00:00Cowboys, Commanders, a little story, if you will.
00:05I like to, on a Sunday night, so in about, I don't know,
00:0810 hours from now, or maybe a little bit less, right?
00:13You look at the games, you don't know the spreads,
00:15you guess what they're going to be, this, that, and the third, right, Joe?
00:17Yeah.
00:18And this was a game here with Dallas and Washington, right?
00:21So this is pre-Monday night.
00:22I thought to myself, I could see Dallas being a little bit interesting here.
00:26I figured this would be a short spread.
00:27Plus threes were out there and available.
00:30On Dallas.
00:31And I knew sometimes you just, but it wasn't widely available.
00:34I'm like, if you don't take this three now,
00:36you're never going to be able to get it.
00:38And then Washington loses.
00:43Washington does not get Terry McLaurin back.
00:46Washington adds Debo Samuel to the injury list.
00:49And Dallas is getting healthier on the offensive line.
00:52This is a Cowboys one and a half point spread up to two in places.
00:59A five point move in some spots from last Sunday to this Sunday.
01:08And I totally get it.
01:10But now I don't know how I feel about laying a favorite number with Dallas
01:15against this commander's team.
01:18How do you feel about this NFC East battle?
01:20Well, it's going to be tough, but I still, my best bet in this game is the over 53 and a half.
01:27The one concern I have, and I watched the primetime game against Chicago,
01:31is that that rushing attack isn't dominant for Washington, right?
01:35In order to win this game against Dallas, they're going to have to rush.
01:39How are they going to get 100, 150 rush yards in this ballgame?
01:43I think it's mostly through Jayden Daniels.
01:46I think this is a game that Jayden Daniels potentially has to take over.
01:49When you watch that game last week, he got involved with McCaffrey
01:53and all those tertiary wide receivers.
01:55Zach Ertz, obviously the security blanket.
01:58But without McLaurin, how are they going to attack this defense over the top?
02:01I think they need to run tempo.
02:03I think they need to obviously utilize Jayden Daniels more.
02:07Again, wet track, so he didn't dominate like I think he would have liked to
02:11and credit Chicago for the defensive game plan.
02:14But I think in this game, they're going to utilize Daniels, you know, A game.
02:19This is the game that Jayden, if you remember when Jayden Daniels takes games over,
02:23they dominate just the way he did against the LA Rams.
02:27Chargers, I think that's the type of match.
02:29I'm not sold on Dallas.
02:30And, again, the way they got abused by Carolina, for me,
02:34they got exposed in the secondary without digs in this lineup.
02:37I think it's a big day on the ground and through the air for Daniels.
02:41Two-plus touchdowns, and he hits paid dirt on the ground.
02:45So three, and I think they pulled the game out.
02:48But my best play is the over.
02:49So let me ask you about the Cowboys wide receivers.
02:54Because CeeDee Lamb is viewed as a consensus top five wide receiver in football.
03:01George Pickens, though, is a supremely talented player.
03:05And the injury happens to Lamb, and Pickens has this incredible run.
03:11He has now scored in five consecutive games against Green Bay.
03:14He has two touchdowns, 134 yards.
03:17The Jets, a quieter game, but still brings in a 43-yard touchdown.
03:20And then, once again, lights it up against Carolina for a career.
03:23Nine receptions, 168 yards, and a touchdown.
03:27So Lamb comes back.
03:28He says, I'm good to go.
03:30Pickens is playing well.
03:32It's a good problem.
03:34It's not a problem at all for Dallas.
03:36But from a prop side of it, right, Joe?
03:39I'm seeing, right now, Lamb at 76-1⁄2, Pickens at 64-1⁄2.
03:47Receptions, just to give people kind of a full scope, Lamb is at 6-1⁄2, Pickens is at 4-1⁄2.
03:54What do you think the workload looks like for the Dallas wide receivers?
03:59He feels, he's almost like Stafford a little bit, Dak, right?
04:03When he locks on his guy for the day, he definitely steps up and keys on that guy the whole game.
04:1185% of the productivity.
04:13And we saw him step up to Pickens, you know, in multiple games without C.D. Lamb.
04:18Now that Lamb is back involved in the offense, I think he's option number one.
04:22But I still think he utilizes Jake Ferguson in the tight ends, right?
04:26He always checks down.
04:30I have a problem.
04:33I think it'll be an over, right?
04:35But from a prop perspective, I can't dial in on one specific guy for Dallas that I want to key on.
04:42Like, for me, like, I just have a problem.
04:45I would much rather just take Dak for 3-1⁄4 today, knowing how the success that Caleb had against that defense.
04:54And knowing that, hey, Javon Dave Williams and the rushing attack is good.
04:59It's not elite.
05:01And the only way they're going to get back into a playoff mix is by putting up points.
05:05How do you do that?
05:06You pay your $60 million man, and that's Dak Prescott.
05:10So, again, he might spread it around to C.D. first, I believe.
05:13But I definitely think he's got to get to 3-1⁄4 today to pull this game out.
05:18I don't think it's an under in any capacity.
05:20I don't think it's an under in any capacity.
