hasn't it?
16:46Like, the sweat problem had lasted for a while.
16:47He's mopped up.
16:47He's definitely mopped up.
16:48He's popped up.
16:49Yeah.
16:49I don't know whether it's just under the office or what,
16:51but it's now gone.
16:52Ruth, you also had a brilliant turn of phrase in the castle.
16:55Some very funny, very withering put-downs.
16:58Let's have a little look at a compilation we've made.
17:00It would be pretty terrible going on an all-inclusive
17:03to the traitor's castle,
17:04and then you don't even get a croissant out of it.
17:07When they were wheeling me down to get my leg chopped off,
17:10it was less tense than that.
17:12It was tense.
17:13Piss in my ear and tell me it's raining.
17:15Like, I know what I heard.
17:17I see something big and on wheels.
17:20That's my mobility scooter.
17:21My gameplay, for the most part, is to just be myself.
17:27You know, maybe be a bit friendlier.
17:31I'm not really notorious for my people skills.
17:36Brilliant.
17:38I've packed a stinger.
17:39Now that you've been through the show, Ruth,
17:41would you rather that you were a traitor or a faithful?
17:44Oh, I'm so glad I wasn't picked as a traitor.
17:47Why?
17:48I've just...
17:49That show has made me realise I'm strong-willed
17:53and I'm smart, I think.
17:55And I have my own mind, which I kind of knew going into the show.
18:00But I'm not as kind of savage as I thought.
18:04And I'm not ruthless.
18:05I agree with you, yeah.
18:06I always want to be a faithful.
18:08Ruth, we're going to chat more on our BBC Sounds bonus episode
18:12a little later.
18:12But just before you go,
18:14what was your reaction to watching the faithful banish Claire?
18:17It was absolutely infuriating.
18:19It was the same thing as what happened to Nico.
18:24It was just everyone jumping on the bandwagon,
18:27which watching fully grown adults who have established careers
18:33was just fascinating.
18:36Herd mentality, yeah.
18:37I agree with you.
18:38Well, yeah, absolutely.
18:40It really was a shock for all of us to see Claire fall
18:42at the latest roundtable.
18:43But she and I got to sit down for a chat
18:45straight after her castle exit.
18:47And, of course, I revealed to Claire
18:48just who those pesky traitors are.
18:55Welcome.
18:57Welcome to Uncloaked.
18:58Grab a seat.
18:59Thank you very much.
19:01Oh, nothing.
19:04Claire, thank you so much for joining us on Uncloaked.
19:06You're very welcome.
19:07I wish it was under different circumstances, though.
19:09Yeah, we're very sad to see you banished,
19:11but are you happy with your exit?
19:14Well, I did at least, I think, exit quite dramatically.
19:18And from the sounds I heard behind me,
19:20it caused quite a stir.
19:22That's what you want to hear as you leave, isn't it?
19:23You don't want to hear pure silence as you walk out.
19:26No, you want to hear Stephen Fry and Celia Rimerie swearing.
19:30We all want to hear that at all times, I think.
19:32Yeah, always, always.
19:33And it was funny because I think, as I stood there,
19:36I think so many, well, obviously, the faithfuls that have voted for me
19:39absolutely thought I was a traitor.
19:42And I regret not making a better argument for myself.
19:48It's an interesting thing.
19:49I found the whole experience so fascinating,
19:51and I knew it would be a way of seeing groupthink in action.
19:55But when it suddenly turned on you, there really is,
19:58you panic because you think, I don't know what to do here.
20:01And it's so much easier to attack than it is to defend,
20:04which I think is why so many politicians do that.
20:07They don't bother.
20:08Do you know what I mean?
20:08It is really hard to say, no, I promise you I'm a faithful.
20:12I can't give you a million reasons why you just need to trust me.
20:15Actually, it's much better to go on an angle and say,
20:18but I'll tell you why.
20:20And the thing I really regret,
20:21because I didn't think of it in the moment,
20:23was the night that, so only the night before,
20:26at the round table when Tamika was voted off,
20:28only four people voted for her.
20:30Of those four people, one of those has to be,
20:33if not two of them, have to be a traitor.
20:36So we'd narrowed it down then.
20:38Yeah.
20:39Even if they were doing clever voting,
20:41I still think it was too risky for one of them not to.
20:46Let's talk about your suspicions for a bit, Claire,
20:48because I know you brought the notebook with you.
20:50I have, and I'm not sure.
20:52OK, so the notebook has on the front of it,
20:54times I was right and nobody listened.
20:56Because I was slightly starting to feel,
20:58and I'll make this reference because Stephen will appreciate it,
21:01I was slightly starting to feel like Cassandra,
21:03who in Greek mythology is condemned by Apollo
21:07to constantly speak the truth and prophesy doom,
21:11but nobody will listen.
21:12And I was feeling very much like Cassandra.
21:14But it is also my own fault,
21:17because I then suddenly decided to play a strategy,
21:20I didn't say anything about Charlotte until it was too late.
21:23Yes.
21:24And I still may be wrong.
21:25And as I say, half of me hopes I'm wrong
21:27and half of me really hopes I'm right.
21:29You win either way or you lose either way.
21:31Well, exactly.
21:32I know.
21:33So, oh, I've had a very nice steak and slept well.
21:36That was...
21:37LAUGHTER
21:37I did put a lot in here.
21:40Anyway.
21:40It's more of a diary, isn't it, Glenn?
21:41It's more of a diary.
21:42But I...
21:45And just note some things that people did
21:47and how people voted
21:48and Joe Marler being very funny.
21:50For example, first night, first round table,
21:54I suspect, Kate, Nico, Tom, Jonathan.
21:58Right, well, I know Nico's wrong and I know Tom's wrong.
22:00I think Kate is wrong.
22:02Jonathan, I'm still not sure.
22:03I've also written, underlined, I'm an idiot.
22:07Yes.
22:08This is after I got banished.
22:09It became very clear I was going to get voted off
22:11banished in capital letters.
22:15Can I just say it's fascinating you carried on making the notes
22:17after you were out the gate?
22:19I've been writing messages to myself
22:22of what I've learned from it.
22:24Anyway, I've written also,
22:25danger of underestimating people
22:26and indeed overestimating others.
22:28I think one of the traitors
22:30is underplaying their intelligence hugely.
22:32And who do you think that is?
22:35Joe Wilkinson.
22:36And I think we are in danger of overestimating.
22:40I'm speaking as if I'm still in there,
22:41which obviously, sadly for me, I'm not.
22:43But we're in danger of overestimating
22:46Stephen's father of the house status.
22:49OK.
22:50And I think he'll think that now too.
22:52Mm-hm.
22:53Unless he's a traitor, in which case it's working.
22:56Now, this is a very exciting moment.
22:58I don't know if you're excited about this
23:00or you're dreading it.
23:01You're going to find out who the traitors actually are.
23:03Oh, I'm massively excited.
23:05OK, good.
23:05Listen, I can't wait to know.
23:06Good.
23:07Before I do reveal it to you,
23:10I do want to know who your biggest suspects,
23:12who your headline traitors...
23:14Well, obviously I said Charlotte
23:16and voted for Charlotte.
23:17I really hope I'm wrong on that.
23:20And I sort of wish I didn't...
23:22I wish I hadn't done that.
23:24Although I was suspicious of her,
23:26I wish I hadn't done that.
23:27I wish I'd gone for Joe Wilkinson, actually.
23:30So I would be super suspicious of Joe Wilkinson.
23:33I think he's playing a really super clever game.
23:39Well, and Alan I voted for.
23:41Yes.
23:41Alan on the Paloma theory.
23:43Yeah.
23:43Which I shall continue to call it
23:45for the rest of my life, the Paloma theory.
23:47My confirmed faithfuls, I think, are Nick.
23:51I think Lucy is a confirmed faithful.
23:55I think Kate is, actually,
23:57even though I suspected her very early on,
24:00on the basis of body language,
24:01which I now know means nothing.
24:02So this is really on what people say at Roundtable
24:06and how they vote.
24:08Celia, I think, is 100% faithful.
24:10I'm, you know, as Joe Marler would say,
24:12she's a hundy.
24:13I think Joe is a faithful as well.
24:14Let's find out.
24:17I feel a bit sick.
24:18My heart isn't racing quite as much
24:19as it was at Roundtable,
24:21but I actually feel a bit sick.
24:22It's a big moment.
24:24Jonathan, Jonathan.
24:33I should have stuck on Jonathan.
24:35Damn it.
24:36That hot...
24:36Honestly, that makes me cross
24:38because I so nearly last night
24:41went on a big one on Jonathan.
24:42Oh, that's funny.
24:56Do you think Kat's doing a good job?
24:58Kat's doing an amazing job.
25:00An amazing job.
25:02Because she hasn't really been brought up that much.
25:04You know...
25:04No.
25:05The fact that you mentioned her name so much,
25:07I was surprised.
25:07Celia did.
25:15Alan, damn it.
25:18I was right and nobody listened.
25:21You weren't far off the mark at all
25:22and certainly watching it,
25:25the Alan Paloma theory,
25:27I was willing you to follow it more
25:31at the Roundtable.
25:33I'm most annoyed about Jonathan
25:35because I think if Charlotte and I
25:37had trusted each other,
25:38we'd have got him.
25:38Yeah.
25:42Well, there we are.
25:43I mean, you could feel the intensity
25:45coming through the screen there.
25:46Oh, my God.
25:47Claire wanted to find those traitors.
25:49She's very competitive, isn't she?
25:50She made notes.
25:51Yeah.
25:51Wow.
25:52A hard-boiled detective.
25:53She was, like, really into it.
25:54Amazing.
25:55Yeah, incredible.
25:56And she had such a long list
25:58of confirmed faithfuls
25:59that were all correct.
26:00Yeah.
26:00So maybe that is the way
26:01she should have gone about it
26:02is ticking off everyone
26:04that she knew definitely.
26:05Yeah, and not a lot of people
26:06do that, I guess,
26:07looking at that strategy
26:08to go, well,
26:09these are the people
26:09that I'm almost convinced are.
26:11Because I think everyone
26:12that's done that so far,
26:13they've pretty much been on the money.
26:14They've kind of got it right.
26:16The detailed notes
26:17are an incredible thing
26:18to learn about.
26:18Going back to her room
26:20every night
26:21in her individual lodgings,
26:23writing her detailed notes.
26:24Paul, just remind us, again,
26:26what you were doing every night.
26:27I was reading American Psycho.
26:29Yes.
26:29And going,
26:29this Patrick guy
26:30has really got something.
26:31He's got some good ideas.
26:32But I was also writing scripts.
26:34I talk about
26:35what arguments
26:36are going to happen tomorrow.
26:37So like tomorrow,
26:38if this happens
26:39and this is the way it will go,
26:40I will say this
26:41and I will say that.
26:42Wow.
26:43I was doing full argumentative scripts.
26:45Yeah.
26:45Thinking he will then
26:46pick me up on that,
26:47but I'll say this
26:47and direct it this way.
26:48Paul, with all due respect,
26:49you should be in prison.
26:50Yeah, I probably should be,
26:51shouldn't I?
26:52I think that we've,
26:54we've lost a potential
26:55superstar traitor hunter
26:56in Claire.
26:57Yeah, 100%.
26:57Because she was right about Alan,
26:59starting to have some suspicions
27:00about Jonathan as well.
27:01Yeah.
27:02She felt like nobody
27:03was listening to her.
27:04I think people would have
27:04eventually listened to her.
27:05Yeah.
27:05A little bit like
27:06Jazza Christie.
27:08Yeah.
27:08Of course.
27:08I made that,
27:09yeah, I draw on the same comparison.
27:11We do need a detective name
27:12for Claire though.
27:14Yeah, that's true, isn't it?
27:15I've got,
27:15I've got some options
27:16if you want to,
27:16you want to hear them.
27:17Some options, yeah.
27:18Claire Lumbo,
27:19that's a personal favourite.
27:20Claire Lumbo, yeah.
27:21Yeah, I don't think
27:22we're topping that.
27:22Jessica Claire Fletcher.
27:24It's a reach in it,
27:25but I think it's fine.
27:26Yeah.
27:27Favourite one though,
27:28Inspector Horse.
27:29So, yeah.
27:31Right, okay.
27:33There we go.
27:34Well, we've got so much more
