00:00I'm Allie Johnson and I am with K-Rock and I'm here with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody of season
00:07two of Nobody Wants This. Highly anticipated. Congratulations. I was able to binge the show in
00:12I think four hours so that was pretty good. Yeah good. I think that works out. You must have it on
00:18maybe like time and a half, speed and a half. Yeah I did do it. You guys were actually had a
00:24lot of energy. It was like you were all coked up. It was cool. One thing I love about this show in
00:29season one and two is that it really celebrates LA. I love seeing all the locations all the new
00:33places that you guys go and obviously for me I was like oh my god there's places that I forgot I
00:39need to check out in LA. Obviously you guys are so familiar with LA but were you able to experience
00:43it in a new way as well just with filming the show and being on location? I was able to be reminded
00:49of a lot of things. I can get quite hermatic in my daily life and just stay home and cook and not
00:56do anything but then like you know we're out and about and we're like oh there's the Yeasty Boys
01:00truck. Oh let's get bagels. Oh we should do a collab with the Yeasty Boys. Oh we're at this
01:04restaurant. Oh wait all these things that are that are kind of close at least to my house. Adam's a
01:08little bit more west side but. Yeah I'm on the west side so to me but I you know lived on the east
01:13side in Hollywood for a long time and it's been a long time and so to be filming back here and be back
01:19on Vermont and you know grabbing lunch from all these places it was it was a real trip down memory lane.
01:24Yeah the lunch ordering was really fun because you'd be like oh what are we close to and then
01:28we're reminded of all these great restaurants and Adam like loves sandwiches so I'm always asking
01:32like what he's eating what's your sandwich of the day. We got some good stuff. What is the
01:37sandwich of the day? I was doing a lot of Bub and Grandma's than you were too. The turkey trot from
01:41Bub and Grandma's. They also have the veggie sandwiches like I really like too. I don't know if you ever
01:46went there with me. I did I had a bite of yours one time but I couldn't get off that turkey
01:49trot. Yeah I understand. It's tough to get off a good turkey trot. One episode in particular that I love
01:56it focuses on new red flags that have come up in the relationship and I just wanted to know if either
02:01of you were in the dating world what would be your biggest red flag? For reference one of mine is the
02:07last first date I went on I wore the same outfit that I had in my dating profile picture which can be a
02:12red flag for some people. But you did it as a like to test them and smoke them out and see. Or like this is how to
02:18identify me. Like I'm wearing the same denim jacket for my dating profile picture. I think that's
02:24thoughtful also like people overthink everything. You're wearing that denim jacket because you own
02:29that denim jacket and you obviously like it and it looks great on you because it's in your profile
02:32picture and if you have a great denim jacket wear it on the date. You know? Well this person ended up
02:38becoming my wife but at the time she was like man is that the only jacket that she has? You're like it's my hero
02:44jacket in life. You're like wait what if what if it is? So what yeah it's my only jacket. Is that a non-starter?
02:51Clearly not. Clearly not. My biggest red flag and my number one is that if you're mean to the waiter or a service
02:58person of any kind. That for me is like it's that's an immediate yeah I need to know that you have respect
03:05for people around you and are putting some pouring some effort out there. Yeah. Yeah same and not just really just
03:11anyone across the board if I see you know. Yeah. If somebody's not kind or I've said you know because
03:18we've been asked this but like you know also like I don't care for moody people. You know what I mean?
03:23I think like unless a tragedy truly just struck you know I don't need like extreme cheer but I think
03:31you know I don't care for your grumpiness. Yeah. So when it comes to. I think it's a little childish.
03:38Go ahead. Well I mean it's also like you catch someone on a bad day. You know when I worked in the
03:46service industry I was like maybe someone's just having a crappy day. Again unless tragedy just
03:51struck I sort of don't excuse it. I'm like it depends. It depends how you know if you're a little
03:56more withdrawn fine. But if you're you know. He doesn't like the grumpiness shooting out. Yeah or as
04:02an excuse or like it's okay that I'm this way because I'm you know I had a bad morning. Like no.
04:08And now it's your problem and your bad morning. When it comes to some of the new relationship
04:14challenges that that are covered in season two. One thing that's obvious because of Joanne's
04:19podcast is how much of your relationship to share publicly. Is that something that you were able to
04:25relate to on a personal level and was there anything that you were able to kind of bring to
04:28your characters as you navigate this conflict. I mean yeah that is my real life. Yeah. My husband
04:33has a podcast and we are very open. I guess I get this question a lot of like is there a strategy
04:41to certain things that you keep hidden or I don't know that there's anything all too thought out
04:50other than like gut instincts. Like you sort of go through a protocol. Like when he's gonna when I'm
04:55gonna talk about him publicly or he's gonna talk about me publicly. You go through a little
04:59checklist in your mind like is this my story to tell? Would this hurt anyone's feelings? And how
05:07would she feel with the way that I phrase it? And I think if you hit those things and you're doing
05:12it respectfully. For me, for everyone it's different. For me it's fine too. I tend to be an
05:17oversharer. Yeah. I've definitely done that on the radio with my wife. Sure. And I think in the split
05:22second I'm like I'm just gonna share this. Yeah. And then I'm like oh crap. You can use that
05:26checklist. Yeah. Yeah. I think I need to work on the checklist. With the cameos obviously there are
05:32many in season two including your wife. And the line in particular she's not my type. I was just
05:38curious how that made it into the show. Is that something that you guys came up with or was that
05:42already in the script? No. I think Aaron brought it up to me on the day. It was like we're thinking
05:46about this line and it'll be a little Easter egg what have you. And I said sure. Nice. Yeah pretty
05:52simple. Do you guys get the same trailer or you have your own trailers? Same. Same. Same
05:56trailer. Matching trailers. Yeah. No not matching. Same. Like no I mean like we cohabitate one. Right.
06:02That's exciting. Yeah. Cool. Well thank you guys so much for your time. I really appreciate it. It was
06:06really nice meeting you. And best of luck with the premiere and everything tonight. Likewise. Thanks.
