00:00We're here at Dudley Collies, the Broadway, and we're here with Rose Cook Monk. Hello.
00:04Hello.
00:04And Chairman of the Festival of Remembrance Committee.
00:09Dudley Remembrance Committee.
00:10That's the one.
00:11Yeah.
00:11Mr. Rawlings.
00:12Yeah.
00:13So guys, what's happening here at Broadway? We're here just to plug a special event. Talk us through it. Go on.
00:18Okay, this is an annual event that we've been running for quite a few years now to celebrate the Festival of Remembrance in Dudley.
00:26Originally at Dudley Town Hall, years back we started using Dudley Town Hall and we started using Dudley College.
00:32And we've been using it here for this is our fourth year, I believe.
00:35Yeah, yeah. What can people expect at the event, Rose?
00:39The first half is our act of remembrance, and then the second half, we have an evening of entertainment.
00:47Yeah.
00:47And it's all in aid of the Royal Bridge Legion, and it is ensuring that Dudley remembers.
00:52So we've got singers, we've got brass bands on.
00:56Yeah, we've got the Gentleman Samsters.
00:58The Gentleman Samsters Melboys Choir, the Sovereign Brass.
01:01There's a couple of surprise artists turning up on the evening.
01:04Yeah.
01:04Who knows who they might be yet.
01:06And it'll be a good evening's entertainment, but following on for a very sombre event, remembering the Festival of Remembrance, of course.
01:17That's what it's all about.
01:18And will there be a chance for people to have a bit of a sing-along as well?
01:22Generally.
01:23Yeah, good stuff.
01:24When is it then, guys?
01:26It's on Thursday, the 6th of November.
01:28It's the Thursday before Remembrance Sunday.
01:30And it's at 7.30 at the College Halls.
01:33And we're just going to get a song from these guys at the back, Steve Wolfo and the gang are just going to give us a...
01:39I'm only joking, I want to make you sing, don't worry.
01:42We'll save that for the night.
01:43Alright, cheers guys, well done to all involved.
